I am giving this store 5 stars for their amazing customer service. My appreciation goes specifically to the barista named Colby! My typical drink is a hot mint majesty and he recommended I add a pump of vanilla! This little addition has completely transformed my tea game. The same visit, I was sitting doing homework inside uncertain of the new rules surrounding Covid. In my uncertainty, he approached my table and asked if I needed anything. He made me feel so comfortable transitioning back into inside dining. Thank Colby for making my trip to Starbucks so memorable! read more

The fifth star is really for the amazing service we got here from the order taker. She was super nice! Greeted with a warm smile and friendly service. It was fairly quick given it was super crowded on a Sunday. Plenty of outdoor space to sit and chat if you would like. Location is great for anyone who needs to grab groceries. read more

This location & the other on Las Posas & Arneil are constantly out of Splenda. It just shows the Corporate mentality that they give excuses (Covid of course & Supply shortages.) If there was a shortage, than Ralphs, Costco & Smart & Final would be out too. Is Starbucks experiencing supply issues? I don't care, I just want my coffee perfect. This is not a one time deal, it's happened many times. Would Starbucks have to spend a bit more for Splenda at a store? Probably, but a REAL Coffee house would want to please the customer, not worry about 1 cent less profit on a $3 coffee. The crew working at both locations are always pleasant, but I come for Coffee. This team is a well oiled MACHINE! EVERY time I get a minute to squeeze out of my salon, they got me. This is my favorite Starbucks. Don is the MAN. Everytime that guy is working, that line moves like a damn bullet train lol (I know, I know...IMPOSSIBRUUU) but yeah that whole team is great and as much as I'd like for them to stay together like the Avengers of Starbucks that they are, I feel like they should share their ethic and greatness with the other Starbucks locations that need THEIR influence. I've been here many times. Don't know what happen here BUT, the service was horrible. My coffee tasted burnt! I was going to let it go. Yet, I waited forever for it too! The inside of this place looks run down and I didn't realize until I waited a while for my drink. I get it-it's extremely busy. It's dirty and the poor employees look like they're having a bad day! I would rather drive to the one down the street where I they are busy but, they're sweet and get my order right. These places always look like they need more employees, right? read more

Why does SB's promote the mobile app and it still takes just as long? I order on the mobile app then drive 11 miles on the 101 then still wait? Makes no sense. This places always has a crowd and yet only 3 people working on a Sunday afternoon? Does this manager know how to schedule? My kid works at in and out and they always staff over their needs and will have 1 or 2 people leave early if needed which is rarely. Starbucks Mgmt needs to figure this issue out and soon. This place is always the slowest to take care of the customers. Unfortunately this is the only place to coffee close by and that sucks.... They are the absolute slowest SB around Camarillo. You wait for 10 minutes at the store even when you mobile ordered 10 mins before you get there. Horrible just horrible SB. You should close for an afternoon and learn how to move like use to move in the good old 5/6/19. Still slow with hardly anybody in the store. I have a love-hate relationship with this Starbucks. Its an awesome location...by far one of the bigger Starbucks in the area, and one of the more comfortable and inviting locations. That being said it seems to be a magnet for middle aged groups and random people who want to hang out all day long and make for huge lines. Nothing against the middle aged patrons who are hanging out with their book clubs, but believe it or not when I come to Starbucks in the morning it's to pick up a breakfast sandwich and coffee on my way to work...not to hang out. (But that's just me...maybe I will hang out there on Tuesday afternoons when I am 50 years old too...) The baristas here seem to be proficient...earlier today when I was in store there must have been 14 drinks waiting to be made and they didn't even bat an eye...all in a day's work...right? As one previous reviewer said, maybe this store isn't quite as organized as some of the other local locations. There in lies my one issue with this location...if I am in a rush I will more than likely go to another store besides this one. When ever I am in a hurry it always seems like there is a line of 10 people in front of me. It only seems to happen at this location. Maybe this is due to the location being in a busy shopping center, but I don't want to have to wait 10 minutes just to place my order. If they were to get some more help and make the lines go away I might frequent this Starbucks more often. I guess if there was no line at all I would be worried as well...I guess you just can't make some people happy. :0) read more

When I needed a place to go and work at 5AM, this place welcomed me freely and was always friendly. Most of the time I'd order a Bacon Gouda Sandwich or a coffee and pick out a seat and work for 7-9 hours at this place. No one ever said anything negative against me and I truly appreciated it! Living in a small 2 bedroom apartment I had no office to work and so here at Starbucks I was able to put headphones on and work until I wanted to. Definitely would recommend this location, only drawback is that it doesn't have a drive-thru like some other ones in Cam. I have since moved but look back at the months I spent there working. The parking is usually pretty convenient whenever I come. I have yet to experience a bad barista at this location. My drinks have all been made accurately whether they are small coffee or venti caramel macchiato with soy and 3 extra shots... Some places have AT&T wifi, which is more convenient, but their google sign in wifi isn't too bad and ultimately it IS still free! Even engaged in a random conversation with the customer in front of me today. Always nice to feel human and interact with a stranger! This is for Order 8:31:14 Mobile. Iced Green Tea. Would expect it to be a quick pickup as it stated in their "Jump the Line" slogan board for mobile order. I've waited16 minutes only to find out myself just standing in front of an EMPTY CUP unattended because they ran out of honey. How would a customer know when his/her order is delayed because of certain ingredients not available and never calling out the customers name!!?? Too many staff (pack like rats) behind the counter and none have ever bother to take care of an empty cup in mobile pickup tray. Tell you what, if you spot a EMPTY CUP, how about call "full code" which means take care of it right away rather than leaving an empty cup in Pickup Tray - unattended for many unnecessary minutes.. you know customer is waiting!!! We placed a mobile order here for Happy Hour and our drinks were made fairly quickly taking into consideration the promotion going on. They were made perfectly with the modifications followed as well. The lobby was clean as was the outside and the staff was friendly and overall helpful. The only problem we faced was the bathroom situation. I ran into the bathroom when we got in while my sister waited at the mobile order pick up for our drinks. My bathroom has no toilet paper on any of the rolls. When I came out I let someone know as did two other customers while we waited for our drinks and no one did anything. Considering how busy the lobby was with people enjoying their drinks and how many people brought it to the staffs attention I was surprised that no one did anything about it in the time that we were there, they certainly had enough staff to send someone out to check the bathrooms. But like I said, everything else was really pleasant and I am overall very pleased with my visit. read more

I recently moved to the area and have been to a few Starbucks locations. This Starbucks is the closest to where I live and it is by far the one with the worst service that I have ever experienced. The first time I came I had a mobile order to pick up and the only associate that was working ignored me. There was no one else to help and she looked at me twice but wouldn't ask if I wanted help The second time I went I ordered a plain caramel brûlée latte, nothing special about it at all. I received it iced? I asked for it to be remade and the associate immediately rolled her eyes and handed it to another associate, whom also rolled their eyes and passed it to someone else and then that person rolled their eyes as well. The one on register was so impolite and rude that I left feeling bad, when I didn't do anything wrong and wasn't being a difficult customer. I JUST WANTED WHAT I ORDERED, without making a big deal. The one on register made my friend feel uncomfortable as well, when she was trying to be easy with her order and extra polite because she saw everyone rolling their eyes. read more

Unfortunately used to be my favorite Starbucks but now it's just gone downhill. If I go in and order there's usually something wrong with my drink and have to be prepared to wait 20 min for a coffee. Mobil order is 50/50 if it will be made correctly but still not ready by posted time. Yesterday I mobile ordered and got there and still waited 20 min for two drinks. Two stars for decently made drinks. *Thinking* Naw, make that one star. It's not like the drinks are amazing. This location is one of the most poorly managed Starbucks I've experienced. At 8 AM there's a ridiculously long line-ALWAYS. This is due to poor workflow management. This is Camarillo, not Manhattan. There's no reason for this, other than management doesn't GAS and it shows. At 5 pm on a weekend? Line is dead stopped while two young people ssssllloooowwwwlllyyyy make drinks. They're so backed up that they've got three drinks waiting to be blended and they're only making drinks at the espresso machine, not taking orders. Where are the other workers? The manager? After asking for the manager she appears holding a phone to her ear (like a gas station attendant), and FINALLY, another worker joins the line. What!?! Really!?! 15 mins wait to order a drink is BS, y'all. Get it together, or drop the prices for your drinks. Price=Service. Bad Service=Bad Reviews. Bad Reviews=Choose Another Cafe. Absolutely horrible service. This Starbucks is notoriously slow every time I visit, but today was worse than normal. On a typical visit, you wait in line 5 - 10 minutes. Then, if you get anything other than a drip coffee, you wait another 10 minutes. Today, after waiting for 15 minutes, my husband got back in line to ask about his order. After another 5 minute trek through line, he got to the counter only to find out they hadn't even started his order and the sticker was never even printed.
