Unfortunately the girl making the coffees got a little excited with the sugars and we both ended up with super sweet coffee that was awful. This is the second time I've come through this drive through and they have a problem taking a simple regular coffee order with a extra shot and steamed cream. And I get a warm coffee (which is why I asked for steamed cream) they don't double cup like 80% of the other Starbucks do. And, they just put a little cream, which undoubtedly isn't steamed. $3.25 for each. And they can't make it correctly. And, it also tasted like it may have two raw sugars instead of the 3 I asked for.. You know how you know how your drink taste because you drink it every day , sometimes twice a day. Just went through the drive thru and I give it to the worker that was helping us at the window. He's doing multiple things so mistakes happens but he was super nice about everything. We ordered 3 drinks and 2 drinks was supposed to be ice but we got 1 ice drink and 2 hot drinks. We did feel bad asking him to remake one of the drink since we know that there's not a lot of employees at a time like this but he remade it with no problem and apologize since he's doing multiple thing. But we completely understand, thanked him and even tip because that interaction was one of the best interactions that can happen so early in the day. read more

Starbucks is starbucks - you know what you're getting. This location is no different. It is fast, efficient, and the staff is friendly. I will say it was a plus to hear the members of the staff singing and staying upbeat on a busy Saturday. However be prepared - this has to be one of the busiest starbucks in the east bay area. I thought going inside would be faster and it still ended up being a 20 minute wait. This is nothing against the staff because they were definitely hustling! I nearly gave up on this location about a year ago. I started driving out of my way to other locations due to the lack of customer service and poor efficiency. But, then my schedule changed around a bit and I am back to this location and have been using it for several months. I am not certain of why, but the service has improved greatly! I ordered a decaf grande white chocolate mocha and received an under-filled cup. I got a couple sips of coffee and the entire lower half was sickly sweet (too many) pumps of flavoring with no coffee. I'm not sure what is going on with this particular Starbucks since another reviewer had the same exact issue. I will never return to this location. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I ordered a Trenta Ombre Pink Drink and it came out a regular Pink Drink. I asked the Cashier and he said no its not and he would correct it. When he asked the barisita who made it she sad she didn't know how to make a Ombre Pink Drink. Another employee told her the contents of the drink and I was lucky enough to taste the first one she made under no guidance and supervision. Next, I ordered a tall Smores Frappacino. I came in and ordered a venti (personal cup) iced coffee with breve, and a double smoked bacon and cheddar with no bacon. What I got: A grande iced coffee with regular milk in my venti cup. (What?) and a bacon Gouda sandwich. They also didn't discount me my price for my cup. When I told them to re do the sandwich to a smoked bacon and cheddar with NO BACON they gave me the sandwich with bacon. And she just filled my iced coffee with more milk and a tiny bit of coffee. So this is surprisingly the only asian guy I've ever seen Working at this location. Anyways, I walk inside because the drive thru is out of control and then I approach the cashier. I am a Team Leader at a Target Starbucks and I do not usually go to stand alone Starbucks stores anymore. A couple of times this week I visited the Lone Tree Starbucks and have enjoyed their customer service, but the quality of the drinks is not very good. The first time the caramel macchiato I had tasted burnt, like the shots expired before they were added to my drink, I didn't like it but was able to drink it because the vanilla and the extra caramel made it taste ok. Today, I was already having a bad morning and decided I would get a caramel macchiato again. This time there was no vanilla syrup and the shots were way over expired. I can't believe I used my star reward on this drink! Did I go back and ask them to remake it? No, because I was halfway home. I poured it out. The two stars are for the nice people at the drive thru. Zero stars for quality of beverage. I will only trust my team to make my drinks. We strive for beverage quality every time. Update: I now made this Starbucks a 1 star. Their consistently bad drinks are really disappointing. I got a white mocha frap with Java chips and it's all coffee, no milk and no white mocha. I like coffee but this drink is so bitter I cannot stand it. I really thought they could not mess this up. It is not hard to make these drinks! They all have a specific recipe. Wow! I have not been on yelp in forever and just restarted my account to post this review. Recently i was sitting in this Starbucks- let me tell you what I saw... I walked up, there are 3 Baristas, one chatting it up with an off duty pal. I told it will be a minute... Ten minutes later someone walks up- greets me then turns to her friend and starts chatting it up with me standing there at the register. I wait. And wait. Then she turns to me, I order a Starbucks Christmas blend coffee. We're out. Okay, I'll take a pikes peak. We're out. Um... I'll take a Carmel Mach. Another 8 minutes pass. I finally get my coffee. Bottom-line- I should have went to peets. I go to Starbucks not only for the coffee but the experience. As a former Barista, I am disappointed! If I could give zero stars, I would. WARNING!! Ask your barista to check the lid on your hot beverage! In the transfer from barista's hand to mine in the drive thru on Tuesday 12/4, my caramel brûlée ended up in my lap! Scalding hot coffee on my thighs was not fun. ZERO STARS! I'm currently in the drive thru. They are literally taking about 5-6 minutes per car. Get it together guys. Wait times are RIDICULOUS. Edited to add- Soo, to add insult to injury...when I finally got to the front of the drive thru line (no joke, it took me about 30 minutes with 5 cars in front of me..) I was thrown a ridiculous curveball by the girl working the window. I ordered a muffin, and couldn't decide what I wanted to drink...actually felt kinda dehydrated, so I just stuck with a venti iced water and a couple scoops of the dried strawberries. I have several friends that work for Starbucks all around the country including California, and they've all told me that I should have only been charged .50 for the water. Water is FREE people. The 50 cents is for the strawberries. So the girl at the window has the audacity to ring up my "drink" order as a "custom" drink....and charges me $3.75 for WATER FROM THE TAP and a couple scoops of strawberries. I asked her to clarify and she kept saying "it's a custom drink and that's the custom drink charge..." Excuse me?! Can someone please get this young girl away from the drive thru window because she obviously wasn't trained correctly. Is this what you're doing now Starbucks? Charging me almost $4 for tap water and like 3 pieces of dried up strawberries??? I customize my coffee all the time and have never been charged a "customization fee". I've always had a good experience at this location but yesterday's visit was above and beyond. I came to Starbucks yesterday for a mobile order and it wasn't quite ready yet which was no big deal; however, the barista, Lexi, noticed and connected with me and asked my name so she could get mine started! It's not often that I get the "3rd Place" experience like I know that Starbucks is supposed to provide and she went above and beyond today. She recognized, me she made sure to take care of me right away, and she had a great, upbeat, personality 10 out of 10! I also have a really weird drink order and she just didn't even bat an eye and made it very quickly and it was delicious! Thank you! read more

Arrived at this location and from the moment we arrived, placed our order and received it was 25 minutes. My bride ordered a non-fat carmel machiato and I order regular Pike coffee a 1 piece of bread. 25 minutes!! The drive through customers just kept passing by. Excellent service with a warm smile! Upon entering the shop we were greeted right away! Wow! How cool is that!?! There were plenty of others studying and reading the Sunday paper sipping on their drink of choice and I got greeted from the welcome wagon behind the counter like I was the Queen! I don't even get that treatment at home! Sheesh! I usually go through the drive through but was a bit hungry from shopping with my daughter so we decided to stroll on in for a drink and some grub! I got a vanilla latte today, haven't had one in a VERY LONG time. Tasted just like I remembered! Forgot to tell them to leave off the whip, no worries though. To munch on I got the sausage breakfast sandwich (yes it was in the afternoon but hey I was hungry), which always tastes great, no matter what time of day, mind you. The bacon used to be my fave, but if I could make a recommendation to Starbucks, that would be: to use THICKER and QUALITY bacon on your breakfast sandwiches. I used to like this location. If you ask me, the Manager did a poor job, Hiring this staff. Old staff was amazing! New employees are rude, no patient and listening is the worst. Fired them! I walked in this morning and asked how much a "traveler" ( jug of coffee ) cost and how long to make it. Knowing this was going to be a task for the amount of them I needed, I came with patience, but not enough I guess. I asked for 6. Knowing if I had them within an hour I'd be good on time on my side. One of the girls laughed, "I'm going on my lunch, if you guys wanna deal with that, have fun". Another girl, "we don't have 6 travelers". I was looking at 6 of them sitting on the shelf behind them. It happens frequently so I corrected her to ensure I was receiving the correct order as the mispronunciation is actually a name as well. She ignored me. Didn't double check the label to make sure she was giving me the right items. She simply kept passing the order the window. It was not that busy, maybe 4 or 5 cars in queue, definitely not the long string of cars I'm used to seeing. She could have taken 2 seconds to acknowledge her error and double check the label. This is my most favorite Starbucks in my city and areas I frequent. I've been going here for years. They have the best staff and manager around. It's always a comfortable, diverse, pleasant environment. They uphold the policies, honor the perks for Gold members, and have never made me feel like I had to fight for anything that the membership card stated it would give. Other places always give me issues. The place is always clean, and I've never seen any unfairness to anyone, and that's important for me to observe. Thanks to everyone at this establishment for making it such a great place for me to unwind after a hard day, or a go to to read, work, hang out, or just retreat to when I need some me time and a refreshment. Haven't been here in awhile. I forgot why. I was quickly reminded. The line in drive through was pretty long... Went inside. No one in line. 3 baristas working. Stood at register 7 minutes (after several Minutes of waiting I decided to time it... So it was longer..) not even an acknowledgment of "I'll be with you in a minute" nothing. Sad sad customer service folks. I ended up Leaving with no drink. Still. Stood online inside the store for about 4 minutes with not even a word.
