Just went here for the first time. I specifically asked the girl who took my order if they put Red Bull in the Kool Blue drink I got. She said no, and it was their own blend. As I pulled up to the window, I saw the person making my drink pouring a Red Bull in and when they gave it to me, I asked if there was Red Bull in it and they said yes. There seems to be either a communication or training issue here, because she also misquoted the sizes of the drinks saying that the large was 16 ounces when it is clearly more. read more

Visited Dutch Bros for the first time and I was greeted by the most nice and friendly employees. They were so patient with my family, took the time to explain things without making us feel rushed. They also took time to just chat and talk about where I'm from and how my trip is going etc. Just simple things like that mean a lot. Not sure why all of sudden Dutch Bros is so slow. The last three times I went it was more than a 20 minute wait. Normally 6-7 car line is about 10-12 minute wait which I'm okay with. 20 minute wait, l will keep driving if there is more than 5 cars. read more

Had heard great things about Dutch Bros and had to stop by. Two drive thru lanes that merge into one. Opted for the blended golden eagle which is vanilla and caramel and it was delicious, a little on the sweeter side. I wish there were options to change the milk. Someone takes your order from your car and then there is one window to pick up your drink. I also got a palm beach green tea that was refreshing but had a ton of ice in it. How do you even properly review Dutch Bros coffee, specifically, this location. I'll give it a go, but I can't promise it will be short. My wife and I are based in Central Florida. We are fortunate enough to have friends based in the Cottonwood area that we've visited almost every year since 2018 (pandemic threw a slight wrench one year). Without a doubt every single time we are in Arizona we visit Dutch Bros Coffee at least once a day, if not more. Dutch Bros is more than just coffee, it's an experience. From the moment you pull up to the double sided drive thru you are greeted with easily the friendliest, happiest person on the planet with a tablet and a smile. They always have a recommendation and seem genuinely interested in your day and your coffee choice. If you go there enough they'll quickly know your name and order. I don't know how DBs finds the happiest people on the planet, but without fail every time they do! Once you place your order you pull up to the window to see yet another friendly happy face waiting to repeat your order and deliver the goods. Within moments you'll have some of the, no scratch that -- you'll have the best drive thru coffee available! Dutch Bros tips: 1. Look up the menu ahead of time. There are a ton of options and frankly it can overwhelm you. This isn't a casual mission, do your homework and make an informed decision. 2. If you are lost or confused, ask for help from the Broista®, they know the menu and are ready to help. Every so often Ill spin the wheel (Metaphorically -- there no real wheel) and let the team pick a drink for me. They always hit! 3. Download the app -- make an account and collect points. You'll be surprised at how quickly you can get free drinks. 4. Look out for free sticker day -- I am not positive when they are, but from what I've seen it's around the beginning of the month. I am the biggest Dutch Bros fan and any time I find one I stop. I'm slowly working on making it to every Dutch Bros in Arizona. This is in a great location, there are two lanes that eventually turn into one. The employee we had at our car was awesome. I wish I'd gotten his name. So friendly and we talked about some of the baristas I know at the Dutch by my house. So friendly and smiling our entire convo. We had our drinks pretty quick even though they were already so busy. Drive- thru only or walk-up. Cashier recommended the Cinnamon oatmilk swirl. It was good. I enjoy my coffee hot but they have several iced and frozen drinks. All iced drink can be either. Small (12oz) drinks have two shots - yay to that! Many other coffee shops only have 1 shot to 12oz. I'll be back to try the caramelizer. read more

I have never been to dutch bros until recently and each time the workers there are working hard in the heat, but still have great attitude, friendly and nice! Their medium size is huge as well! Coffee is pretty good, I think they should have a drive thru intercom like most places so their workers don't have to stand in the heat to take verbal orders or at least give them an umbrella. I go to Dutch Bros all the time where I live, it's always busy (like 30 minute wait busy). At this location we drove right up to the window and we're done in 5 minutes! That's almost unheard of for Dutch Bros. I'm not complaining because it's that good. But it was nice to be in and out. The staff was so friendly (again typical for DB)! They said this location usually isn't busy so if you're looking for the best coffee GO HERE!!!! Golden Eagle has always been my go to drink. But they have energy drinks that resemble Red Bull, and I recommend the Galaxy Fish Rebel Iced. It's delicious as well! read more

Usually this location is awesome! I am kind of picky and normally they are perfect about getting the order right. Today there is a guy taking orders in the drive thru that I haven't seen before and I come every day. So he may be new and not trained all the way because I always have at least one of the drinks I order with special requests example: an aftershock rebel light lime, extra raspberry..I know that normally they do exactly that. Today..the guy told me it's not possible. All flavors are premixed. Well that's not at all true. I've watched them making my drinks every day and I see them add flavors. So I said, I don't see how that possible. Then all the flavors would taste exactly the same AND it wouldn't take 20 minutes to go thru the line..I asked him to write it anyway and thankfully the girl making the drinks knows how to do it right and confirmed verbally that it was how I ordered it and I could tell when I tasted it that it was right. I normally love going to this location, the people who work here are super sweet and always have a good attitude when I come through. I come through almost every day of the week. But today (Mothers day) me and my boyfriend went through the drive through. For Mother's Day they were giving out stickers! Me a mourning mother who lost her daughter two years ago went through and completely spaced asking for a sticker, so we went back and walked up to the window because there was a line in the drive thru . It was the same girl who helped us in the drive thru. I was super excited to get the sticker. When I told her that I just came through and forgot to ask for a sticker, she replied "I'm only supposed to give them out to mother's." My boyfriend then replied "she is a mom" the girl replied and said "Really? Where's your kid at then" I've never been so heartbroken with a response ever. Or so shocked on how rude someone could be. To question where my kid is??? If your reading this. SORRY to break it to you but I lost her at 37 weeks, try to be more sensitive or kind with your words. Especially if you don't know. OTHERWISE. I'm a big Starbucks fan, but I also love local coffee shops, so now that Dutch Bros has been open in Cottonwood for a full week, I thought I'd give it a try. First off, I prefer going to a counter (in this case a window) rather than sit in my car with the engine running, waiting for a brew. One window, for placing orders and picking up orders - awkward for the people standing there ordering. First big strike: Very Loud Music playing over the two picnic tables where you can wait for your order, or where you can consume it (if you don't mind the Very Loud Music.) Strike # Two: Basic menu at the window with no flavors or variations listed. I asked about latte flavors and the young attendant rattled off about 20 different flavors available. When asked why they don't just have a menu showing all this, he said it hadn't arrived yet, but would be forthcoming. Strike # Three: Requested a basic Chai. (Chai was listed in big letters). Ohhh... we're out of Chai, can I get you something else? Questionable Strike # Four (4 strikes?) : Cold Brew (Nitro Infused), listed at $5.75, size: one can. Can? Yes, we get it in a can and can steam it or serve it over ice as a medium or large. I didn't think to ask how they make one can into a medium or large. Drinks tasted okay, but very off putting as described above. P.S. went to their website afterward to see the full menu; virtually no help, again, items are listed by name, e.g. "Breve": "911", "Billy Jean", "Snickerdoodle", but no where does it say what a Breve is, or what goes into it. (Detailed nutritional information abounds). Conclusion: They are building a new Starbucks a quarter mile down the road from this new Dutch Bros.
