To be fair, I don't believe this even deserved a one-star rating, but I'm directing it to Starbucks Corporate Customer Service rather than the store itself. I spoke with the store manager and was extremely disappointed by how unprofessionally the situation was handled. The manager hung up on me, showed no accountability, and dismissed my concern entirely when I explained that the drink I received smelled like urine around the lid and rim of the cup. Instead of listening, I was made to feel as though I was making things up and was told that what I was describing was "impossible." All I suggested was that basic hand hygiene is essential in any food and beverage business and that perhaps staff could be reminded of this for everyone's safety. My concern was dismissed, and I was told to come back to the store even after explaining that we were only passing through and do not live nearby. This experience was upsetting, concerning, and honestly traumatizing. I was unable to finish my drink. I am not trying to blame anyone--I simply want to ensure that something like this does not happen to future customers. It's very sad and alarming to be treated this way by a manager when raising a legitimate health concern. read more

Horrible horrible service. Walk in on a Monday morning for coffee and a sandwich. Had 4 peoplel scurrying around the store, nobody smiling, nobody caring that I was in the lobby. Finally, some woman came to the cash register asked me what I wanted without even looking and I left. The experience I had today! I would NEVER visit or send anyone who works for me to this SB! The service sucks. I walked in, no greeting, went to the register barely got a greeting. I placed my order. Another guy walks in 5-6 minutes later and orders. He gets his order before mine. There is something wrong with this picture. Why???? I walked over to the register to confront the so called barista. I asked him what happened. He had no response. Its a shame. I walked back over to where i was standing and im thinking a manager came to me and asked me what my order was. I informed her. The staff was very friendly and greeted me as I walked in the door. The girl at the register was very helpful in taking my order from the secret menu. I ordered the Love Bug which was delicious. Even while waiting for my order the gentleman was friendly and talked with me a bit. read more

I was dispatched to this location at 9:30 a.m. on 4/10/24 to retrieve a delivery order. I arrived a couple minutes early and waited at the end of the counter where the mobile orders are placed. I was in the establishment for over 10 minutes before an employee acknowledged me. I asked for my order and was told it was still being prepared. This was at about the 5 minutes late for pick up mark. 5 employees behind the counter and 4 drinks on the counter. For some reason they stop making drinks to empty the trash. The drive through line didn't seem to back up. Basically the employees felt DoorDash is a secondary customer. Wrong! We deliver your product to your customers. Treat us like we are doing your job. Stopped by en-route back to Oberlin. Parked the car, and opted to order online, waited few minutes and walked in. The place wasn't busy (drive thru was though). Inside there were few folks ordering... we grabbed a table and waited about 3 minutes and our order was ready to go. I order online and pick up my coffee every morning at this location and service is top notch and people are fast and friendly and have my order on time and perfect every time I order. This coffee shop in clean and organized and always had in stock items that sell fast. I have met clients before here for short meeting and the restrooms are clean as well. People have to understand that this is a very busy Airport Location one exit away from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. 18 hotels service the area and the peak times are very busy. This location has a top notch staff fully trained and aware of speed of service, excellent customer service, and cleanliness. Hats off to the Staff at Middleburg Starbucks for knocking it out of the ballpark each and every morning. Stopped in here on very cold and snowy morning to get some coffee. This Starbucks is physically connected to the same building a Chipotle is in. Several folks walked up expecting to enter Starbucks - but were trying the door to Chipotle. Service was prompt, coffee was strong and good. There is not a lot of interior seating here - so beware. All of the seating was being utilized while we were there. Including something I've never seen before - 3 of the tables had "Reserved" placards on them. I cannot say that I am a huge fan of this location, nor can I say that I do not like it. I am very sorta in the middle. First, the parking at this location is an absolute NIGHTMARE. Whoever had the grand idea of putting a Chipotle and Starbucks in a plaza alone together....must have been a functioning alcoholic. Two places that draw large crowds shoved into small spaces and equally as small parking lots? I THINK NOT! Not to mention, this is on a BUSY main road....which means getting in and out of here can cause you to draw up your last will and testament. Of course, they have coffee. Lovely, beautiful, sexy and delicious coffee. My order was correct and the staff here was friendly. They do not have a very large selection of snacks or Starbucks gear....so if this matters to you, look to another location. The store is small....like small small. If you are looking to sit and work in peace, it isn't gonna happen amigo! The have a nice little patio outside but only has a few tables to sit at. Once I got to the window, I was met again with another person asking me how I was! And on top of the great service they wrote me cute little notes on my cups, which was the icing on the cake. Starbucks, in MY neighborhood! Of course it is gonna get 5 stars! I stopped by on day 2 of opening around 6:30am. I had to. I got my butt to the gym at 5:30 so I deserved a good cup of java. Lo and behold, to my pleasant surprise, this location offers the Reserve coffees brewed Clover style! I could have done, yet another, happy dance! Employees were pleasant and all working steadily. My drink was perfectly made and I was happy as a clam. This location isn't huge, but Starbucks did a nice re-model and it appears more open and spacious. This location also boasts a drive-thru which is welcome when ordering simple drinks and the weather is crappy. While some of you complain against the bux, I like that I can get a consistent, decent cup of coffee made to my liking. I'm a fan! read more

This location has a busy busy drive through and not the best layout, HOWEVER... the service is top notch. I recommend going into the store if possible. This Is your typical Starbucks. I mostly use the drive thru and never have a problem. A lot of the people who work here are very friendly and smiley which is really awesome. A smile can make anyone's day and they have that down at this store. Great customer service. Drinks always come out the way I've ordered them. Ordering online and picking up in the store is a great option to avoid lines. I have tried that out a couple of times and again, I've never had an issue. read more

Website and app says they open at 5:30 and you can even do mobile orders. when I got there they weren't open and I pulled through the drive through. When I called to ask when they open and with such a terrible attitude, the man stated they open at 6 and that it's 6 every and it's posted on both doors. Interesting. This Starbucks is consistent when making drinks and the baristas are always welcoming and friendly. The store is clean and usually pretty busy. From the street, it appears there is not much parking, but there is a huge lot in the back with a back entrance. read more

I like this location, takes forever to get out of the driveway but the line for drive through is quick. This was the first one that I saw that had the video on the screen outside that was cool. This space is smaller but the service is always quick and friendly and the drinks are consistently good. Also I like that they sometimes do special stuff like for a while you could upgrade to trenta iced coffee for free that was sweet. read more

This was a very decent Starbucks as they managed to get my drinks/orders right every time I was here. The drive thru line was incredibly slow, however. They had a sign about trying to make it "the fastest around" asking customers to have their money ready, etc. Sorry folks, but the slowness on Starbuck'd ..not the customers. I went here this morning and the store was pretty empty. I was the only one in line and when I went to pay on my app, it told me I needed to update it before I proceeded. I apologized to the friendly woman ringing me up and informed her I just needed to update it real quick. She says, "ya know what don't worry! It's on me today. Happy Easter!" I was shocked, but so grateful! What a fantastic way to start my work day. Not because it was free, but kindness and positivity is powerful and has the ability to set the tone for anyone's day! This Starbucks is close to my house, so I thought why not?! I can get a good drink, a few snacks if need be and study for an exam. Mind you when I say that I am studying, I do not anticipate complete silence, I cannot focus and complete silence and need a little bit of background noise while I focus. I will tell you while in this location, I was unable to focus at all! The staff was extremely loud and unprofessional. It was memorial day so there were NO customers. I was literally the only one sitting inside and I can tell you all 4 employees where extremely loud blurting out rude comments, talking about customers and cackling. One employee was literally yelling and the others just laughed. No one ever said hey dude keep it down there's a customer in the store, they all just fed into his immature nonsense. The worst part of all of this is there was a supervisor in the store because I heard him saying to the other employees "hey don't talk to me like that I'm your supervisor!" Yet he could not manage the conduct of his employees while a customer was in the store. I left after 25 minutes of sitting down because I could not deal with the immaturity any longer. I am in my late 20's so I'm not old, but this group was very young and immature. I am very disappointed I won't step foot back in the Starbucks or spend another dollar there! So annoyed!!!! read more
