Drinks always come out different. Mobile orders takes a long time to get because they hold your order behind plexiglass so the customer has to wait for a busy employee to notice you and give you your order. Had to wait over 10 minutes to get my order that was already done. This Starbucks needs more employees or better management. read more

One star only because I couldn't leave zero... One of the dirtiest Starbucks locations I have ever been to. There are flies and trash laying about on the tables. Also, lots of visible dust. Three people who ordered after me were served before me and so I had to ask the girl at the register if my drink had been possibly lost. I ordered a peach green tea...it came with something floating in it...the barista told me they make their hibiscus tea in the same cup...and it must have been in there from the drink before, so I'm guessing they didn't rinse it out between beverages...but they gladly made me a fresh drink... Definitely don't recommend this store. It's a shame because it's in a convenient location to the freeway. read more

Long waits here. This is a busy stop from people at the gas station next door on the way to Las Vegas. There are comfortable chairs - I've tried them out for an extended period of time back in '14 when I had some car issues. From the times I've been - its a regular stop for me - its always busy. One would think extra help during the busy hours could be found. Its such that I would rather buy my coffee from McDonalds across the street.. but if it is an odd hour and I'm at the gas station next door I wouldn't hesitate to go in if the visual check ahead of time shows a smaller line. Once you do get your coffee... I've had smoothies and plain coffee here only - its perfect. It is worth the wait if you are a die hard fan of Starbucks. This is the most DISGUSTING Starbucks I have ever been to. I can't even believe the health department hasn't shut it down. The floor, the sink they dip the blender lid and everything else into, the bathrooms, the staff even! EVERYTHING is filthy!! I can't believe how bad management is to allow such an embarrassment. Pretty standard Starbucks. This location is in Barstow. It is a great halfway point between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. This Starbucks shares a parking lot with a 76 gas station so fill up while you're here. Came at 4 pm on a Sunday. This place was packed. The line almost reached the door. My main complaint is that service was exceptionally slow for a Starbucks. They were not efficient. I guess since it's the only one around they don't have the incentive. They otherwise offer a decent amount of tables for working. Lots of Windows so this place is nice and bright. Other nearby eateries include Panda Express, McDonald's, Popeyes. Overall not a bad place to get your Starbucks but expect a wait if there are a lot of people. read more

Wait time was ok, no one in line. But - my venti passion tea - sweet wasn't shaken (mixed). So all the sugar was at the bottom. You can imagine going from tart to sweet in one long draw of the straw - ok, ok, it does sound funny - but below par for Starbucks. Starbucks needs to either sell this location or ditch current management. Bathrooms were filthy. I stopped at 3:30, and I doubt they had been cleaned since last night, if then. Store smelled rancid. To me, walking into Starbucks means fragrance of good coffee. This one smelled like sour rags. I ordered and paid on the app. They were terribly disorganized. Took 15 minutes to get a plain coffee. So much for "going to the head of the line", the message the app gives you. If you're on the road between Vegas and LA, keep driving past this Starbucks. I did a mobile order and got it about 25 minutes later. Considering I ordered a simple pumpkin cold brew, it shouldn't have taken more than 10 to make and in-app it says 3-6 min prep time. After ordering I arrived at the store about 15 minutes later, plenty of time for them to have made the order. Then when I asked the barista if my order was ready she gave me attitude and told me no. So I wait about 15 more minutes and she finally gave me my cold brew by slamming it down onto the counter. She left my cup all gross and sticky with a bunch of cream sitting on top of the lid. I waited for over ten minutes before anyone even came to the register and they had five workers. No apology for the wait. I order my drink and then had to wait over another ten minutes for my drink. It was sticky and tastes awful. I had to throw it away. Additionally, the place is dirty, overcrowded, hard to get in and out of, and the staff that could have been helping was out talking to the manager in the seating area for over ten minutes.
