There are enough tables, comfortable chairs. Anyone who knows me I love big windows! Plenty of light and sunshine. It's cozy and warm which I find some coffee shops struggle keeping their stores warm enough to be relaxing in the winter. There's plenty of food to snack on or have a full meal. I'll try some next time to see if they are fresh. This was an unexpected find for me. I just moved in the area. Haven't checked their wifi. I've been to nice coffee shops only to realize this is missing. It's a must for me. The day and age we're in it should be tablestakes. There's plenty of street parking. Looking forward to coming here often.

Both came out as expected in terms of presentation and taste, though the latte was not as hot as one would expect. They did provide a pager to notify when the coffee was ready. Waited. Waited. Finally walked over and after several exchanges, determined it was our coffees. I provided the pager and said it did not go off. The attendant then reached down and activated it. Nice. No apologies. Beautiful space but with poor service, I have no intentions of returning to this or any of the Small Victory Bakery's.

I actually saw the staff wiped down the door handle after customers left the place. They are taking the cleanliness seriously here. All the chairs and tables pushed to one side and not meant for dining in. All the plastic lids, sugar, stir sticks, napkins etc are kept away, so you will need to ask for napkins and sugar etc. The staff will put the lid onto your disposable cup. As this is the Starbucks near the office and we are regulars, it is a bit sad to see it so empty. Apparently business has dropped tremendously, with about 2 customers every half hour now. Many are working from home, so there are less people getting their caffeine fix. Hopefully it will be back to normal soon.

As for the food, the ham and egg croissant was the perfect mix of crispy exterior, soft interior and a wonderful blend of flavour. The eggs were fluffy and light and the ham was flavourful, but not overly salty. The hot chocolate was delicious and was the perfect way to end my day. I also remember one time I tried to order what was clearly labelled as "GF/vegan banana loaf" and the barista deadpanned back at me "It's not vegan." I am not vegan so I got it anyway, but I was like, okay, but why is it labelled like that and why do you sound so annoyed with me?
