I was in this area with my grandson as he was checking out a book store that sells vinyl records. Needed a wake me up so searched for a Starbucks. I ordered my usual Mocha Frappuccino. Worst one I ever had. It barely had any coffee taste and that was because it had a strong chocolate flavor. I don't even write reviews but it's crazy I've been going to this Starbucks location almost every Sunday, but this Sunday 4/20/25 gave my order half of my items I got were correct but one of the drinks I paid for specifically said NO whole milk sub or Oat milk not only that asked for extra crunch pieces in the drink and got the wrong thing the first time. The first time messing up that's cool but had to make the drink three times and it was still wrong. Location needs better staff and people that actually want to do their job the right way and not have an attitude with the customer because it's not what I ordered. The staff that is actually working have zero personality, no smiles, no warmth. I asked one young lady to check on my order since it had been over 20 minutes. She looked up at me bothered saying they are just now pulling the ticket for my drink... Not a typical Starbucks experience. As someone who has worked in customer service for over 15 years, I know what it's like to be busy, and even not want to be at work but this was by far the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. Ordered an iced chai latte for my sister and she almost drank from it before spotting a long black hair in the cup. Both of us were grossed out, as her hair is short and pink. I went back through the drive-thru, asked for a venti to make up for the issue, and still got a grande. I came to this location because I heard all the good it was doing in the neighborhood - however folks, we have things we need to work on. Specifically - customer service. When I finally made it to the window, I was not greeted or even given a total for my drink, he simply took my gold card swiped it and handed it back to me, came back and passed me my drink out the window - not a hello, thank you, here's your drink, have a good day . . . Very friendly and personal staff. I love that the employees embraces their own style, sense of hair and fashion when it comes to serving coffee. The space here is very open and light. If you need a conference room for brain storming you can actually make reservation do so. The ora of this location is different from most, but I am really glad to be able to stop in on my way to or from church. read more

I try to avoid the Starbucks as much as I can on my way to work because I know even if I order 10 minutes more on the mobile app estimated time frame it's still not going to be ready by the time I get there. In a desperate need for a coffee. I ordered today and I sat and watched how the workers worked tossing food for mobile orders, not announcing the name when drinks were ready I sat there and waited for the lady to call my drink out, but she never did so I got up And just grabbed my drink. I wouldn't be surprised if these ppl spit in drinks the way they handle themselves shows how much they love their job. This is a brand new Starbuck's and it's only my second time coming and picking up at this location. So far all Has been great abs they make my coconut Caramel macchiatos just perfect. The service has been great and fast which is always important with coffee in the Irving since we all want to get yo work in time.
