I'm so glad they finally opened! Since then, I've been loving their senorita breads and the whole family loves to snack on them! So much so, I placed a huge order for my sister in law's bridal shower last month. Such a good add-on for any occassion! It was such a hit! I highly recommend it. Always get the senorita breads fresh! They also sell it "cold" which is fine if you'll eat it for a later time anyways. Just reheat and just as good! My 1yr old daughter and my 2.5yr old goddaughter eats them nonstop lol! Starbread offers way more pastries. They have bitso-bitso, cupcakes, donuts, malasadas, etc. I've only tried the filled bitso-bitso so far. Also very good! I can't wait to try the rest. read more

The best señorita bread!! Super soft, moist and it melts in your mouth. I also like their Malasadas. The texture is perfect and is almost the same as Leonard's in Hawaii. I would definitely come back and buy more!! read more

I am so so so glad that they put a Starbread Bakery in Carson!! The other location is in Anaheim and that's more than a trip for me lol. Anywho, I LOVE the senorita bread!! You can't go wrong with that. If you want something buttery and sweet with sweet cream in the center, this is your go to. They are served warm and just ooey gooey DELICIOUS AND ADDICTING. The bakery overall has a great selection to choose from, customer service is great and the bakery is super clean. Next on my list is the Ube Cupcake, yeeeees Ube and the biscotti(super good to dip in your coffee.) Was very excited to see a Starbread in Carson. Just as delicious as the one I'm used to in Vallejo, CA but without the fear of being mugged. I've gone to this place twice just for the senorita bread. It's delicious. It's like eating fresh Pan De Sal. I've ordered on Christmas Day for a small get together. They were open and ready to help out. The only thing I don't like I wish we can order a head of time or online order. I remember calling an no answer. Just get a voicemail. The place is clean and smells great inside. I'm planning on going again for NYE. Hopefully they can accommodate my order of 80-100 pieces. read more

It was my first time going to Starbread and I had a great experience. The cashier, Yuli, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable! I asked her for recommendations and she was able to provide me with personal suggestion as well as inform me which pastries were best sellers. The shop was clean and there is plenty of parking at the location. I stopped by around 4pm on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy. Great customer service and bread! My favorite was the senorita bread, I could tell it was freshly baked since the bread was still warm. Love this place and staff, will be coming back! read more

To start off I've loved Starbread since we discovered it passing thru Sacramento like almost 8yrs ago and ever since then it's one of our stop overs going to Nevada. I found out that they finally opened a location in Los Angeles " Carson" . So we drove 1 1/2 hrs to buy some Senoritas- what they are known for, let me tell you What a disappointment . Ughhhhh it's nothing like what I remembered! To be honest it was really lacking more butter and more sugar or whatever they put on the outside of the bread to make it gooey and yummy. It was like I was eating dry bread. Hopefully they will noticed it and won't be cheap on ingredients. So I'm not really sure if I would take the time to drive an hour and half for it. Sorry but Nothing compared to their Sacramento Location. So if anyone reading this post if you are in the Sacramento Area try getting some from there, you will know what I'm talking about. read more

Enjoyed this place. I was first introduced up North, a few years ago. Was so happy to have one here in Carson. Will continue to buy their pastries for Special Occasions. This place is so good! I just wish they had one closer to LA LA as opposed to being all the way in Carson or Anaheim. I wished they had one in Eagle Rock or Panorama city a bit closer to the vicinity to where I live...im sure there's filipinos like myself that would frequent a location a bit closer to home. However today was my free day so I decided to commute to carson for their famous señorita bread. It did not disappoint. Its so delicious and their señorita bread is a lot more affordable and a better deal in bulk and box sets than say you were to get from other independent filipino bakeries--but of course it's because this is their specialty made fresh daily.
