Convenient pit stop on the way back from Tahoe to the Bay Area with clean restrooms and a nice seating area to enjoy a snack and beverage. We got our usual travel order - pan au chocolat (to share), bacon egg Gouda sandwich, egg white Feta wrap and an iced matcha latte (to share). The food and drinks have been consistently delicious across locations. The staff is very friendly here and quickly made a new drink when we pointed out that we wanted the matcha latte not the caramel one. read more

We often stop at the Starbucks on our way to Sacramento. The only downside to the Starbucks is that the parking is super tight. Other than that, it is quite convenient right off the freeway. The staff is always friendly. read more

Not sure if the person making the drinks is having a bad day or I upset them some how. But the fact that there is almost an entire trenta cup of ice left after almost an hour drive is completely unacceptable. A drink i get almost every day at 5am usually lasts me till 8am was gone in under 15min because there was so much ice in it. To top it off prices went up. Gonna be a bit of a homer here but this super high volume SB's could be held up as an example of how to make a huge chain coffee store feel like a local coffee house. Jenn and the entire crew work hard every day to make everyone feel at home. They are active in the lobby, always checking in and making sure you've got what you need. read more

The service was so bad! I ordered 4 pastries and ended up 2 and blame my brother that he took the pastries the baristas was rude she slammed the tablet when they check my order the cashier who is taking the orders did not put my order or ham and cheese croissant and blame us that we took it while i was there waiting for my order.! 20 mins waiting for the order it's very disappointing! ! 8:22pm and the lobby was closed early, unbeknownst to me; nothing was posted about this on the app. I had a mobile order I had made so we could use the restroom. We had just spent 3.5hours in standstill traffic due to awful weather going to the mountains -- we ended up having to turn around. We just wanted to use the restrooms so our bladders wouldn't explode. The gentleman cleaning the lobby wouldn't even talk to me. This is a great Starbucks. The staff are all very friendly and the service is fast! The drive through was quick and easy, as one would expect. The cheese danish was delicious and the drinks are all consistent and well made. I think the only thing about this location is leaving the parking lot. There's a lot of cross traffic coming from both directions on the road and it's pretty difficult to get out sometimes when the traffic is high. Other than that no complaints! read more

"Gotta" love a Starbucks when you're traveling the freeway. A private restroom and reliable and familiar menu that gives a little pick-me-up to keep driving. I stop at this Starbucks every time i pass by, helpful staff, and it's a wide open larger store, not crowded, with lots of windows for natural light. Plenty of parking too! Plenty of parking, but can fill up fast. 2 unisex bathrooms, usually a long wait. Service - Hit and miss. Price - Who cares, I just needed another coffee and a restroom break. I tried to order a pecan crunch oat milk iced latte with protein cold foam at Starbucks by save Mart and I got a 10 minute dissertation on why that wasn't possible. So I decided to drive up to Colfax cause I had to come here anyway and Brianna, my rockstar for the day did just that with no problems. Easy on/off access from Hwy 80, this Starbucks is strategically placed for Tahoe commuters. Fortunately, the staff are experienced, quick and good humored. Thanks to all for an easy java experience each time I make the trek up the hill. Easy parking for regular cars. For those pulling a trailer, it's too tight a squeeze, sorry to say. This is a Starbucks with a decent amount of space inside for seating. The store is clean and well kept, although the bathrooms can use a bit of attention. There is a drive-thru here, and despite that going inside didn't take too long (sometimes inside orders take a long time as they attend to the drive through, but we didn't have a a problem here with this). The parking lot is a tad tight but at the same time there are a good number of spots to park in. This location is right off 80 for those commuting to/from Tahoe and Reno. read more

This Starbucks is our go to location in Auburn. They are conveniently located off the freeway and even when they are slammed they still have great service. They have a nice large seating area great for relaxing or getting some work done. The drinks are always perfect.
