He's always able to give you his opinion on what the hottest flavors are at the moment... although most people have their own favorites, sometimes its nice to try something new. On weekends though, you want to try to get here a little early, because it gets full fast!

No problems there. The coffee selection is pretty decent. They also have cold (sweet) drinks. I had the V12 latte. They put a neat little teddy bear in the foam. Would've been cooler if they put a MB logo instead, but all good. The only complaint is that the car themed couches and regular couches are at different heights. So my friend and I were looking up and down at each other. Wouldn't mind coming back to enjoy the car themed ambience and maybe try a pastry.

However drink was that it was missing some ingredient. No coconut or no puffed rice, so it was just regular hot chocolate. And drink temperature wasn't hot enough...

I personally enjoy my matcha unsweetened so I loved that this one was served without sweeteners, and the matcha is lighter bodied with earthy flavours. The Japanese latte is made with coffee beans from Japan, and I'm not a coffee drinker usually so I can't comment much other than the fact it tasted mellow but had depth. The mochi muffins were not too sweet and deliciously chewy! I'd love to come back to try their hojicha latte!

The popularity of the place showed as we waited almost an hour for a table today (granted it was a stat), with people continuing to flow in while we were dining. My boyfriend explained that they were originally a small diner, but later upgraded to more spacious seating. The waitress (who was also hostessing) was kind and apologetic for the wait. After we sat down and ordered, the food arrived very quickly. The chicken and waffles immediately caught our eye as it seemed almost one person at every table had ordered it. For $1.75, you can also opt to have your chicken made spicy, and it was very worth it! I also really liked the waffles, despite usually preferring chewier waffles. These waffles had a crispier bite, but were fragrant and delicious regardless. The crab cake benny was also a delicious umami bomb with great textures and flavours. Keep in mind, there probably isn't a lot of actual crab (mostly imitation from what I saw and tasted), but it still tasted good. One standout was the hashbrown potatoes. They were perfectly seasoned and so crispy! I also appreciated that everything wasn't too salty and perfectly seasoned for my asian taste buds. I will definitely return, but on the basis of coming for a reservation only!
