Star auto are more than mechanics, they're super heroes! My Mercedes Benz s430 had an issue with it and when I pulled into star auto 8 am my Benz was literally crawling into their yard, it kept dying out and couldn't go faster than 10 mph and would shut off randomly.. I was so stressed out because I had 3 different mechanics look at it and also out in other parts that I didn't need.. I took it to star auto and joe had helped me out so fast! I left it there at 830 am and got a call by 920 with a diagnosis that was my catalac converter needed to be replaced. A new one with labor would be $900 but there wasn't a new one around but there was a used one available for $600 labor and I happily agreed! My car is so special to me I love it! Amg kit so my Benz is definitely a sport! People were telling me to sell it , that it's going to cause more problems for me, but I'd rather keep it considering STAR AUTO IS IN MY CORNER FOR My Benz unlike other shops who are crooks and thieves and shouldn't work in the industry of car maintenance ever! I brought my car there for a headlight (special order bulb) in a Porsche. Porsche sold them a PAIR of bulbs, saying that if one is out, the other WILL be going out soon. They replaced 1 bulb & kept the other, and, sure enough, the other went out a week later! Guess what??? They tried to charge me all over again when I still had paperwork for TWO bulbs! I will never send a vehicle to these liars again. They are not only incompetent & liars, but are extremely rude in general. They talk down to everyone. They try to upsell on stuff that has already been replaced or repaired so they can show it to you & say they did it. They tried that on my Porsche with some suspension work I had done, saying my suspension was shot. BULLCRAP! read more
