My first visit to this Starbucks and i was blown away by the service! Lori and Sebastian were examples of textbook customer service and it was completely sincere. Lori spent time with a customer explaining about the various types of beans and what flavors came with each until the customer decided on the coffee type to try. She obviously knows her ingredients because she helped this man figure out he likes blonde coffee with 4 shots of espresso. That combo would have never crossed my mind. I understand that they are all working hard but I need to lower my expectations or not order from this store anymore. When I order ahead, I never seem to get my drinks in the time frame per the app. Almost always, I arrive, and they deliver one of my two drinks. After delivering the first drink they often move on to other orders and eventually my other drink arrives. Today my second drink arrived 10-15 minutes after my first drink. This happens almost everytime. I'm not sure why they start my order and don't complete it before moving on to the next order. When I asked, they said it's because I ordered coffee with tea and they're different stations. However, I ordered two teas. Then they said it's because a large 10 drink order came in. What does that have to do with my question. It's very frustrating because if you ask, they think your complaining when you simple want to know why? Needless to say, there process seems very unorganized, and it negates ordering ahead when someone orders a drink at he counter while your waiting for your drink and the person who just ordered at the counter receives their same drink type ahead of yours. We spend an average of $120-$200 a month at that store and they have lost me. This is not the employees' fault as they seem to be working hard and are friendly. This is management! I'd recommend not ordering ahead at this store unless you have time. read more

I go here almost everyday and for the last few months unfortunately I've had nothing but bad service. My mobile orders get lost or stolen from other people, I mobile order 10-15 mins before I get there (I go right before work) and i still have to wait 10 mins when I get there for my order. So I started just going in and ordering in person, and the last 3 times they have been made wrong or I've paid for venti and gotten grande. I have not wanted to leave a review except I've only ONCE been given a $4 card to use later after my drink was made wrong. There is one person there whose there almost every time I go in and he is very unfriendly and demanding not to only customers but to his coworkers and it's hard to see being in the food/beverage industry. This is the second time I have come here on a Sunday late morning , where it takes 20 minutes waiting in line . All of us in line were wondering what's taking so long ? I recognized the same lady at the cash register. Last time I thought , OK, she must be "new on the job" but still, this is getting ridiculous ! I don't give Yelp reviews for Starbucks really (unless I get a survey on my experience), and part of it is because I go so often I expect a certain level of standard. This Starbucks, however, was a lot of fun. I had to be in Escondido that evening and needed a place to work for a few minutes and avoid late afternoon traffic. All of the baristas were really friendly and lots of locals came in, who were recognized too. It was a really nice place to be! I would drop in again for sure. read more

Same as pretty much every other SB location in terms of service and product. Friendly staff. Parking can be a real pain, and if you go in the morning (before 10), be prepared for a line out the door. It's a small shop, and feels crowded even with only a few patrons. But they make the best of it. Conveniently off the I-15. read more

The workers on this day were moving at a pace that reminded me of a bowel movement in need of a serious laxative. There has been a big turn around in staff and the professionalism turned around as well but not in a good way. Today the barista handed me my frappacino and it was over flowing down the sides. Manager change and now this place is not up to par. Bathroom is a mess, boxes stacked in the limited seating area, new staff members are less than friendly. My drinks are now completely wrong more often than not. Mobile orders are completed after they have cleared the line no matter if my order was placed before their arrival at the store or not. I have had to wait 8+ minutes AFTER arriving at the store for my single item mobile order (iced tea) to be prepared and that is only after prompting the barista to complete my order. I stopped here yesterday around 10:45 AM. The staff seemed like they wanted nothing to with the place. There was a man in a wheelchair that they were telling him to move up when I could just walk around, making him move to the other register(the set up was not handicap accessible at all) they were very rude, I would see the staff rolling there eyes at the customers. I ordered a iced coconut hazelnut machiatto, and they gave me a totally different drink. Didn't want to say anything cause I was already waiting forever for my drink, but when I ordered my drink the lady acted like she never heard of it, and got my order COMPLETELY WRONG. This Starbucks is pretty convenient if you happen to be in the area and you don't want to get stuck in mall traffic. Sad though that I don't frequent this store too often these days. This Starbucks is horrible! Every time I go there the drinks are always tasteless and some of the employees are so rude. Today I decided to give them a chance by ordering a Venti drink. After I paid I wanted to get a copy of my receipt but the cashier wearing a hat just ignored me and went off to make drinks. Then when my drink was called it was a grande. I told the Starbucks cashier guy I ordered a venti drink and I didn't get the receipt and I told him to please double check and he responded by telling me he charged me a grande so I just walked off. For some reason I felt he was not telling the truth so I looked at my credit card app and found out he actually charged me a venti so I called Starbucks head quarters to complain and they clarified that I was charged a venti and they apologized. I dont really live close to this one, and I pass one on my way to this location. But I do come here every morning on my way to work in RB. I even drive out of my way on the weekends. Staff here very helpful. I got a new verissimo coffee maker for Xmas. They offered to show me how theirs worked, and recommended coffee. Great customer service. A far cry from the one on auto parkway where staff was grumpy when taking my order and serving my coffee. read more

The personnel at the registers are always nice, but the baristas 7/10 are very rude. There are baristas who are really sweet but most are rude. I usually order by noble order and at other Starbucks they have the stuff in a place where you can see it when walking in. Ask for your name and they give it to you. At this place they have it hidden and ask you for every item instead of just your name. And they usually forget spoons or cream cheese. Or when they forget straws they just throw them at you instead of handing them or placing then next to the drink. I really do love Starbucks but most people at this location really don't care much about customer service. I really hope they fix the problem because we love Starbucks and go everyday and every other location is wonderful. read more
