Haven't been here in awhile. I forgot why. I was quickly reminded. The line in drive through was pretty long... Went inside. No one in line. 3 baristas working. Stood at register 7 minutes (after several Minutes of waiting I decided to time it... So it was longer..) not even an acknowledgment of "I'll be with you in a minute" nothing. Sad sad customer service folks. I ended up Leaving with no drink. Still. Stood online inside the store for about 4 minutes with not even a word. No "I'll be right with you" , nothing. 5 people In line with me. Someone finally asks "is anyone going to help" and the barista roles her eyes and very snooty takes an order. Really Starbucks? Been to this location numerous times, never really had a problem until one day at the drive thru me and my sister asked to do two seperate transactions bc we were paying separately. Whoever took our order was fine, but when we got to the window the barista had such a bad attitude. Her tone of voice was rude and agressive. Unfortunately, i did not get HER name otherwise i would have stated it here. I work retail and i understand how things can get stressful, but you should never take it out on your customers. Since then i have not returned due to that unfortunate last encounter at this starbucks location. The only reason why i'm giving two stars is bc she ended up giving us an extra drink since they messed up on my sister's order. Which we would have driven away without bc she failed to tell us while we were at the window that she had another drink for us, so she had to quickly call us back before we drove away too quickly, which is appreciated. However, her bad attitude def not appreciated or necessary. 11/11 Another bad experience at this location, my mom just asked a question regarding our drink and the barista at the drive thru was very defensive and rude. Horrible customer service. I sent a mobile order. Drove to get it. Stood for about 4 minutes without anyone even acknowledging me. Finally I asked if they had my mobile order. That is when they took the ticket off the machine. Instead of making mine right away they stuck a sticker on it and let it sit on the counter for another 5 minutes. I could have went thru the drive thru quicker. The employee making drinks could have cared less. The customers that were in line after I got in all got there drinks before me. I'm not saying it was the color of my skin but I sure can't figure out why I was treated that way. I will never go there again. I'm from out of town, and this is the third time I come to the Starbucks due to the location convenience. The past 2 times I have been here I've waited 25+ mins in the drive thru. NOW I'm currently in the drive-thru line once again only to be here for another 25 mins and counting. Horrible service in terms of speed. There are 10 cars behind my car and 4 cars ahead of me. Once in the front, the guy didn't even bother to apologize for making 20+ cars wait for so long. I would definitely recommend a different Starbucks if you're trying to be quick read more

The place is empty. They only have Pikes and if we wish to have a pour over we'll have to wait 10 minutes whether we wait in the empty coffee shop or drive through. Looks like we'll be heading to our preferred Pete's Coffee. read more

My neighborhood Starbucks. You know you have one despite your distaste for corporate coffee shops. I think this Starbucks knows Lovie by name. He never heads out to school/work without getting a grande black iced coffee sweetened with Splenda with room for half & half. As for me, on the days I feel like splurging, a grande Capn Crunch frappuccino. So so delish! I also come here before taking Lovie to Catechism class to get him a grande cup of joe every Tuesdays. I have to agree with the first reviewer of this place! I have been to just about every Starbucks in the Brentwood/Antioch/Oakley area and this one really has to be the best! I literally drive a few extra miles to this location, only because I know I can count on them to make my drink perfect to my liking (sound's like a bit a coffee snob, yes I know) there coffee is usually made strong, though not bitter (unfortunately like other Starbucks) and they always make the foam on my lattés to a soft, cloudy perfection- not to mention the staff are always positive, upbeat and appear to know what they are doing. Now don't get me wrong, I still only wish they had coffee places out here such as Pacific brewing co in W.C or Philz in the city who master at coffee however, for here in this area, this Starbucks is the place to go! read more

I wish I could give less, this store CONSISTENTLY frustrates me. Mobile orders take at minimum 15-20 minutes to get ready. Even when the app says 4-7 plan in about 10-15 minutes. The counters are always a hot mess, no straws, no one makes eye co tact with you. The staff is so stressed due to not being organized that they are snappy and rude if you can even get them to respond d to you. The kid who just took my order didn't say 1 word so I just assumed he wanted my drink order. He didn't look at me once. If you can avoid this branch do so! I don't know why i keep going back to this starbucks, i suppose because of location, but everytime ive gone in i've been pretty unsatisfied. The staff are friendly and almost overly obniouxious, but i guess most starbucks employees are. One time i was super hungover and my cashier repeated "venti chai latte" to me in the loudest most annoying "starbucks voice" possible quite litterally 8 times in 30 seconds. I wanted to punch him in the face but i guess i can't knock on him for just being friendly. It was definately overdoing it but i guess its the price i get for attempting to venture into the world after a night of drinking. But on more than one visit their drinks have actually given me the poops which makes me wonder if they were using the freshest of ingredients. Ive had to tell my job that i needa be left alone for about 20 minutes. I left the possibility that it was another factor that caused it but because its happened a few times, i keep a bottle of pepto at work for everytime i get coffee. I understand they are a pretty busy location but i have never waited longer in my life for coffee before. Watching the girls makes the drinks i sit there and wonder if there is anyway they can go any slower. Ive been to way busy coffee shops before and its never taken anyone that long to make a drink. Ive also gotten weird attitudes from some people there, not everyone, but some. One girl actually got her manager to "deal" with me, as i used to do that all the time at jobs when i was dealing with an unruly customer... however i had no idea where it came from as i was perfectly pleasant and greeted her with a kind hello. How can I have not reviewed this starbucks yet? I thought I did and come to find that I hadn't yet... But this is probably, yet another one of my favorite starbucks due to their impeccable customer service. Everytime they offer great customer service but I would like to give the two examples that give this starbucks 5 stars! Example #1: A few years ago during my partying phase and a long night in walnut creek, I had to drive my friends from dub c to b wood after stopping about 8 times for multiple girls to puke out my car door. Needless to say my would have been 35 minute commute turned into 2 hours. After FINALLY dropping them off I figured I would stop at starbucks at 3:30am for a little pick me up. I must have looked like a complete disaster or something because the girl in the window gave me my frappacino on the house! It totally made my night (or would it be morning?) but I do appreciate that good karma came back to me. Example #2: Tonight the bf wanted a smoothie from jambajuice and because I was being a complete lazy bum I made him late to jamba by 9 minutes. So we walk to the next best thing that would have been starbucks. I dont know why the bf was so thrown off but he went in complete zombie mode and ordered an iced caramel macchiatto (a drink Ive never heard him order before). As we were walking out to our cars he says "this frappacino tastes weird" and I was like "well babe, it's cause you ordered a macchiatto" haha. So.... I voluntarily took the bullet for him and walked back into starbucks with his half drunken drink and asked for a frappaccino. Guy behind the counter not only made the frappaccino (with extra caramel and soy) he didn't charge me for it either. Frickin awesome! I made sure to tip them because it was very nice to have him fix the drink even though it was the customer's mistake. So thank you starbucks at Slatten Ranch for providing consistent and awesome customer service! But yes they are open 24 hours, have plenty indoor and outdoor seating (on some nights it tends to be busy with high schoolers so if you want to avoid the crowd get your drink to go), a drive thru, plenty of parking and nearby shopping... this location is def prime and right by the freeway. read more

I'm not a "daily" but I do chug down my share of frappucinos. Given that this location is close to my regular shopping hood and it offers drive-thru, I'm a sucker. The staff is always nice but they do lose a star based on two factors: 1. No Breakfast Sandwiches because they don't have the warming equipment. 2. It's a little hard to communicate with the staff via the drive-thru (i.e. have to repeat order up to three times before they get it down). I'll still keep coming due to it's convenient location but they really have to work on some things. read more

I went through the drive through and ordered a passion loaf cake and i received a pumpkin creme cheese cake thing.. the drive through line was ridiculously long so i walked in.. The line in there was pretty long too and i didnt want to wait in it.. but it took forever and me basically having to wave my arms to get one of them to actually speak to and acknowledge me (even though i was at the counter with the bag and the drive through person glanced at me) I got a quick sorry and they gave me my correct cake.. however i have frequented this starbucks (i used to work a few doors over.. its always mediocre service) and i have personally seen other ppl come in angry about their wrong orders.. and they were given a coupon for a free drink.. i got nothing after waiting in the drive through for over 15 minutes and then having to walk inside anyways... i dont mean to be racial but i honestly feel that that is because of my race... why do i get nothing for my wasted time but others do? read more

Specifically asked which size was 8oz. because my son's bottle holds 8oz. Got told it was the short size. Ordered a short whole milk. Poured it into my son's bottle. Not even 4oz. The cup wasn't full so of course his bottle wasn't full. Asked if they still had pumpkin spice. They say yes. Ordered my husband a pumpkin spice latte. And he gets just a regular latte. I try not to stop at this location if I can help it. This location is convenient, but there are several things that ruin the Starbucks experience for the customer. There is a lack of attention to detail of orders, an absence of pleasant customer service, and flavorless Frappuccinos. My mom and I stopped by this location and do often to pick us up some Starbucks for on the way home. We did not mind the wait because we know that everyone is coming in the drive through right now, but we were disappointed by the attitude of the workers. We had forgotten to order one tall caramel frap on accident and when we got to the window and asked if it was too much trouble to add it they complained and had an attitude with her. And then proceeded to hand us that exact drink before one of the others were even done yet...so it obviously wasn't too hard. The other guy standing there was like " stay healthy " with a lot of attitude and we weren't even leaving yet. If you guys don't want to be at work I heard you've been given the option to stay home, or a three dollar raise to work right now. I am unemployed. So it is extremely frustrating to keep getting an attitude from people who are currently still able to be employed. Figure out how to do customer service. read more

Workers are nice but drinks are horrible. My boyfriend got a Frappuccino and there was a huge block of ice in it, I got an iced cinnamon dolce latte (not the first time I've had it) and it was so terribly made I couldn't drink more than one sip I went to the Starbucks by Safeway to get it replaced. Given its location, this Starbucks is one of the busiest in the area which is pretty impressive considering just how many Starbucks you'll see on a stretch of Lone Tree. (Seriously, do we have nothing better to do in East County? Well, now that I ask that of myself, no, we don't....) I tend to stop by whenever I'm in the area and there's always a good chance that there's a large line, especially in the drive through. I'm talking spilling well over into the Carino's parking lot and then some. It really doesn't matter what time or day of the week, either. I've seen it busy on weekday mornings and afternoons. Seriously, just don't even try on weekend mornings -- want a cup of coffee while you shop or before/after church? Guess what? EVERYONE IN EAST COUNTY HAS THE SAME IDEA, or that's what it seems like. Generally, if the drive thru is filled, for most places you'd figure that the walk in would be faster. You'd be wrong -- walk in is often just as bad and then you have to deal with the fun of getting out of your parking stall later. Aside from it's busy-ness, it's average as far as Starbucks go. Service is fine. I've had them get my order wrong in the past but not nearly as bad as some reviews would have you believe. read more

Five stars because Shell is an awesome manager with great customer service! She really went out of her way to help with the military care packages I'm doing for my husbands unit that is overseas for the next 9 months. The drive thru can be a bit long at times and one time my drink was wrong but that is no need to knock any stars... Things go wrong here and there at any location. Lexi at this location is extremely rude and unprofessional. I was being assisted in the drive thru, (which I visit every single morning) by a very sweet girl I wish I got her name. She asked this Lexi character a question and Lexi goes off in a rampage talking smack a out how her time isn't going to be wasted and so forth. If you can't handle the pressure of a coffee house go find another job! I heard everything she said and she was completely out of line and unprofessional.
