It's was in the mere 40s this morning, so I needed my hand warmer, and by that I mean my hot coffee. As it was so so cold... I used the handy app, in the comfort of my warm car (not driving) c to order the lovely cup of warmth. Let's be honest on the app, you can order it all kinds of ways like... 1/3 decaf, steamed, ristretto shot, non-fat, things that would just be a huge mouthful to say at the counter.. so I use that app and customize the heck out of my hand warmers.. drinks.. The baristas here, are alwys on their A game. The hardest thing about this location is the parking lot. Several high index businesses all completing for similar spots and assertive drivers. So. I wish Starbucks would go back to letting people pour their own creamer and put in their own sweeteners. Usually the person behind the counter could really care less how your coffee turns out if you order a regular coffee with some half-and-half and some sweetener. This happens to me all the time I asked for my coffee with extra half-and-half and two Stevia's, and they end up giving me a little splash of half-and-half and no sweetener at all. I'm so sick and tired of Starbucks not caring about your drink unless you order some six dollar drink. And then even then good luck. read more

Customer Service is not good. Came in off of the freeway to get a drink and use the restroom (urgently while on a road trip). Restroom had cleaning barriers and a trash can blocking the restroom entrance, with the door wide open. I asked the barista and the cashier if I could use it, and I stated CLEARLY that I had an emergency. They both said that I would need to wait 15 min. The floor was dry, the restroom looked fine, so I asked if I could just get in for my emergent need. Their answer, "You have Subway, McDonalds, and plenty of other places that you can try to use the restroom in.." I said, but I am a Starbucks Gold Card Holder and wanted a drink as well.." they shook their heads and said, "15 minutes"... I will never go to this Starbucks again. After all that Restroom Controversy that you all just 'survived' and you STILL DON'T cater to your loyal customers' needs...WOW. Corporate will be hearing from me. This Starbucks is unlike my OC ones....they have a huge french press called The Clover for my iced coffee which they grind the beans then and there. Then brew it cup by cup. Its like a reverse french press. The brew method leaves the coffee without any bitterness. BTW barista said only 5 SBucks have this machine. Now I feel special. It was the most perfect cup of coffee. I think Im in love....can you be in love with coffee cuz I can. The cashier was kind of cute in a coffee shop kind of way... He fit the typical profile. I think this is one of the most efficient and organized starbucks that I go to. I am very critical when it comes to my coffee's and i've never had an issue with them getting my mobile orders wrong. Every time i'm there the drink is waiting for me on the table like it should be instead of having to wait to get a barrista attention to get your drink stashed in the back. * No drive thru which I prefer for mobile orders * Clean establishment and bathrooms * Not the biggest so wouldn't recommend for big business meetings read more

Same predictable Starbucks environment. Somewhat chaotic line situation with a very small waiting area. Can get congested and the flow of traffic within the store could use the skills of a quality civil engineer or something. Though I've noticed this is not unique to this location I find most Starbucks' locations to have his flaw inside. If you're a Starbucks fan then this location will be fine. If not, then opt for a local shop. Those are the places I relish and I'll be able to use standard English instead of Starbucks jargon. I have consistently been going to this Starbucks for 8 years and it is easily one of the most consistent Starbucks locations I've been too. Though their mobile is down sometimes, the line is never too long to walk in and get a drink. My favorite worker is Adrian, who always asks me how my day is and makes the most consistent iced chai teas. I have been to other Starbucks locations in the area but this one takes the cake! read more

I am happy to say that after going to 3 stores I finally found a store that is brewing something other than Signature Blend for their bold. I know they say it is a bold buy I beg to differ. This Starbucks is the worst one I have ever frequented. Unfortunately it's also the one that is closest to my work so I just keep torturing myself by going back. There is an older woman and a young man with glasses who are wonderful, work quickly and have great customer service but the rest of the employees seem like they don't really know what they're doing or just don't care. The young man with dark hair who often wears a baseball cap (unfortunately I believe he is the manager of this store which explains things) has terrible customer service, always looks annoyed to be working and moves as slow as molasses no matter how long the line is. Next time I get his name I'm going to try to call corporate because I have had several bad experiences with him at this point. Since covid, they keep the mobile orders behind the counter but they don't greet you when you come I. So you have to awkwardly stand there until you can get someone's attention and often time you can see your drink just sitting right there behind the counter. It's really frustrating. read more

If you're looking for a Starbucks location to get a quick coffee and pastry...this location will not be the location to go especially during morning rush hour. I'm giving it three stars only because a barista named Josh was nice enough to check on my order. It's tough to get in and out of the parking g lot and it's such a small location that it is tough to get from the line to the pick up window. I ordered a grande iced coffee and two bacon Gouda breakfast sandwiches and it took me at least 20 minutes to get my order. It would have only taken 10 minutes if I just ordered a drink. There was one barista (Josh) making the drinks and he was cranking the drinks out which was great! To top it off he was very pleasant and helpful. Even with how busy and occupied he was he noticed that I had been waiting there for quite a while and asked me what items I was still waiting on and I told him - my 2 bacon guidance sandwiches. And he got someone to get me my sandwiches! How awesome is that?!?! Otherwise I had asked some lady that was making the sandwiches where my order was and she said "I'm working through the orders...I think I saw yours" - when I watched how she was managing her time she was just not making sandwiches she was all over the place - going in and out of the stock room, helping others fulfill their orders, and focusing on other things instead of just focusing on the sandwich and pastry orders that were piling up in her station. If you're also looking for a place to focus and relax again this location would not be the place for you as it's so small and tight chances are someone will bump into you and your table while you're trying to work and focus. Vente Americano is basically all I ever get at Starbucks. I love Starbucks for the convenience, their consistency, and the service. This location has become a traditional pit stop when I'm heading back to Las Vegas from San Diego. The location doesn't have a drive thru and the lines can get a little long. Do yourself a favor and download the app. I recommend ordering your drink online, skip the line, walk in, and just pick up your drink. The baristas here are always friendly and efficient, which might be the reason I always come back. This is my least favorite of the 10 or so Starbucks in Escondido. Everytime I've been in this store, it smells like an outhouse. Also, for whatever reason, this store is extraordinarily slow. When it comes to coffee, I'm easy. I never order complex drinks like frappuccinos or extra-hot-two-pump-halfcalf-nonfat-soy-upsidedown-caramel-mochalatte. Just simple espresso, or a simple americano. And without fail, even with nobody in line, I always find myself waiting longer than normal at this location. There are only a few things you expect from Starbucks, and at the top of the list is a fast cup of decent coffee. On the positive, the staff are generally friendly, and if you're not rushing down the 15 to a meeting, and have time to sit outside, they have a decent patio. read more

It's your run of the mill Starbucks so you know what you're going to expect and how to expect it. Conveniently located to the west of the 15 freeway provides easy on and off access to the freeway. It is tucked in a little strip center so if you didn't know it was here, you might miss it. Parking at this location can be a little tight. This location is in a great spot being it's right off the interstate and has a clover machine, yip pee!! Heather was awesome, I told her I wanted a coffee over the clover (ask me for details or go to starbucks.com for details, if you don't know what this means) and she did something I usually don't find with Starbucks employees.
