This is a popular choice for UMD students to grab some coffee and work. There are a decent number of seating inside. The baristas have been friendly every time I've come. They had yet to mess up my order. Though I can see how people can pick up the wrong order since they just basically place the finished drinks on the other end and don't check if people pick up the right one. I have seen them have to redo some drinks. It is located in a shopping center with paid parking (except Sun). But it is hard to find free parking in College Park.

Usually they're ok but I've noticed huge inconsistencies with the quality at this location. I've had a number of frustrating experiences and poorly made drinks and today I got sized down from a TALL and it wasn't even filled up all the way. I couldn't even ask for it to be remade because i needed to make it to work. But very frustrating.

In the DMV area this was one of my favorite Starbucks pre pandemic. Great place to get work done b/c UMD students were usually there studying so it gives that get things done vibe w/o being too loud. You can read a book, get some work done, w/e while enjoying your drink, food item or dessert. Overall I like this location. You can order ahead or at the register. This is not a drive in location. Con - the bathrooms aren't the cleanest.

This is a HUGE Starbucks. I was in my old college town recently and stopped in to this Starbucks for a quick sweet baked good. The employee at the register was extremely friendly and upbeat, rang up my order right away, and offered to warm up by banana nut bread. The banana nut bread slice was flavorful, fresh, delicious, and baked just right. Heated up it tasted excellent! Although there were a ton of people inside, there was still plenty of seats. The store is really open and bright without designated sections of the store, but the overall feeling was warm and I didn't feel too old or out of place, despite every single person being under 20.

I really like this location! I don't come here very often but I've never had any issues! I feel over the years they've improved the store so much! It's always clean, service is great, and there is plenty of seating but due to the pandemic, no indoor dining! A few days ago, I pre-ordered a cinnamon dulce latte and it was ready when I arrived shortly after. I was greeted right away and my drink was perfect!

Have you ever performed a search of Snow White on IMDB? Over 80 film titles come up, some of which will never see the light of day in any children's daycare setting. One cannot go wrong, however, with Disney's first-ever animated film, released on February 4, 1938. The same could be said of Starbucks, which opened its first venue in the cobblestone streets of Seattle's Pike Place Market in 1971. By 1987, Starbucks had become a trendy coffeehouse; and, soon thereafter, an international franchise destination for Venti and Grande frappes, coffees, and ice teas of all kinds. The College Park location on Baltimore Avenue is quite desirable in part, ironically, because one has to pay for parking at a meter Monday through Saturday, resulting in very little wait times when my wife and I have dropped by while shopping at other locales in the same strip mall. In our most recent trip, my wife ordered a delectable and decadent pumpkin muffin to accompany her very own Venti Pumpkin Spice Latte!

This place is great! Here's why I took off a star: - They have messed my order 2-3 times in the past, caused me to wait unnecessary amount of time - There's never a place to sit, and when there is, customers have their bags on the chair :/ But, this is pretty much it! Otherwise, it's a great Starbucks with good service and their coffee is strong and flavorful

I stopped in for an Iced Mocha Latte on 8/20/11 and my 1st thought was "This place needs some HELP!". It was my 4th visit & I hadn't remembered thinking that on any of my previous visits. But the cashier (a young college girl, I assume) was mind numbingly slow. Good Lord, the line (at this typically fast-paced, well-decorated, java joint with ample seating & power outlets) stretched back to the door. She was flitting about behind the counter getting cups, making coffee, all the while handing folks the wrong pastry, forgetting who even ordered a pastry, and NOT getting me my bev & ringing it up. Ugh. Meanwhile, the Barista was coolin. He'd fulfilled most if not all orders from the people in the growing line and in some cases delivered our drinks to us in line. He was helping frantic cashier by smiling and saying "gosh, I don't know what's going ON over there!" What was going on is cashier girl needed retraining at Starbucks Brew U. because having a long line at the register when bevs are waiting on the bar is not a core value.

The place is big and I like sitting there and work. It's clean and the employees are super nice (usually). The only downside here is the fact that for such a big place there is only one restroom for women and one for men. There have been several time I had to wait like 10 minutes in line. The annoying part is that this place has been renovated during the last summer (great job!!!) so I really can't understand why they didn't take care of this issue.

I used to come here all the time during my years at UMD to study, and I'm still a regular since I work close by. They have plenty of seating and of course the free WI-FI. The WI-FI can be shotty though sometimes. There are also not that many outlets, so bring your laptops fully charged. But it's still a good spot to work on your homework (bring headphones though). The baristas here are pretty good. They are accommodating and friendly. Also, this location does NOT have a drive-though...not sure why some of the reviews say it does. If you are looking for a drive-through location there is one not too far from this Starbucks on Cherry Hill Road. And don't forget to pay for the metered parking outside. The parking enforcement is pretty strict.

Girl supposed to be making my drink but instead is on her phone. I was the only customer waiting for an order. Terrible service!

First, their location is very inconvenient unless you are on foot, which may be great for U of MD students, but if you are in a car, its a disaster when it comes to parking. This business even has a sign saying ask about a parking pass and they are not responsible if your car is towed. This alone makes this place already super unattractive. I fought my instincts and gave this place a try, but honestly, felt like I wasted $12. They have a digital kiosk where you can order your drinks and I chose a HK style milk tea (hot) with less sugar and also a jasmine milk tea with boba. The ordering for the jasmine tea was weird because it has an option to choose $1 extra for boba but if you scroll a little further down, you can get boba, no extra charge. I thought that was a bit sneaky, which I didn't appreciate. I waited about 15 min and then my order was ready. The HK style milk tea was supposed to be in a glass container but I only saw the sign after I ordered that they didnt have glass containers. That really sucked. The other issue is that when my HK style milk tea (hot) was ready, it was barely warm, which also was disappointing as it was a bit cool outside and I wanted something hot to warm me up. The HK milk tea also wasn't that great either, nothing special. I've had HK milk teas for about $2 elsewhere and they were great, but this was overpriced and lukewarm. I wont be ordering this again. The other drink seemed OK as I ordered it for someone else. I also thought this place was kind of dirty and could have been more clean. Not sure why the windows looked so dirty. I found the place kind of gross and it just didnt feel as clean as I like businesses to be. Overall, a pretty underwhelming experience. You get one chance to make a good impression especially when there are so many boba options available. I definitely wont be coming back here again.

This time, I noticed they had a pho + milk tea combo, so I ordered it through the app. When my food arrived, I got the pho but there was no broth, just dry noodles. I also ordered beef pho with meatballs, and there were only two tiny meatballs, no beef at all, and the noodles were soggy and overcooked (and not how it looked in the photo advertised). My fiancé took it back so they could fix it. When he got there, he called me so I could speak to the worker. She told me, "I can pour some juice in it, but since you added meatballs, you'd have to buy another $14 combo to get beef because you didn't add beef to your pho." That made no sense why would I order another pho just to get what I already paid for? I told her I did add beef and asked her to check my receipt. She immediately cut me off, said "not my problem," and walked away. I was honestly in shock. I wasn't rude or yelling I just wanted my order corrected. It's just pho, but the customer service made the situation so much worse. She refused a refund or to give me her manager's information. Eventually, she handed my fiancé the soup, but the lid wasn't on correctly, so as soon as he got outside, it spilled all in the bag. At that point, I just threw it away. I'm honestly sad because I loved this place it's such a cute spot to study if you're a student, and the decor is really nice. But after this experience, I probably won't be coming back. I ended up having to order actual pho on Uber Eats, so I spent about $51 out of pocket for a replacement... which is insane in this economy i tried to call to get a hold of a manager to speak about the incident but their business phone number is suspended and is no longer in service I've attached a screenshot of my receipt below with the date to show that I did, in fact, order beef.
