What's the point of writing a review for this mammoth coffee chain? Well obviously, you could have very different experiences from one starbucks to another. I usually stop at this location before the church service to get my latte fix - and really, what gets me going in the early morning are the smiles and the chirpy and cheery attitude of the baristas. They obviously know what they're doing and they always chat you up and smile at you. What else do you need on a Sunday morning other than your caffeine of course? Not my favorite Starbucks. The drinks are decent and the restaurant is nice and roomy. Their customer service is hit or miss. They rarely call names. On multiple visits, other people would take my drink or my drink would be sitting at the counter without any mention from the barista. A few times they missed my drink altogether. This is now my new favorite Starbucks. Every employee I have talked to both over the phone to ask a question and in person when ordering has been absolutly wonderful. Monday night I had called to see if they had recived the new gold anniversery cups. Sebastian had answred the phone and told me the shipment was going to be delved the next day and to call as soon as possible to see if I could have one put on hold as I drove down. When I called the next morning Savannah answered, and graciously put two on hold for my sister and I to head down right after my morning class ended. Before leaving since this starbucks isnt in my area I called to confim the address and that the cups were sitll there Lauren answered and said yes! As I got there the whole staff greated us with a super friendly hello and had the cups waiting at the counter. After purchasing the cups my sister and I ordered some iced coffee's and were informed we could get covid safe refills with our gold cards if we sat outside or in our car. This was cool since we were not sure if this gold card perk was avaible or not with Covid restrictions. Thank you Jonny and Sydney for making our drinks. My husband sometimes walks to this Starbucks to bring me a coffee.(2shot capachino) he has been doing this most days for the last year. Unfournately 4 out of 5 coffee drinks taste dirty as if the machine is not cleaned enough or properly. He states the service is friendly but to the person drinking that coffee ( me) all I can say is yuck!!! Why can't the barista just wash the part of the machine that holds the coffee? I am a hardcore Peet's fan. I worked next door to a Peet's in high school, and when I moved to the midwest, I cried and cried at the loss of my beloved Garuda Blend and Summer House iced tea. I had friends and relatives mail stuff to me from Peet's and it was the first place I'd visit on trips home. Then I worked for Peet's, made many friends at my store, and got horrible carpal tunnel from working bar like a maniac. C'est la vie. But I still love the place. So the only reason I'd ever go to a Starbucks is to visit friends. I don't buy their products, but if some of it happens to get sampled, I'll take it. My friend Brian works at this location, and because of the super corporate nature of the Starbucks machine, his work stories are a lot funnier than mine. Sometimes I drop by to say hello and distract him for a few minutes. His coworkers are always rude to me, but I'm not here to see them. I've never bought a damn thing here, but I hear the cider is nice. In short, five stars for Brian ! I have used Yelp for years and never once was compelled to sign up and write a review until tonight. ** I'll try to keep this short.. An elderly man walked in here around 10pm looking to get some coffee, but had no idea what or even how to order. Also, there's clearly a language barrier. Normally in a service establishment, employees are rushing. This employee was not only patient, but was more than happy to help. And even when the man changed his order from a macchiato to a frap BACK to a regular coffee, this employee was sincere and not bothered one bit. He must have been with this customer for 15+ mins! I think he may have even offered it to him for free (not sure). For real, shout out to the most compassionate Starbucks employee I have ever seen. My go to Starbucks. This is a Tier 1 store; they were trained by corporate to learn how to make and serve drinks and it shows. This is the BEST Starbucks in the area for reliably made drinks. Pros: Friendly baristas. Good place to grab a drink before hitting up Whole Foods. Cons: This place smells like a septic tank. I could also mention that I am not a fan of the remodel, but I won't because I think the septic smell largely detracts from the poor choice of furnishings. My go to Starbucks because it's walking distance from my work, next to Whole Foods and with the new renovated space it is pretty spacious. There's always seats inside plus outside seats where most of the regulars I usually see sits down. There's plenty of parking since it's in a plaza (just don't go on rush hours of lunch because that's a different story) and friendly staffs. During winter time, they blast their heater to keep you warm and I really like that. During summer time, they blast their AC to keep you cool which is great. read more

Hate to say it, but this is the first time I have been severely disappointed about the customer service. I came in on 12/12/13 around 4:22, minor rush happened. The one on register, Jonathan, was pleasant and helpful. The tall girl with dark brown hair and black, narrow square glasses was taking orders. I did not get her name because she had no name badge. In this process, she was highly abrasive in her tone, rushing customers and sighing every time someone took longer than a few seconds to respond. When it was my turn to give my order, her tone was gruff. I ordered a vent I light-iced passion tea lemonade with raspberry. This order apparently bothered her because she scoffed and then rolled her eyes while writing it on the cup. No greet, no "thank you," just pushy. Will not come back to this store :( read more

They usually do a good job in the mornings with my usual order( just a grande mocha) Decided to try it out in the afternoon and met the evening crew. They're a bit different than the morning. I did my order with Linsey, who seemed friendly enough to me. Little did I know, two seconds later she was yelling at her coworker. I don't believe she's the manager, but she was belittling her coworker right there on the floor. I tried to just keep my head down, but it was bothering me. Decided to take to the Yelp! I travel a lot for work, so I am constantly parking myself at Starbucks in between meetings and spent a ton of money at Starbucks across the country and across the world even --- this location near my home is one of the worst I have been to. The store is spacious and modern but most of the staff just isn't very good... Mistake prone - this location mixed up my non-diary order multiple times, instead of using soy or almond milk as I requested, they would use milk to make the drink, which leads to major discomfort and bowl problems for me after a few hours. If you are lactose intolerant, DO NOT risk your health at this location... The mistake happens way too often here. Clueless - I've lost the count on times that they advertise a new special drink via a giant banner when you walk in, yet don't know how to make it. I even had one barista tell me he is gonna throw a bunch of stuff together and hopefully he gets right! What kind of attitude is that?! I went here a week before Christmas with my family while shopping. The service was terrible, the lady who served our drinks was very rude. Maybe I am used to the 2 great Starbucks by my house. Not only were they rude, but there were orders behind us that got their drinks made before us. I do not think it is that hard to make a hot chocolate.
