Starbird in SFO Terminal 1, right next to Gate B13, is a solid airport stop. I have been their fan a long time as I have seen more of their locations open up around the Bay. I got their chicken sandwich for lunch, and it was fresh, crispy, and satisfying. Convenient ordering at the kiosk and the food came out fast. Airport prices are expected, but I'd happily stop here again.

Really good seasoned fries with yummy dipping sauces. I got the blazin ranch, greek yogurt ranch, and thai chili aioli. I liked the blazin ranch sauce the best. Spicy and creamy, just right. Their donut wasn't as fresh but I still enjoyed a couple bites of it.

Tender box. Great for carrying around the airport.

Located next to Gate B14, Starbird is great for fried chicken which travels well. Both with regards to the food (the crust on the chicken is tender but still dry enough that it'll last a while if you want to eat it on the plane) and the to-go box/container which it comes in is great for transport too. I typically get the salads (sturdy container too, with a plastic lid) but this time I grabbed their tender box. Fantastic, with delicious fragrant chicken and sauces. Fries are alright but nothing special. Wait is pretty short, maybe 5 minutes as Starbird usually is popular enough that there's always some customers at it in SFO. The spot has nice wood ambiance but it's very much grab and go and right next to foot traffic. There's some seating, but not much, though there's more seating closer towards the security checkpoint or further into the terminal (around the B20+ gate numbers).

I really enjoy starbird and I'm always so excited when I come to the city, cause I can get the best Nashville tenders outside of Nashville! Starbird is a typical chicken restaurant, serving several flavors of tenders, with different sauces to choose from. I love the fact that they serve French fries, because I am so tired of chicken places pairing tenders with waffle fries(it just rubs me the wrong way). It's an airport spot, so expect it to be expensive, but they do not go light on the amount of food you get. I'm usually able to starch mine to 2 or 3 meals. Make sure you eat the fries right away, as they aren't too good reheated, and ask for extra sauce (the cups are too tiny for the size of the tenders). Will definitely be back!

First time trying Starbird before a flight out of SFO. Ordering is pretty straightforward on the kiosk. I got the Chicken Chop Salad and some fries. Both were pretty good. I didn't like the dressing as much so only used half of it. The fries were not bad, nothing special.

After landed from a long flight from the East Coast, we decided to grab a quick bite before heading home. The chicken Cobb salad (extra spicy) was so good' I could tell they used some fresh quality ingredients in their salad. The chicken was crispy on the outside and moist in the inside. The service was quick as you can place an order yourself and they will call you name when your order is ready.

My first time having starbirdchicken (my bf always rave about this spot) and it was pretty good! I was not coherent since we had a 7am flight (woke up at 3am!) and almost ate my bfs breakfast but we got the following: * Bacon Egg Cheese - Toasted bun, american cheese, over-easy egg, bacon for $10.95 * Loaded Breakfast Burrito - Flour tortilla, pimento cheese, crispy tater tots, scrambled eggs, American cheese, crispy chicken, bacon, green onions for $13.95 Food was really good and I would love to try it again at one of their stand alone locations.

Super fast service and especially convenient before a flight. It was a better than most other chicken sandwiches.

Delicious chicken tenders & fries at this Starbird location. I like the variety of food choices at the SFO airport. I ordered the 3 piece classic tenders with fries from the kiosk. Wait time was less than 5 minutes and the food came out piping hot! The order comes with two sauces of your choosing. The chicken is tasty, moist inside and nice and crunchy on the outside. There's limited seating at the storefront, but plenty of seating throughout the terminal to enjoy your food.

I grabbed some fries @ Starbird @ SFO while waiting for my flight. They were better than expected. Hot and crispy. And the "star sauce" was good, like a sweet ranch type thing. The ambience was SFO. Would def visit again.

Restaurant in the SFO airport (San Francisco, CA), near gate B14. Quick and easy to-go chicken and actually tasted pretty decent, and decently priced for the area. They only serve chicken product like strips, salads and sandwiches, regular or spicy; we got the regular chicken strips and my picky husband even thought it was good. Seemed they had just cooked the chicken, and fries were good- I like them crispy, but B liked them not crispy. We got a 4 piece chicken strips and added extra 3 strips to share, and fries with extra sauce and came out to be about $25. Plenty of food for two. I enjoyed the star sauce and ranch too. They charge tax + employee benefits charge. Staff was quick and friendly with how busy it was. You order at a kiosk and pick up at the counter- pretty simple process. There is seating nearby to eat right away, or take it to your gate- I even saw a few bring it on the plane to enjoy. We actually went back and got the cookie ice cream sandwich for dessert and was two oatmeal cookies with ice cream covered in chocolate- it's an old San Francisco dessert recipe and was good. Lots of other desserts too- I wanted to try the strawberry crispy treat.

As far as airport fare goes, this place was pretty decent! I got their classic sandwich, the starbird 2.0. It was pretty good! A tingly spicy kick from the sauce (?), slaw with shreds of kale felt very San Francisco, and mashed avocado that tasted a bit more like guacamole. I have to give a special shoutout to the man who was handing out the sandwiches when I visited, an older black man who greeted everyone with outstanding friendliness and cheer. He definitely brightened my day, and I hope he's getting noticed (and given a raise!!) by management.

The chicken strips here are absolutely amazing my next visit. I will definitely try one of the salads.
