As most of you who know me, I am not much of a coffee drinker. I do like coffee, mostly latte, but unfortunately it gives me a lot of different type of problems: from upset stomach to bad anxiety. So coffee and I are not really friends:-) Let me not forget to say; not all Starbucks's are alike. Location, hours, parking, service, baristas, and so fourth. Earlier tonight my friend & I went to have coffee and I really had to write this review by saying how much I enjoyed my Pumpkin Spice Latte with Oat milk. (DECAF,) the service is always on point! I have only been to this location maybe 5 or 6 times and never had a problem. We both had the same thing. Since the Pumpkin Spice latte is a seasonal item on the menu, we wanted to have that. It was made to PERFECTION!! They also serve pastries & sandwiches. ALL types of coffee and merchandise. Plenty of parking spaces, shared with Bob's Big Boy restaurant. Indoor & outdoor patio seating. Place is nice, clean, welcoming with pretty smiles. I guess I will have my Pumpkin Spice Latte with Oat or Almond milk next time around the Holidays!:-) Shout out to Elijah & Luther. Luther Jackson is the Store Manager of this fantastic Starbucks closest to the Warner Bros Studios, and quaint city of Toluca Lake. Luther Jackson really cares about his customers and his employees. He is the type of leader who will step in and help take out the trash, or hop on a register if the line is long. The crew here is well trained, and in the new year Luther has made it a point to have at least three employees behind the lines. Whether it be at the Barista Cappuccino Machine, or at the toaster oven making breakfast sandwiches and egg bites or at the TOGO COUNTER putting your drinks in order by name either A-G, H-M or N-Z. Noah B. works hard to have everything sanitized, I even seen this cool kid wiping down the walls! John is friendly at the register in the afternoon/evening shift, ask him how college is going, or JANETTE (SP?) for your morning shift, silent but friendly and she is a master of stocking your favorite mugs--(if only CORPORATE WOULD SEND THEM MORE THAN 4 HOLIDAY MUGS--they would definitely do better sales, but they NEED the SUPPLIES to SELL) or working behind the barista station making your drink perfectly, or being a friendly face I the morning. Alex is providing good service running behind the counter, he must put in 4 miles a shift walking. They will remember your name here, and sometimes your drink order, but whenever I visit this area, this is my favorite Starbucks. (Right Next to BOBS BIG boy and it is crowded here on FRIDAY Nights due to the CLASSIC Car show, otherwise you can easily find free parking here). Ask Luther, when he will run in the LA Marathon again, and that should make him laugh and smile! Great customer service here! And if they do not make your drink perfect ask them (kindly) to remake it. I mean you are probably paying $6.45 for it! The three price increases in 2025, keep me from coming everyday, but I do splurge once a week now on SB. Sometimes you will see a celebrity from THE MIDDLE, or GOLDBERGS, or NEW GIRL, because they come here as well as the WARNER BROS ANIMATION WRITING STAFF and TELEVISION STAFF. They have a cork board, so if you are an artist or animator looking for work, put your business card on the cork board. I do know someone who got hired on WB ANIMATED SERIES HARLEY QUINN by doing that. The ambiance here is chill as the manager lets a crew member pick the music to listen to. You could be listening to LIAMS favorite, THE SMITHS or DEPECHE MODE, or LUTHERS "A LOVELY DAY" mix, or Michael Jackson, or Prince, The music is low enough that you can enjoy a conversation for a meeting with your favorite coffee friend! read more

I have to say, I'm not a regular Starbucks customer, I usually prefer independent coffee shops. However, I really like this location. The baristas are friendly, there is almost never a line to wait in, and my coffee is consistently good. I think it has a nice local community vibe. I've had bad experiences with Pricillas Coffee which is across the street, and this Starbucks has been my new go to. They are also accommodating with dogs (unlike Pricillas Coffee), and my boy loves a pup cup! read more

Set the scene: I have been coming to this Starbucks on and off for years when I am in the area. It really does just get better each time. I was here the first day the store opened and remember it being such a nice location. Since then, they have completely renovated the interior and it is so much brighter and spacious. They did a really great job! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, with plenty of room for ordering and pick-up. The mobile ordering is also great so whether you want to hang out or just pick-up, this location would be a great one for it. Now for the reason you would come to Starbucks, the coffee! The coffee (and tea and food) has always been consistent here for me. I haven't had issues with my drink getting messed up and they always are made right, even when there is a rush. Quality coffee and pretty efficient service, can't complain! The baristas are great! Some of them have been here for a long time and they really do make the experience great. It's frustrating for customers when your employees take the front parking spaces day after day. Please consider requiring employees to park in the back lot during their 6-8 hour shifts. If front spaces continue to be unavailable due to employee parking, some customers may choose to go to another location. read more

Oh man. What happened to this Starbucks. This used to be THE spot for writers and creatives. The furniture was comfy. The vibes were immaculate. The food was good and not in a plastic bag. The only thing good about this place is the staff, they're incredibly nice and accommodating. Especially the manager, if I had a manager like that when I was working as a barista I woulda been slightly less depressed in college. But that's it. Everything else about this place is just bad. The drink quality is super subpar. They replaced the furniture with hard uncomfortable chairs. The tables are tiny. The place is so bright. It feels like a bank, not a chill coffee shop. I have been to a dozen other Starbucks in the LA area in the past year and this one by far has the coldest corporate feeling interior and the exterior is like weirdly uncomfortable and brutalist. I know this is likely for efficiency. It gets people in and out of the door so they make more money for the shareholders. But it's a shame because this place is so popular, but completely stripped of its character. You would think with this Starbucks being one of the busiest in LA that they would want to make it great. But they don't. It's bad enough a drink costs $7, it's still annoying they charge for Almond Milk, but it just sucks... you can't even enjoy it in a nice place. Just get it and get out. read more

There are about five Starbucks within a half mile of here, but it's by far the best. Affectionately called "The Bobbucks" because it's right next to Bob's Big Boy, shares their parking lot, and has a giant smiling Big Boy mural outside their window. It's clean indoor and out, well-run, and amongst the nicest staff. Yes, it can get busy because of nearby entertainment workers, but the staff and the place are the most professional and polite around. Don't even think of going to the other four in the area. Located right next to Bob's Big Boy, this Starbucks is inconspicuous and a nice place to just relax or or hit the computer outside on one of the few tables available. The drinks are made pretty well, and the staff pretty relaxed. My wife enjoys their specialty teas, and really enjoys just sipping, while I usually down a whole drink over an hour or so. Starbucks seems to be one of the businesses that will survive COVID-19, as there is no need to dine inside, and the access is painless. Once the pandemic is over, I believe Starbucks will be okay, with a few stores in malls or heavy traffic areas inside relocated or closed to to the nature of an endemic disease in the future. read more

I frequent this neighborhood Starbucks purely out of convenience. There's so many more, better, options. Today was my last straw, I've received poor service and poorly made drinks from this location pretty much everytime I'm there (once every few weeks). Today the kids hot chocolate I ordered was not at kids temp and burnt my kids tongue. I checked it before and I think mostly got whipped cream, thinking it was good, and handed it over. After they burnt their tongue, I took a bigger sip and burnt my tongue too! This all being said, the kids hot chocolate is supposed to be at KIDS TEMP. I used to work for Starbucks, I get the standards, and they failed. Must've been because they were working on a 6 person hc order, dumped whatever into the kids cup, and sent it on its way in the rush. read more

Relatively smaller Starbucks store, a bit more disorganized with boxes hidden off to the side...and pretty decent coffee. The customer service was nice, and my coffee was made efficiently. I ordered a simple cold brew with regular foam and the taste was alright--not the best. I didn't finish the drink unfortunately. The selection of the food was scattered with some bars but empty slots for the packaged foods (and I came relatively early in the day). What I did like about this location more than other places is the fact that it shares the covered lobby area with plenty of tables with outlets for people to have lunch or catch up on work. The only unfortunate thing about this area is the lack of WiFi connection but I went ahead and used my Personal Hotspot for the time I was there. PARKING ~$12 or so for the whole day. Decent Starbucks in Burbank where you can get your drinks in an adequate time but at the expense of your drink. I got my tall pumpkin frapp at a reasonable time but the whipped cream wasn't fluffy at all. You can tell it was old just by looking at them, such a disappointment. First of all gold status besides star level gold status was dropped from sbux .If you are green or gold status doesn't matter just as long as you are member and haven't left the physical store you are at! Yelp Challenge 2016: 2/100. This is a little Starbucks tucked away next to Bob's Big Boy and across the street from the Falcon Theatre in Toluca Lake. My objective, as usual, was caffeine! But tasty caffeine... I utilized the mobile order on their app and these super cool folks had my Holiday Spice Flat White ready in less than three minutes. That's what makes the mobile order app great- you type in your order on your cell phone- I do it from the parking lot- then saunter in- avoiding any line at the cash register- directly to the pick up barista and tell them you have a mobile order. Bingo! Fresh, hot coffee without standing in line! Plus I loved that they still had the Holiday Spiced flavor for the Flat White- most Starbucks are already out of it. Wow! This place's service is absolutely horrible. I'm sorry to be a dick and rag on them so hard but the last 5 trips here, something has gone wrong. Today the attitude of our cashier was absolute dog shit. She grilled us because she thought we were trying to reuse an old Starbucks cup and get a free refill incorrectly. She was telling us about the Starbucks policy how it has to be the same day within two hours, yet we were sitting outside the entire time. Earlier in the day when we ordered our drinks they screwed up one of our drinks and the other one took an extra 15 minutes, while people who ordered after us were getting their drinks way before us. The management here really needs to reevaluate their training practices and what is acceptable as proper customer service Update: today there are 3 baristas working and literally ZERO customers besides Myself. I am absolutely appalled at what I witnessed today at this Starbucks location. An older gentleman was walking out after just receiving his cup of coffee & tripped on the starbucks carpet. This caused him to smack his head on the door and the railing. None of the employees assisted him or helped him get up, a starbucks guest had to do it. The man was bleeding a lot from his head. One starbucks team member took him to the back but no other team members cleaned up his spilled drink or his blood. The starbucks was not crowded I was the only one in line, with 4 people behind the bar 1 team member from the bar could have easily helped with that. On top of that the paramedics were not called, no employees asked the man if he was okay and just let him walk away hurt. They didn't even offer the man who is a regular starbucks member a new drink either. A customer that was already seated reminded the employees of the blood that was still there 10 mins after. The female employee replied "we're working on it, you can leave if you have that much of a problem with it". The only ones that were concerned about this man were the customers. This starbucks lacks common decency and a sense of humanity especially during the holiday season. This was so sad to witness! read more

Just my opinion, you can go to any Starbucks and get coffee. The reason to go to this Starbucks is the people. In particular, a barista named Toby. This evening, I had the pleasure of stopping in and observing this young man, who greeted everyone entering as a cherished friend. With a warm smile, a kind word, and a hearty laugh, this barista transformed a chilly Covid-era October night into a friendly comfortable cafe of a bygone era that everyone is nostalgic for, but no one works to recreate. Toby works. From a pigtailed toddler to a weary homeless person, he treated everyone with kindness and dignity. All the while serving drinks with the quickness and efficiency of our technological age. Another patron, obviously a regular, sat next to me. While we enjoyed our drinks, he told me all about how Toby was his favorite barista. The camaraderie again felt old-fashioned, from a era when "the customer is always right", but the customer was also courteous and mannerly. You can get coffee anywhere. The experience at this Starbucks makes it priceless. read more

This This Starbucks location is somewhat hidden but it is a hidden gem. The staff is very fast and efficient they are always willing to help out with any questions on drink specials. This location is pet friendly. During my visit there were two dogs within the café. The Starbucks employees were happy enough to give the dogs water and a puppacino. The restrooms were very clean. As well as the tables and stools. If I am ever in the area again I will make sure to stop by the Starbucks location. read more
