I had the worst day of my life when they helped me replace my tire at an affordable price (I am broke af son and I drive a Tesla Model S that i should be selling but alas). I was on the 101 omw to the closest DMV kiosk i found on the way home when my tired popped in the middle of the 101 highway. It was so dangerous! I was with my friend and my dog stuck there on the farthest right (slow) lane shoulder still in lane. Although i had the worst of luck there my day was made better because right of the exit of Reseda, Star West Motors were able to help. They were empathetic with the situation and took care of me. Came in for a simple job asking for a few exhaust gaskets get taken care of. When I left the car was a little louder but I didn't think much of it. A few days later I get on the freeway and realize it sounds as though the work had never been performed. I come back into the shop and keep getting the run around. I'm standing here waiting for the owner just for them to look at it. Horrible customer service and if they can't even do this right I wouldn't even recommend an oil change. Waiting for the owner over an hour now. Update: the owner showed up and was pretty nice. I'll give two stars for his customer service alone. When under the car found a bolt had either not been installed correctly or never installed a nut, im unsure of which. They corrected the issue and I was happy to find that I wasn't out of my mind. Can't say I'd recommend or return, I would have before seeing how this was dealt with. read more

I have talked to her on the phone and I has a feeling that something wrong. They made the hole much bigger and said they can't fix it and it's trash and there is nothing to do with it and the patch will not gonna help. Said she need a new tire and gave her price for $140 for new tire . I said to her to go from there. I'm a woman with a fancy car. Easy to either be taken advantage of or feel like you might be even if you aren't. I have never had that feeling from these guys, quite the opposite. I've gone to them over the years for tire changes, tire plugs and other miscellaneous car work. They are really straight forward, honest, fast. They've never tried to oversell anything, including themselves, but I get the specific feeling that they treat all their customers the way they would want to be treated. He quotes me a number, I call my Infiniti dealership to compare their own quote, they give me a lower number... when I tell Aram, he says, "Did you ask about labor?" ... I didn't. I call back, sure enough, the corporate jerks "forgot" to mention the $96 extra dollars for labor, throwing it over Aram's total. I went in to get an alignment done on my car after passing by and noticing their $65 alignment and their service was prompt and professional. I knew that the car only needed the alignment but I was expecting the stereotypical car shop practice of trying to upsell extra services, I was pleasantly surprised that they don't do that here.
