Pretty dark, dim, no life to this Starbucks location. The interior and exterior makes the place feel empty and lifeless. Although the workers were lovely and conversational. The barista, Casey, who took my order-- had the most prettiest pink glitter eyeshadow combo. It was a great contrast to see in a place so dim. I don't know who reads these reviews but some murals or artwork on the walls, would be a nice addition since the chairs, walls, ceilings, and tables are so dark. I went with a Grande Iced Caramel Latte. It was with some new pebble like ice, coffee wasn't very strong. Next time I'd get a different drink or ask for it to be less sweet or more espresso. It was ok, but not the best. But it was the only "coffee shop" in the area in walking distance that was open so late, so it works. Women's Bathroom, was for the most part clean. But the soap dispenser had odd orange things floating inside it. Suspicious. Lots of interior seating and outdoor, everyone does their own thing here. It's a drive thru as well which is nice and it def wasn't busy. So up to you which direction you'd go if you come here. read more

Honestly the one of the nicest looking and presenting Starbucks. Usually now at Starbucks I am greeted, but not really remembered. At this Starbucks I met a lovely partner named Kenda who made my experience so magical. She remembered my name throughout my long stay through any encounters we had. She was the kindest soul I have ever met and hope she is doing well. The Starbucks inside was very spacious and futuristic which was a cool approach. I got a matcha and as usual it was amazing. Was driving North on the I15 and needed a caffeine fix and mobile ordered here. They were quick to serve up my caramel Frappuccino and another coffee and sandwich. Service was great as usual and the place was really big in relation to regular ones. The only problem was the location inside the parking lot where I had to go back all the way around to get back on the fwy instead of an exit really close but that's not their fault... good spot for coffee!! read more

I was out for a walk and on my way back needed my morning coffee so I mobile ordered my iced Americano. Pretty basic drink I know but it was made just as I asked and tasted great. Since this is a drive thru location as well there were plenty of staff and it was busy both in the store and at the drive thru. My drink was ready shortly after I ordered and arrived. Lots of seating inside and outside on the patio and this location has a nice variety of products from mugs, cups, gift cards and coffee. Plus it is fairly close to the 15 so convenient if you have a long drive and need some caffeine. read more

I usually only find myself here early on a Saturday morning before running a nearby half marathon in December. I would eat my pre-race CLIF bar, drink a coffee, and use their restroom before heading over to the race. My last visit, I ordered a grande medium roast Pike Place Roast on their mobile app. Service was pretty much me just waiting for my drink to show up at the mobile order pick-up spot. Understandably, most of the attention was directed towards the drive-thru customers. Still it was a nice place to relax a bit and enjoy a little bit of breakfast before running a race. read more

Formely Wendy's, this spacious Starbucks with plenty of seating inside and outside is great. Baristas are super friendly, coffee drinks always good, layout of the store is perfect, with a mix of people working and also pairs of friends chatting (or even small groups of ladies knitting over coffee, sweet!). There is a drive through, but I never use it, I just prefer to be inside as it is very comfortable and perfect for me when I want to have some work done. read more

Came in right before closing and met the most wonderful barista by the name of Stacey... she was super kind and took the time to talk while she was making my drink and even recommended a delicious drink with brown sugar cold foam... it was delicious!!! This was actually the worst experience I have ever experienced in my whole Starbucks history! I came to the drive-through ordered my drink. It wasn't right all it tasted like was coffee. I came inside the girl that helped me was very nice (considering she was clocking out to go home.) and she didn't seem bothered by it at all, as I waited for my drink to be remade. It came out and was wrong again. But I didn't complain. I just grabbed a Splenda and the lady yelled at me for touching the Splenda lol and told me she needs to throw all of them away now. Worst Starbucks I've honestly ever been to. I've ordered the same drink 4 times this week 3 of which the orders were done thru Uber Eats app. Every single time the drink was made incorrectly. An honestly for very lazy things not enough shots too many shots of espresso. No foam but they freaking charge for everything so when I'm paying for something the expectation it to receive what I paid for. To get the order done correctly. I've worked as a barista before it's not even a complicated order. When I went to get my drink fixed they acted as if I was an inconvenience to them when they made the mistake continuously again and again. they said they fixed the drink but remade the same mistake !! After driving there twice in one day still didn't get the right drink !! I don't advise you go to this location if you want a drink done properly. Go across the street to one where not only are they beyond kind but they trained properly on how to make a drink! read more

This is nice Starbucks and they made me a pretty good Chestnut Praline Latte, but they really need to spend a little time keeping the place cleaner. The chestnut praline was good but a little on the sweet side for more. The chestnut and praline flavors were noticeable and the espresso flavor was good too. When I first arrived, I used the restroom and learned that the soap dispenser was out of soap, so I told employee that took my order. After spending about an hour there, I revisited the restroom before I left, only to learn they had not refilled nor cleaned the restroom. They need to not only stock and clean the restroom, but also sweep the floors of the store regularly as well, because where I was sitting, there sure was a lot to see on the floor. read more

This starbucks sucks, not only did my drink not taste like what I ordered & was missing cinnamon dolce, but they literally gave me 2 sips worth as the cup is full of nothing but ice. This is so disrespectful to customers. Almost $7 to pay for nothing but a venti sized cup of ice. Ridiculous... not to mention, when i first got there, the staff looked at me & just ignored me & continued their conversation. COVID-19 Visit: While I was out with my kids doing a curbside pickup at Best Buy in the same shopping plaza I dropped a drink order as an extra treat. This location has a convenient drive thru that is almost always busy, which usually sours my desire to visit unless I have time to enter the store, which is rare. To limit any potential exposure, I opted to pick up my order via the drive thru. I was fortunate that my arrival was when the drive thru traffic was very light and got in and out like about 5 minutes. I announced my arrival at the drive thru and have my name on my order. The staff working the drive thru confirmed my order was ready. All the store staff I witnessed were wearing masks. This is a busy location but is run smoothly. I often come in to study and always receive great service. Today I witnessed two different customer issues solved by the staff with ease and professionalism. The staff definitely goes above and beyond to ensure their customers are pleased with their experience. The manager - not sure of his name but he has blonde hair and gauges - is doing a great job. Like others have stated, the staff could improve on the cleanliness of this location. Also, service can be hit and miss too so I usually end up just going to the location on Scripps Poway Parkway as they offer stellar service over there and very clean. The last several times I've come there, my drink always gets messed up. Why do I go here then? Cause it's the closest to me and sometimes, convenience clouds my brain. On good days, my drink is perfect but that's a rarity. Pros: The best part about this location is that it is spacious. Lots of seating and plenty of outdoor seating as well, which is pet friendly to my knowledge. Parking can get crazy because it shares the space with TJ Maxx, Best Buy and PetSmart. I'm not too happy with this Starbucks only because the line for the drive-thru is about 25 cars deep. I know the employees can only work so fast but there are customers in their cars that are yelling and screaming at other customers in their cars and it becomes like a raging battle to who can get to the drive-thru window first it's not appealing at all. Somebody should be out in the line of customers either taking orders or attempting to call the customers down in their car because sooner or later somebody's going to break out in a fight so it's just really frustrating and it puts everything into perspective that it's really not worth it to be in the Drive-Thru. read more
