Worst Starbucks I've ever been to! They are too slow. I have to wait forever regardless of if I go in or use the drive thru

I am so tired of leaving my house early to stop at Starbucks on Chapel Hill only to find they are once again behind both in the drive through line and inside. Come on!! read more

The coffee was excellent as usual but the service was very slow. It took me 20 minutes to get a regular cup of coffee. Barista Brian took my order and didn't ask me for my name. I stood there along with everybody else, and after 20 minutes I asked McKenzie for my coffee and she apologized. She then took care of me, thank you. I was told that regular coffee should be made immediately that's why they don't ask for your name. Maybe Brian should be retrained so other customers will not be inconvenienced . read more

This Starbucks is one of the best Starbucks I have been to. They are so friendly, especially the evening crew, and the drinks are always consistently good. I just have to say in their defense, if you have to wait, be patient, don't cop an attitude because you have to wait. These people are making drinks nonstop and trying to make it perfect for you. This is the only Starbucks between Anniston Ala and Atlanta, so don't be offended there is a long line and lots of ppl stop here. This is a really high volume store, so don't be offended if they run out of something, it is not the barista's fault. I love the rootbeer soda, they have been out for a while, so instead of getting offended, guess what? I put my big girl panties on and order something else. I think if you are offended so easily, maybe you should stay home. Anyway, I am never disappointed when I go to this Starbucks! You guys rock! read more

I have visited this Starbucks several times. It was very busy today, as expected. I ordered my usual, a double tall soy white chocolate mocha and I don't mind having whipped cream every now and then. Today I was hungrier than usual, so I ordered a Reduced Fat Turkey Bacon Cheddar English Muffin, which also included egg white. While waiting for my coffee, the manager (I am assuming she was the manager because she appeared to be in charge) came over and explained that they were out of that particular breakfast sandwich. She offered a different kind, but I declined. When I got to the register she ended up voiding out my whole order and comp'd my drink. This made my day. It was a wonderful way to compensate for the inconvenience. I really wish my good mood could have remained. I received my drink and left the parking lot. As I drove off and took a sip, I noticed I was given a tall mocha. This can be very annoying if someone were on their way to work and did not have time to return the incorrect drink. This happened to me in the past and I did not have time to turn around. I am writing this review today because it is the second time this has happened, at this location. I went back to the location and returned the drink to the Barista. She began to explain drink codes and how the mistake happened. I worked for Starbucks in the past, so whatever...As she made my new drink, I noticed her drizzle caramel in there. She said to herself, "Crap why did I do that"? She then took a spoon and scooped some caramel out. At this point, I was over it. I told her never mind and walked out. I understand this is a busy location, but COME ON STARBUCKS! Baristas should be used to the fast paced Starbucks life by now. There is no room for mistakes, when customers are most likely stopping by before they go to work. I understand it is Saturday, but this store is not prepared for a busy day. There are no systems in place to accommodate for the traffic they get. With six baristas there should be no problem executing customers orders in an orderly and timely fashion. The trash is over flowing in the lobby while three baristas stand beside the drive thru window cracking jokes and horse playing. read more

Always the slowest Starbucks in town. Can wait 20-30 min in line for a drink. Poor customer service.

I had to wait 20 minutes in the drive thru line to get a cup of coffee. It is the slowest Starbucks that I have been too. The worst part is once in the drive thru you can not get out after waiting forever. Plus the end of the drive thru line backs up into the street. read more

Stopped here on the way back to Birmingham. I could've driven back to Birmingham in the time it took us to get our coffee!

The slowest Starbucks ever!!! However I do not feel it is the employees or manager's fault. The amount of people that go far exceeds what the store can handle. Corporate needs to step in and either hire more people or build another Starbucks in town. The drive thru is insane and inside it is packed. Multiple times they have "run out" of iced coffee and typical wait time is 23 minutes or more. It used to be my favorite spot but I dread going because of the experience. Corporate... I went here today, and I was extremely disappointed. The service was slow, as usual, so I had to wait over 5 minutes to get what I purchased. They were out of almond croissants and french roast coffee. The medium roast was the only one they had available. To add insult to injury, they gave me the wrong pastries. Very friendly staff. My boyfriend of a year and a half just left for basic and as a pick me up I went to this Starbucks, I ordered a berry sangria tea and ended up waiting thirty minutes for it. There were only four employees working and about forty customers all the while their ticket machine was broke. When I brought up how much longer it would be they brewed fresh tea and gave me a complimentary frappe and upgraded my sangria to a large. Thank you for the staff for being so kind to me when I needed it. I even tipped them 5 dollars and I would've added more if I had more cash on me. Great service!! read more

Not often in this area but stopped here quickly today. I used to work at Starbucks as well as other family owned coffee shops. There was not a long line but I waited way too long for the two drinks I ordered. Carlos took my order and was very sweet and professional. However, the guy making my drinks took a while and this is one of the worst cappuccinos I've ever had. The shots sat too long so I have an extremely bitter drink now. He also made it with nonfat milk when I did not ask for it. I can tell by the color of the drink and taste. I'm very disappointed because I know how easy and quick a cappuccino is too make. read more

Why people will stand in a ridiculous line for 10-15 minutes to order coffee that's more milk, sugar and anything other than coffee is beyond me - but occasionally my girl wants Starbucks and I get stuck going here. I drink plain black coffee, pour it in a cup and let me be on my way. Parking here can be really tight depending on the time of day because Starbucks shares this building with a Verizon store. During busy times it can be a challenge just getting in and out of a parking spot. I don't like their drive thru because once you are in line you are stuck there... no way to get out of the line if you get stuck in a long wait The store is small, with limited seating and I can't think of a time that I have been there that I could have sat inside had I wanted too.. seats always full. Sometimes the line moves quickly, other times not so much. The employees have always been nice and professional but doesn't seem to be much sense of urgency to get the coffee made and the customer on their way. I have not have the experience of the poorly made drinks some of the others have had but staff just needs to get organized and speed it up back there a little read more

Great coffee but it takes so long to get through the line! Employees will tell you store is inderstaffed. Takes 15 - 20 minutes to get my caffeine fix!! This is the closest starbucks to me - will have to start driving to find one that can make and sell my morning coffee without wasting so much time. read more

Always have friendly service. Occasionally my order will be completely wrong, but it just helps me try more coffee.

I am a daily Starbucks visitor, but thankfully not to this store. I experienced the most rude customer service at the drive thru. I asked the drive thru employee how they were doing in which they replied "I'm good" my wife and I then pulled up to the window in which they opened and told me total and that was it. When I was handed my first drink, I said thank you... No reply... When I was handed my second drink and said thank you, no reply. On top of all this my wife's drink was incorrect. This an extremely disappointing experience from one of my most valued and respected businesses. I don't intend to be back to this specific branch. After this experience, on our way home I did call and speak to a manager where she did try to help, although it all sounded extremely text book without one point of genuineness to it. Hope they can get this turned around or whatever the staff member that was extremely rude, get back on track in her life personally and work related. read more
