Customer service needs a lot Of help! We walked in and stood there for over 5 minutes without any acknowledgment whatsoever. No eye contact, no "I'll be with you in a minute absolute nothing. So trying to give them the benefit of the doubt I decided to use the restroom to give them time to finish whatever order they were working on. When I came out it was the same. Went hear after had problems at other locations. But boy did I make a mistake. This location is worse than the others. Food and drinks were disgusting and could not be drank. Service is worse with rude staff and lack of management that seems not to care and seems they do not want to hear anything from guests. As I try to explain a d they called me a liar and asked me to leave. With our refunds or any thing to make it right. Worst Starbucks experience ever. I had a gift card from Christmas that I had put more money on that I tried to use this morning to buy a drink. The worker at the window was nice, no problem with her.. she ran it and said there was an error with my gift card. I was going to use my credit card but then she tried the gift card again and I guess another error popped up the it was reported lost or stolen. I don't know if it's because it's an old card and I rarely go to Starbucks or what. What I assume is the manager stormed over and announced that since my gift card was stolen, they would not be giving it back to me. She was extremely rude. I explained that I got it for Christmas and put more money on it, had the email confirmation but was in the drive thru and felt bad at how long I was taking to get my drink. This is a decent Starbucks to go to. I ordered on the app and then I drove over here. It took me about 5 minutes to drive here and I had to wait 5 more minutes for my drinks. It took longer than I expected for my drinks than I would've thought, it didn't look too terribly busy in there. The drink itself was good. Pretty expensive, but it is a Starbucks, so you know it will be. It was pretty clean, couple dirty spots, nice decorations. When an elderly 70's friend came in and had to use the restroom, they were told they couldn't use it without a purchase. I left there, seeing how he was treated... and will never return..a shame!. The staff at this location is always kind and helpful. They are apologetic when orders are not prepared properly and will ALWAYS offer to make it right (i.e. make it over or offer a refund). The challenge is 9 out of 10 orders, the drinks are not prepared as ordered. Often, when placing a mobile order, I am on the way to an appointment, church or the airport in Phoenix (this is why I order in advance). I'm going to start factoring in time for a "re-do" as it is mostly required. I'm honestly not sure what the issue is; why this keeps happening. Other than they get busy and don't take the time to read the drink customization which is printed and attached directly to the cup. If the drinks weren't so much money, I honestly wouldn't care. . . . .I would just drink it. But when I am spending $7+ for an order, I do expect it to be prepared correctly. This location has come a LONG way since they opened. Their service and accuracy now is very good. A good place for your Starbucks pitstop. My hunch is the part time managing provided by superstar Manager Anna from the Camp Verde store & formerly in Sedona, is in large part why this Cottonwood location has improved so significantly. read more

Super modern New Starbucks! Customer service was great and everyone had smiles on their faces. I came for happy hour for my buy 1, get 1 free. One of the drinks seemed a little weak- not sure if there was any espresso in it. But I was too lazy time complain since it was free. I think there may still be some learning curves here since this place looked like it just opened, but overall this place is new, clean, easy access and good amount of parking. Best to go through the drive thru. You'll get your food and drink at the same time and faster than ordering it online. From the time I ordered on the app to pick up, it took 25 minutes to get my drink and only 5 to get my food. There's a disconnect between the baristas and food warmer uppers. Still shocking how awful Starbucks is!!!!! No just product but service as well!!!! Literally 5 Barista's working at 3:15 in the afternoon. One car pulled up outside to the drive through as I walked in. There was one other person ordering a drink as I walked in. 4 of the Starbucks workers were talking behind the counter. The fifth person was taking the order from the gentleman in front of me. They obviously new each other and talked for a few minutes. It took over 10 minutes to rake my order after the person in front of me was done. It then took another 14 minutes before my tall latte was up. We had a great experience here thanks to the employee named Clover at the drive through. We tried ordering a grande drink in a trenta cup and asked to have the rest filled with lots of the cold foam (because why not?) and we were told they couldn't do that at this location. We ended up ordering a tall drink in a venti cup and asked for the rest to be cold foam. At the window we were surprised to be given the grande drink and a whole tall cup full of just the cold foam!!
