I have been visiting the Combie Starbuck's location nearly daily the last 9 years and have seen great employees come and go. Recently I broke my back and was laid up in the hospital over 25 miles away, and constantly craved my iced coffee, until a week into my stay when in walked Nate Coffman with 2 iced coffees. Nate has always been happy go lucky Starbuck's employee who would come by our coffee table in the morning providing refills and laughter. I was so stunned and so happy to see him!!! It was such an enormous gesture of kindness and customer commitment I have ever seen with any business, and I would love to see company's reward their employees who go way above and beyond like this... In this fast paced world, it seems really customer service is a thing of the past, but Nate took it to a whole new level and I am so thankful!!!! Gets my order wrong every single time. I've given it well over. Forgets extra instructions that they charge me for every single time!! all I asked for is sweet cream cold foam, and they forget every single time on top of that the drink is usually missing ingredients like somebody's not making it right because I go to a different locations and it tastes the same every time. This is the only location that seems to mess it up every single time even when they do give me the cold foam sometimes it's missing like a sweetener or something. I could just tell something off with the drink and I know this because my best friend used to work at Starbucks a year and a half ago the one in Colfax and even she tasted the drink and was like, yeah, that's not right. I have never dealt with anything like this now I just take the extra time to drive to Dutch Bros. I just thought the Starbucks was convenient because I moved in the lake the Pines a few months ago. read more

Everyone who leaves a one star goes "i've been coming here for years no issue". Which means to me that they're never the person to leave a 5 star when things go well. Those people shouldn't be allowed to have yelp because it's biased in my opinion lol but whatever. I always enjoy coming here, they're always so nice! I've never had my stuff made wrong, but even if I did I wouldn't be too bothered lol. There was one time, if I remember right ,someone came in and took all of the mobile order food, so I had to wait. Literally not a problem, not their fault, if anything it sucks they had to remake everything and probably deal with some unruly adult children about it. We all know what to expect at Starbucks. Average coffee, pleasant service and fairly clean bathrooms. I used to go to this location because it was on my commute and it was always as expected. I went back today after not being here for two years, but today I didn't get anything near average. I assumed I knew the ingredients in a pumpkin spice latte, but today, no pumpkin, no spice, no coffee. I think it might have been cardboard and warm milk. My warmed pastry wasn't and when I asked to have it re-warmed, the eye roll was audible. I mainly went so I could pick up my email, but now when you wish to use the wi-fi, they want your first name, last name, email address and phone number. Rather than give all that up, I used my cell hotspot. I am not going back. There are so many lovely local coffee spots, I just have to drive a bit further. read more

I have been coming to this Starbucks for the last 2 1/2 years because it is the only one near my work. I have never experienced customer service as bad as this Starbucks anywhere. The employees aren't just unhelpful, they are consistently rude, inattentive and unprofessional. 05/12: update from awhile ago, tried going back to this place and everyone here moved so slow!!! Went inside and they are just in their own time. It's a wonder why they keep getting new people. No one inside ordering. Takes 15 minutes and On top of that, drink isn't even full. Horrible place. They only get a star because yelp makes you pick one. This place is horrible. The employees are slow and the manager lady is rude. It literally takes 20 minutes in the drive thru line for 1-3 cars tops. The wait is always so long and sometimes the coffee tastes burnt. I'm. It sure what's going on there but I would suggest going to the other auburn Starbucks instead. We frequent Starbucks daily and this is the only one we have a problem with. Poor management possibly?? It takes a lot for me to write a review on something. I've been to a lot of horrible starbucks locations, because most of them are so poorly run. But man, does this one take the cake. Want to sit in your car for *literally * 25 minutes? Go through their drive-thru! Want to wait 15 minutes for an iced coffee? Go inside! There's usually 5 people standing around talking while you stare around the empty store, doing everything except making the coffee you paid for :) Have something in mind that you really, really want? There's a 99.9% chance they're out of it. It blows me away that they somehow screw up my unbelievably easy drink *every* time I've come in here. By the time I get it, I just leave and say screw it because I've likely already been waiting for 20 minutes and I'd rather not wait 20 minutes more for them to have to dump pre-made iced coffee over some ice. This is the panini that I paid for today. Basically just some bread with a piece of tomato and a piece of basil. The drink I brought home tastes awful. I genuinely don't understand how someone can mess up an unsweetened black iced coffee, but congratulations. This tastes like cleaning products. I feel like you have to try really hard to be this bad. Do us all a favor and close this place down. Calling it a disappointment is an understatement. read more

So I'm on my way to work. I pull up at Starbucks on the corner of Combie Rd and the 49. Normally when I come here I go in. Today I wanted to try the drive through. So I pull in to the window cause it's 5:23am and no one is here yet only to see a mature woman with glasses giving me he stank eye through the window. After a few of those I determined they aren't open yet. Ok, no problem I understand. Here's my problem and why I'm giving this location one star. They are in the hospitality business. Why not be hospitable??? It's not that hard to just point at your watch and smile. The lady that gave me the look was at least in her 40's and should know better. As I age I'm growing less and less tolerant of this behavior. Being friendly and hospitable will bring people like me in the doors with my wallet open. I ended up waiting because it was early and I want my coffee. I decided to go in and was greeted by a very friendly young lady, who is undoubtedly a driver of business for this location. I'm grateful to her for being professional and friendly. I'm still giving this place one star because of my first impression though. read more

Absolutely the filthiest Starbucks I've ever been in. Counters, floors, tables, chairs, and bathroom; all covered with trash grime and slime . I counted 4 employees and two patrons, including myself. There's an older lady that works there, when I went for my coffee this morning the new girl forgot my drink, which is fine, I let the older lady know. This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. The espresso tastes like the water has been run through the same grounds more than once (it's almost burned). They never, ever get my order right. Sometimes I got milk in my latte when I ask for soy, sometimes I get regular chocolate when I ask for white chocolate. It almost seems like they just pick and choose what they are going to give you. I have been going to this Starbucks since July (because I got a job right down the street) and today is my last day. I will go out of my way to go to another coffee place. If it weren't for the staff of this particular store we wouldn't shop CVS at all. We used to live near here and had to use the pharmacy frequently. Plus it was the only decent store nearby for drugstore type items. We have moved and have had to use the local CVS on several occasions. Customer service at the closer CVS is terrible at best. We actually have our physician send our prescriptions and refills to the old CVS whenever possible because we prefer the staff that much. Use the CVS rewards card. I hate this Starbucks! Every time I go there my drink or food order is wrong. My husband frequently will grab coffee for both of us and bring it home and my drink always tastes either watered down or way too strong and it's not just a 2 or 3 minute drive for me to go back and get it fixed so typically I just end up throwing my drink away. What a waste! The one time I was fed up and decided to drive all the way back, I was offered nothing not even an apology.
