Girl taking my order seemed irritated that I ordered secret menu items. Kept rushing me and I kept having to say that I wasn't finished ordering, which I was ordering 9 items. I repeated over and over that 2 items were no whip cream. The girl asked if the order looked correct, she read it back, all was correct. Got to the window, and the drinks had whip. She had already handed them in my car, in a tray of several drinks. I mentioned that they were supposed to be no whip- she asked for the drinks back. I handed them back and she checked the label- no apology no words or customer service she simply closed the window. Came back several minutes later and handed me the drinks. There are healthy selections of sandwiches, breakfast items as well as Hit the Spot treats and seasonal favorites. Stoped for a quick breakfast on the way to Vegas. Please to say The line was quick to move. ordered a couple of grill cheese sandwiches well done. Why the low ratings??? We should be grateful there's a Starbucks WITH a drive-thru. It's such a convenience for us folks traveling from Vegas to Cali and vice versa. This stop is like my final stretch before I'm finally home to my sweet beloved LA. Easily located off the 15 fwy E Main St exit....it's a great stop to stretch your legs, take a bathroom break and get some delicious coffee drinks!! Only reason why I knocked it off one star is because sometimes it CAN get a bit crowded and it CAN take a bit slow to get your drink. But all in all....it's really a 4 1/2 star rating for me. They were still cheerful and friendly even though entitled customers were being rude and complaining and holding their time up during this rush. Close to the highway, this Starbucks is large inside with lots of tables and plenty of room to sit. The configuration of the tables is a bit odd because it blocks off the natural flow of the line to the cashier, but otherwise the atmosphere is pleasant. The baristas were friendly and our drinks came out in a decent amount of time. We each got a little bite to eat and the food seemed fresh. If you find yourself in Barstow and craving a coffee, this Starbucks will help you out. TIP: They have a drive-thru!! read more

Super small parking lot, so probably would be best to park your car and head in, plus, if you're on a road trip it's a nice place to stop and take a bathroom break! Personally, the women's restroom was clean and hardly anyone was ever in it. My boyfriend said the men's restroom was the complete opposite, and I believe him because I have never seen anyone run out of a bathroom so fast. The baristas here are always so nice and friendly, even considering the fact that this has to be one of the busiest Starbucks in the world. There's usually a line, but it moves rather fast. Corporate needs to fix this place. Do not go inside to use bathroom. You will gag. Everyone uses as a bathroom stop on route or back from Vegas and the staff here do not clean regularly. As a local, keep driving, or the Del Taco nearby is clean. Good food and service there too. Please check your order they never get it right and forget to put things you ordered in the bag. If they get it wrong careful how you approach staff--- cause you definitely asked for it that way. Attitude galore from staff here. 50% of the time they are out. Egg for breakfast sandwich-out. I live in city and in last 6 months I have spoken to manager about how bad they are at ordering. Almond milk lasts longer than regular milk and has a 7 day shelf life after opening. Maybe the morning crew is better. I stopped in at 3:10 in the afternoon. The place was full of people. Half were waiting for their drinks, the other half were eating food from other restaurants (Burger King, Subway...). I've been to a lot of coffee shops and I have never seen this many people waiting for drinks. You can tell this place caters to the drive through. The inside wait was insanely long. It is just off the freeway, which was nice, but it was understaffed and slow. The restrooms were disgusting. You'd be better off going to the Barstow Station across the street, they do a better job of cleaning. The drink was okay, but they were out of the long straws (great inventory management) so it was a little tough to drink it all. Next time I'll make sure to stop at the Starbucks on the South end of Barstow instead. read more

Very busy the day we went in on Black Friday on our was to Vegas around 4pm . The costumer service was nice but I wish I would've took a sip before driving off. 5 drinks went to the trash didn't taste good . They need to make sure they do the drinks right even if it would've took a little longer. Then wanting to go to the restroom like on anyone would on a road trip .. theres no toilet paper or seat covers disgusting!!! Nothing sanitary about that. So, I love chocolate chip cookies! I usually go to the location in victorville on Valley center Drive, where they are always clean, friendly and knows how to warm up cookies! I waited 20 minutes...."yes 20 minutes for those who can't hear me in the back !" I ordered 3 warmed up cookies and a non-fat milk ! Only for Mr. Belvidere to heat them up so long they were literally turning into rocks as I waited on my milk! I had finally received my milk (which I did not wait at the wait table, it was filthy....a rag and water after each customer would do the trick...SHEESH..."You guys have one freaking job to do during covid....STAY SANITARY ‍) Anywho, that kinda made my stomach turn, plus my cookies were asteroids by then! I requested to receive a new set, warmed up lightly! Expect vagrants and heavy consumer traffic if you also want to take advantage of the motorists who need caffeine and kids buying cake pops! * The furniture is filthy. Again; vagrants and heavy motorist traffic. Yet AGAIN--this is the expectation. I know these Starbucks franchises aren't cheap (around $1.5MM average per one?)-- so plan your logistics accordingly. * They built this thing with one bathroom. Sorry; part of the appeal of Starbucks when you're traveling is the promise of a clean and well stocked bathroom. Limiting the floor plan to one stall and one urinal is BS. THIS is why your expensive franchise location gets a lackluster review, so don't even think of taking it out on your employees.
