Newly opened and ready for all you table campers. This location is really spacious as far as 'bucks go and holds a surprisingly large number of full sized and community tables where you could comfortably set up with your study buddies, meet with clients or park your rugrats. It's certainly not a quiet place to hang out and I suspect it will get packed as the locals start frequenting it. I know I'll be dropping by. Tips - the parking lot fills up quickly but there's plenty of street parking in the neighborhood. Bonus - the fire station is next door and where there's a fire station, there are thirsty firemen who love Starbucks. ;-) read more

What a lovely Starbucks. It's brand new, just opened 3 or so days ago I think. It is so pretty, clean, modern, and spacious. Would be a great location for a date, imo. I especially love the open patio bar overlooking the Verdugo/Olive intersection. The barista who served me was very sweet and the Vanilla Bean Frapp I ordered is delicious. :-) It's got a well-lit private lot, as well as a couple other shopping centers with giant lots in the vicinity, which makes for very easy parking. Can't wait to come back. It's by far the prettiest Starbucks in Burbank. read more

The service here is usually unremarkable (that is to say not good, not bad) but on this morning she seemed to be in a not so good mood. She wasn't mean, but she seemed to be in a hurry and not care. The real kicker though and what prompted this review is the quality of my London Fog - it tasted like dirty water which may have been because I got it with three shots of espresso and did not adjust the number of Vanilla shots - all fine and well, I could live with it and i've had worse. What sucked was there was no milk foam. Why no milk foam? Now here's where I bring it back full circle - the woman in the not-so-great mood is the person that put the lid and handed me my drink. I am liking this store more and more. It is spacious with a nice hipster-y feel and decor. All of the baristas that have helped me have been super nice. I had to go back once for a mess-up in my drink of that morning, and they were so polite about it, and credited my card back. I like the fact that they did it in a nice way and not the business way. And, I love that there is always parking early in the morning as people are in and out, and not hanging. I would say go and visit, but then would you be crowding my space?! Ha ha! read more

Soooooo... me and my family just came in about 30 minutes to closing. I've worked food and retail so I know how annoying that is. My family is huge so.... 10 drinks at the same time. I am sorry for the employees, Heather and another guy working with her. Even though we came so late and with such a big party, they didn't make a fuss about us coming in and made our drinks really fast and served us with no problem. I appreciate service like this! I've come to this Starbucks most week days the past month or two. The people are nice. I see them constantly going out of their way to make the experience special for guests (asking if drinks taste right, offering to remake drinks, etc). Also, there is ample seating, and plug-ins. The bathroom doesn't require a code which is nice because I always hate asking for that. The place is pretty clean without issues. I've been to a lot of Starbucks along the West Coast and this one is a good one. Great cafe to people watch and sketch. read more

So I don't go to Starbucks often but when I do, this is the location closest to my house. Today I was out, record breaking heat wave this week. Jin took my order, she was friendly and pleasant. I ordered a medium size Frappuccino, sorry, not sure of the proper Starbucks name. Anyways, when I got my drink, it was left on the counter, and since I don't come here often, I wasn't sure if what I got was the right size, I looked around for the sample size cup but didn't see any, so I asked this girl with a "knit" hat on, she said yes and also made a rude comment..."maybe you need your eyes checked." Ordered a coffee frappe. The barista gave me a caramel frappe. I went up and just kindly said, "Hi - I ordered a coffee frappe, and I think this may be a caramel frappe." She gave me a very rude glare, looked me up and down, and said "I didn't put any caramel in that." I said "Okay, well it just doesn't taste right." She said, "Well sorry." Excuse me? I'm nicely addressing an issue with my $5 drink, and you're being rude for no reason. She didn't offer to remake it or anything. Maybe it was just an off day but watered down ice americanos that look like tea aren't so hot. That was the 2nd order. My first order was cold brew with a little bit of almond milk; instead what I received was a venti cup of almond milk with what looked to be a shot of cold brew. Luxury problem but pretty annoying nonetheless. Are the baristas told to fill up with water and other other liquids when running low on a certain cold coffee? Usually, you grab and go, which is the whole point of a mobile order, but don't forget to check that you can actually can eat your food BEFORE you leave the store! Out of the many Starbucks I've been to in my life, this one is one of the better ones. Pros: the line tends to move quickly (even during the rushes), the baristas are friendly and accommodating, there's a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, & there are some quirky characters (keeps things interesting) Cons: the indoor seating tends to fill up as early as 3pm & the bathrooms tend to be pretty dirty more often than clean Overall, I vouch for this spot because whenever I work here, I stay focused - as long as I can grab that one last seat! P.S. My friend reading this over my shoulder adds, "Beware the flood of high-schoolers at 2:30pm every day during the school year. There are a lot of them. This Burbank Starbuck's isn't my favorite because the parking situation is terrible. It's a huge coffeehouse hangout with a tiny cramped parking lot. ArrggghhhH. I went in for the seasonal Pumpkin Spice Iced Coffee. However, standing in line I got excited to try the Chile Mocha Iced Coffee. A whole brand new seasonal addition. It was a complete disappointment. The chile was sprinkled on top of mocha iced coffee. The flavors stood boldly apart. Maybe, it's a better drink hot. Not sure if I'll try it. This Starbucks has plenty of seats and good AC but very little parking. It also has a weird left turn lane off the street. For some reason it hasn't been too crowded during my visits. Inside and outside seats available. Floor could use a sweeping. Staff is busy and helpful. read more

The staff at this new location are extremely rude and rip off customers by overcharging for the coffee drinks. I ordered a triple expresso with one shot of vanilla and was overcharged three dollars for the same drink that every other Starbucks has charged only 2.45.When I pointed out that they were ringing up the drink wrong and there was a mistake, they said they would "take it under consideration" with a smug smile. Then one of their employees actually came up to me and told me not to complain, when I said I would report it to management, and that I shouldn't "talk down to people." Very few people there for a Sunday morning, despite a good location. It's easy to see why. The staff are rude, they overcharge their customers, and they don't care whether or not you are satisfied with their service. read more

I frequent this Starbucks because it is in walking distance of my house and I have been to it at least 10 times. So I have given them plenty of chances to be a better Starbucks. Let's start with the positive about this location. The atmosphere is really nice! (This is pretty much why I am giving them two stars and not one) The outside area is super nice and there is a ton of seating inside and out! They also have a lot of different kinds of seating which I really like. They have couches, benches, stools, and wooden seats. I love choice! It is also very clean and I like the fresh flowers. Now for the icky part... The customer service is terrible. Here are some things I have experienced while going there... 1. Half of the time my order is wrong. Actually probably more than half the time. 2. I get harassed, scrutinized, heavily questioned, or denied when I go to order a refill of plain coffee on a latte. (The employees should really know their company policies before they are rude to a costumer.) 3. Several times an employee has been negative to me for no reason or told how much their life sucks. Sorry I don't want to hear your sob stories when I'm trying to order a coffee. 4. I've been ignored by 3 employees at once while they throw themselves at a male customer. I get it. We all need to flirt some times but it shouldn't come at the cost of ignoring a line of people and giving bad customer service. Not to mention that they are often slow, untrained, and a hot mess in general. I now often find myself driving to the Alameda location instead of walking to this one because I have never had a bad experience there and their customer service generally rocks. read more

Alright, I'm gonna call it, this is hands down the worst Starbucks in the chain. It's not that the drinks are bad or anything, it's the poor service and mismanagement that makes this such a bad place. I have literally walked out of this store on 4 separate occasions now. To put this into perspective, not counting this particular Starbucks, I think I have walked out of 5 places in my entire life, yet I have walked out of this Starbucks on 4 separate occasions. The first 2 times I walked out of this store it was because the lines were too long and the employees were moving at the speed of stop. The third time I walked out, the line to order wasn't long, but there were a buttload of cups lined up for drinks that were waiting to be made. I asked how long it would be and they told me 15 minutes. I had to get back to work and couldn't afford that long of a wait. The fourth time I walked out was today. Even though they had ads for their pumpkin spice latte everywhere in the store, they were out of it. It's sad that this place is so bad though, because this area definitely needs a good Starbucks and the store is actually VERY nice. I would actually go so far as to say that from a strictly aesthetic perspective it is the nicest Starbucks I have ever seen. Lots of seats, lots of outlets for the geeks wanting to use the free internet, lots of space, good lighting, very nice outside patio, this place could be awesome. But I don't want to spend my entire lunch hour waiting for a drink and if I am going to spend $5 for a coffee, I think I should be able to get the drink that I want and not just what they have left. I know it is a relatively new store and maybe they are still working out the kinks. Perhaps in a few months I'll give it another try, but in the meantime it is actually faster to drive 3 miles to go to another store. read more

This is so far a 5 star Starbucks. I was so excited that this location opened it's the only Starbucks that is convenient on my commute to work. The store is very large, has ample seating and a great patio area. The store is new so you never know what it will actually be like, but so far the staff is friendly and efficient. So far I've been in and out fairly quickly which I am so thankful for! Side note: the location and set up suggest that it would have a drive thru but it doesn't. However behind the store there is a really good sized parking lot, I've found parking quickly every time I've gone to this location. Happy Starbucks-ing! read more

Dear Katie (Store Manger), On Saturdays I run with a team of about 20 people around Burbank and end at your Starbucks. Typically 10 to16 of my team members form up in line to purchase a beverage from your store at the end of the run. Especially during the recent summer heat, some of our runners also ask for glasses of ice water to go with their coffee. EVERY Saturday at least 2 people then complain to me about your barista Louis. He is snobby, dismissive and rude to anyone who asks for water or an adjustment to their drink. I understand that Saturday mornings between 9 and 11 are your busiest hours, however isn't customer service / satisfaction one of your company goals (http://www.starbucks.com/responsibility/global-report)? I remember when Starbucks was considered pretentious, but in recent years your company has taken great lengths to foster a more welcoming environment (http://www.starbucks.com/about-us/our-heritage). It's a Starbucks so there isn't anything to say about the drinks or food - same 'ol, same 'ol. The big draw to this newly opened location is the interior. It's huge. Lots of seating. It's a gorgeous space. There's a private lot in the back, but it can be a nightmare during peak hours. Long lines. It just opened so be patient with anyone that is still training. They're still mastering their multi-tasking skills, so don't rattle off your drink order too fast! ;) read more

This store is ridiculous! I live in the neighborhood and have TRIED to get my coffee here on 4 different occasions... 3 of which I left before I reached the register because the wait was upwards of 20 minutes. Unacceptable! This is one of the largest Starbucks stores but it has, hands down, the WORST service I've ever seen. They only operate one register, even though they have two. And they only have one barista making drinks while the rest of the crew stand around and count how many patrons are waiting on line. Seriously? What's wrong with this store? I was excited when they opened because I enjoy Starbucks... but I hate this store. All I ever do is waste time waiting. Plus the whole place is constantly overrun with high school kids, yuck. I'll stick to my favorite Starbucks store over on Alameda (in the Pavilions shopping center), their staff is fantastic; fast and always friendly. Probably my favorite Starbucks that I have been to so far. It is large, with many places to sit inside and on the patio. Wonderful service; the cashier noticed that I got coconut milk with my drink and made a note to tell me that Starbucks is going to be adding almond milk to their dairy alternatives by the end of the month, yay!! My drink was made well and came out quick. I just wish the Starbucks closer to my house was as great as this one. read more
