I love Starbucks, I go quite a bit. But this Starbucks was one of the worst I've been to. The inside is big and I like the amount of seating it has, and the employees are super nice. But, the garbages were all so full that they were over flowing with cups and garbage, the floors were pretty dirty as well. They have two bathrooms, and the one I went into had no toilet paper, and was out of soap. The floors were covered in paper towels and it smelled of urine badly. I was very disappointed in this trip to Starbucks. read more

Don't plan on your app order time estimate being anywhere near correct. 9-12 min actually means 20-25 min. Also, double checked my app receipt. I ordered extra ice for my white mocha. When a cup of coffee cost more then gasoline then I will stick to gasoline first before I would spend $4.35 for 16 oz. coffee. Lets see that equals over $37.00 a gallon.....HOLY SCHMOLEY. Can you imagine how people would complain about it an B---H if gasoline was that high? And, so of Stars Bucks is even bigger bucks then that. I could not drink Stars Bucks for a week and have 8 Gallons to run my car. I cannot not count how many times a person with a S. B. coffee in hand has asked me for money to get so gas for their car. Waited 35 min in the drive thru for our order for our coffee.. they also kept getting our order wrong and when we finally got to the cashier window they told us they didn't have the sandwich we ordered. trying to be understanding but never waited that long in a drive thru ever in my life especially for coffee..won't be going here again. read more

This is a convenient location near hotels and the freeway. However, knocking down several stars due to having to explain a caramel latte is not the same as a caramel macchiato on two different occasions. Some basic drinking making, could help out. Also, they're extremely short staffed. I asked where my drink was after 10 minutes, and it was if I was making them uncomfortable for following up for it. Keep driving to another location. read more

Have to say that I am very disappointed in this location. While the drinks and food were good, the wait time was ridiculous, especially at the window. That must've lasted 10 min or so. Altogether, I waited almost thirty minutes in the drive-thru. What's worse? The staff never acknowledged my wait. I love Starbucks and this location was no exception. Service was excellent and my drink prepared exactly as ordered. So why only three stars? The parking lot is a mess to navigate, making the simple art of picking up your favorite fix an unexpected nightmare. The drive-thru forces cars to block most of the parking spaces and no one seems to understand what to do so cars line up on the street and honk at each other. The inside of this location is smaller than most so when it's crowded it can be a bit overwhelming to manage. I'm not sure if there are any other Sbux in the area, but if you can, I would recommend finding another one to go to. read more

I don't think I've ever had to deal leave a really bad review at a Starbucks. And I'm not necessarily blaming the staff, But whoever's in charge of ordering, I'm training, probably should be retrained themselves. This location is always out of soy milk, almond milk, caramel, vanilla, sugar-free vanilla, cinnamon, coffee... I just don't know what the situation is here. I stopped going to this Starbucks entirely because every time I've tried to mobile order, they've either been out of all of the milks, except for regular dairy, or they've been so backed up on orders, that even my 15 minute order ahead wasn't done when I got there. That's one of the other issues in this location, how long it takes to get your order. They are not quick. Again, not necessarily blame the people, but maybe adding another person per shift would make up for the angry customers? I know managers always complain about payroll, but if the payroll is making you the money worth the cost, then it's worth it. That's basic management. I know that Starbucks doesn't just put people in a management role either, they have to go through the whole process. So what's going on here? Is there no manager? It's just not worth the headache. I get my coffee either in St. George at one of those Starbucks, or it Perks. The Grind has great coffee, but when you're in a hurry, it's nice to be able to order ahead and pick it up through a drive-through. So, no hate on The Grind. read more

For several years now, I have collected the Starbucks City Mugs, which have been replaced with the You Are Here mugs. No matter where I travel, my goal is to always bring back a momentum of each Starbucks location I visit. Here lately I have been having nothing but poor experiences with my local Starbucks locations. Feeling it an isolated incident, I try not to give up hope. Well I set out on a road adventure traveling from California to Utah and back which took us through Arizona, along Route 66, Colorado; needless to say, a lot of Starbucks stops and several You Are Here mugs later. My horrible encounter comes from this Cedar City Utah location at which two employees were so rude and their unwillingness to help so discombobulated. I drove as fast as I could as the Starbucks app stated this location closed at 10:30PM. We arrived at 10:33PM and the doors were locked and you could see two employees inside just chatting up a storm. All the lights were on inside and one of the team members even had their headset on. We stood outside and they simply looked at us and ignored us. Seeing as one still had their headset on, we got back in the car and went through the drive thru. This is now 10:36PM, they come on the speaker and we tell them we only need to get a You Are Here Mug, she then tells me that they are closed and they already removed the tills. I tell her I can pay with a starbucks card or a credit card, I don't need any coffee or beverages just the mug. I explain to her that we were en route back to California and that we collect the mugs. She then rudely says well there is nothing I can do about that. We are closed. Try again on another visit. WOW, we were so shocked by that comment and the unwillingness to help. This brings me to my initial disappointment with this Starbucks location and has reminded me that perhaps Starbucks has gotten too big and the quality touches that have made Starbucks well Starbucks have been thrown out with the bathwater. Is it time that I perhaps join the bandwagon of so many other that are now choosing alternatives to Starbucks? Will my voice be heard? You can't tell me, especially from someone who worked in retail as an Ops Mgr that you can close an entire store in 5 minutes. There is no way. If they wanted to actually help with very minimal effort on their part, they could have. They chose to be rude, they chose to be lazy and those chose not to be helpful and they chose not to uphold the values and processes that have made Starbucks what it is. read more

Rude manager Amanda always going on vacation while expecting unrealistic expectations. Hired way to many people and only give 15-20 hours a week. Whats a raise if you dont get the money. The staff were the sweetest people. I went in this morning to try the new fall items (the pumpkin cream cheese muffin, and a iced chai with pumpkin brown sugar with almond milk), and they were amazing. They asked how I was before taking my order, confirmed my order at the speaker then at the window gave a very welcoming warm energy. While I was grabbing my money they complimented me and made small talk, it was great. The muffin and drink were delicious as well. 10/10 experience read more

Driving through and stopped to go in for a potty break and drinks. There was no line (inside) so we walked right up to the counter and reviewed the menu. Decided, waited, reread the menu and started debating what we wanted....and waited...and waited...and after close to 2-3 minutes of standing there without even being Acknowledged by the four different staff people behind the counter we turned around and left. Found a local joint to support instead. I get being busy- but you always have time to make eye contact and smile or welcome someone and say "we'll be right with you". They legit didn't acknowledge us in any way. At all. Another reason we aren't Starbucks regulars. Only stopped because it was the closest stop off the freeway but next time we'll take the time initially to find anywhere else. read more

Stopped on a road trip to SoCal. Ordered 2 drinks and both were wrong! Asked for unsweetened iced coffee, and it came with sugar in it. Ordered a latte with whipped cream and got no whipped cream. It's just incompetence from the staff. Also, they didn't have the seasonal flavors. read more

I've gotten a mocha frappuccino most mornings for years now and this is by far the best Starbucks I have ever been to. I love the customer service. They are always so nice and sweet and if my drink doesn't taste right they are quick to make a new one and sometimes give me a giftcard with a few dollars off of my next drink for the trouble. Waited in line for 5 mins without being acknowledged, not busy at all as no one was behind me. Cashier lady just decided to take an order from the lady in front of me, and brew a new batch of coffee. But thats fine. Then the barista KATIE decided to be mean and give me an attitude. Ordered ice mocha (i didnt know it came with whip cream), saw Katie take the whip cream and told her no whip please from the corner. Then Katie goes, "next time you order this let them know at front you dont want whip." No kidding, but again I didnt know as this was my dad's order so I apologize and told her I didn't know. After that, she decided to sloooowly make my last drink. I mean come on really?! When she finally gave my last drink, I asked for straws. I used to love going to this Starbucks but now every time you try to order you go through about 4 different drinks before you get one they have in stock. They are also have been out of every lunch item and every breakfast item the last 2 times Ive went. The staff is great but why go wait in a drive through for 35 minutes just to get to the speaker and not even get the items I came there for. On top of that they've been turning on and off they're mobile ordering so the only way you can get coffee there is to wait an hour. Friendly, somewhat slow service. I always get ice chunks in my drink. It isn't very busy here, so you can get your coffee, stake out a seat and enjoy your drink and free wifi. They completely forgot my sister's drink and she had to go up and remind them. Overall, don't be in a hurry--although, who's in a hurry in southern Utah?--don't expect a perfect frappuccino, and you'll like this laid back starbucks. read more

They absolutely spoil me! Been a regular here for quite some time. One day I was a bit annoyed because I ordered a drink with coconut milk, and they gave me regular milk. I'm highly allergic to milk so I was quite sick for some time. They were very patient with me and gave me the original drink I ordered in a bigger size and gave me my money back. Had to say order twice because rather than writing it down they would rather get it wrong & irritate a customer. Barista made my coffee wrong then has to ask again for a third time how to make my drink. I explained to her why I don't want foam and she rolled her eyes and ignored me. It went on from there... Turns out the barista was the manager because when I asked the other employees they wouldn't give her name either. If you're proud of your horrible attitude, you should stand behind it. By refusing to give your name and own your unprofessionalism you are basically saying I can treat you like crap without consequence. Well, I called the DM I was so mad about the manager being such a mess. It's the only Starbucks in town and that manager certainly doesn't give 2 craps about that place. read more

Kayla is the very best barista ever! I live in Cedar City and this location is SO friendly even when they're slammed! I told them what I wanted (not on the menu), Kayla made me a small version so I could make sure I like it first and when I fell in love with it she made me the large! AMAZING! Another barista made my large and put too much ice for my liking (I forgot to ask for light ice...my fault) but I called the Starbucks and Kayla told me she completely understands and for me to come back in and they'll make me another one just the way I like it! Left the Ville of Circles in the very early morning hours. After traveling the 89, 20 & 15, I was in need of simulation and a little something to warm the bones. Not having time properly research a hometown coffee shop, or spend time in one for that matter, I knew of this corporate forward operating base. Rolling into the drive-thru, I was a tad taken back at those lined up before the cappuccino alter as there was no out of state plates before me. The dichotomy of Utah is interesting.
