My last time coming here. Sometimes the massage was good but something's it was ass but today was my final time. I paid before I went in for a massage, they had me wait an extra 30 minutes because the client before me wanted to extend their time which was no big issue... but they shortened my massage by 30 minutes.... Wtf is that? I usually go with Lucas but he's not there no more but the lady at the front said Kevin is pretty good too and I said ok. First of all what a creep. He massaged way to close to places he shouldn't be but I was just thinking he's new. After he was done I left but then he literally ran out to my car as I was driving away and stopped me and I was confused. I rolled my window down and he was demanding a tip, I told him I had no cash and he was trying to demanding me to pay his tip my card. I was shocked and honestly a little scared the way he just came to me AT MY CAR. I kept telling him no tip because the massage was not even good and he would just not listen. I finally said sorry and as I started to drive away and roll my window up he grabbed my door and window and tried to stop me again and at this point I got more scared and just kept going. This place is worse than 1 star. Not sorry. read more

Their full body massage is $40 plus a minimum $10 mandatory tip and a credit card fee if you use your card. The massage itself lasts about 45-50 minutes because they make you wait in the room for about 15 minutes before getting started. They have some decent masseuse and some who aren't very good. Depending on the room you get, you may have a nice room or one that smells musty. One room in particular has windows that face the parking lot and can get really loud if people are outside talking...in my case their was a guy who was shouting profanities for about 10-15 minutes at somebody else. So that said, this is definitely not my go to massage place. read more

Been here twice. My first massage was alright but my massage yesterday was bomb! He used the hot stones and reallly worked into my muscles. The first massage didn't have any hot stones and the guy barely talked but the second one asked me if i was okay, if anything hurt and checked on me throughout the massage. Infact, they always pretend that they didn't hear me even if I ask for a foot massage slowly and say " you want full body?". Came here for the first and last time while on my trip in San Diego. Massage wasn't great although I believe he did his best. What pushed me over the edge was the lady at the front desk who demanded at least $10 tip. We paid before the massage started. At the end, my mom gave her a $20 bill and asked for a $10 bill and 2 $5's. The lady got angry, pointed at her sign which had 3 emoji's. Sad for for a $10 tip, ok face for $15 tip, and happy face for $20 tip. She was insistent in keeping the $20 bill. Finally, I had to step in and demand her to give my mom the $10 and 2 5's. I just had my first massage here, and I opted for the 90 min option. Wow! I'll be back! A thin gentleman was my masseuse and he did a great job, good firm pressure and technique. However, I was desperate due to my aching neck and my regular masseuse at the chiropractic office was fully booked for the next couple of weeks. Star Massage is very affordable and worth the 20 minute drive. My masseuse was professional and friendly. The place is clean, quiet, and had plenty of parking, although there was a mattress in the parking lot with a transient hanging out. For asian massages, I would definitely come back. read more

One of the worst massages I have experienced. The masseuse was way to rough and fast. I asked him about 6 times to go softer and he would and then go really rough again. You would think he was in a hurry but I was the only person there. The place is really sketchy and not worth going at all. I came out more stressed then relaxed because I was telling him over and over to reduce the pressure. Not sure if he couldn't control his strength and pressure. Don't do it. Not the most fanciest place ever BUT they are really good went for the first time tonight and I was sketchy about it at first but it was VERY relaxing. You will hear noise by staff but it is still very relaxing and calming. I am 39 weeks pregnant I've been due for a massage & it was great! First time going there and I really loved my massage foot massage! I called to make my appointment at 5:00 and it was 4:58 and I received a call from them and they wanted to confirm I would be there at 5:00. I was literally a minute away, so make sure you're there a few minutes ahead or they will call you to confirm you're coming in. My massage wasn't really a full hour, they start from your appointment time so it was ended right at 6:00. It takes approx 10 minutes to get settled and for them to get the hot water to soak your feet. they should count the time they started on you. Plus people kept walking in and out of the room full of beds. They weren't loud but it was a slight distraction. However, the massage was amazing!!!!! It's not only feet - they massage everything! Your face, head, arms, hands, neck, back, butt, legs and feet! Andy was the one who did my massage - he was amazing! One of the best massages I've received. I was really dozing off. Located in the KFC & Jack n the Box shopping center, I initially couldn't find it easily. The massage was great! Purchased the 30 minute body massage + 30 minute foot massage. I rate the body massage a 9 out of 10 & the foot massage a 4 out of 10. Price was $30 & was well worth it, however, I was pointed to a sign that said that the tip for a body massage should be $10 & up, not your typical 20-25%, so I wasn't prepared for that. I think $10 minimum is a fair tip for the quality of work, but I just wished I knew about it beforehand- the receptionist should ask,"Is this your first time here? Okay, this is how it works. If your massage was well done, please tip a minimum of this amount...". The massage was average/good. I get massages all over at home and on vacations regularly. What ruined the entire experience was the most absolutely rude Chinese lady who worked the front reception desk. She demanded a $20 or more tip for the massage. I've never heard of a forced demand for a tip. I had planned to give a $15 tip but decided to give $10 after her ranting and disgraceful bizarre behavior. This is why the rating is a one star.
