They wouldn't honor the free refill to refill an iced coffee as long as you haven't left the lobby. I've never had a Starbucks tell me I couldn't get a refill of iced coffee and I work most days on my computer in them. She eventually did on my second attempt when I showed her the Starbucks policy online on my phone. I have been coming to this location since they opened. The main reason is location/convience, but I have encountered MANY rude and impatient female baristas over the years. They seem annoyed, snotty and short with me. To avoid this I TRY to place a mobile order so I do not have to order in person. However, recently, I went through drive-thru and had a very pleasant experience. Myranda was patient and kind. Threw me off a little to be honest. I like this Starbucks by the mall. It's easy to get to and it's got a lot of people working. It's usually lightly busy but the line always moves fast. I always park and walk in and not wait in a 10-15 min drive line wasting all my gas. It's spacious inside with lots of tables and good internet. The baristas are always polite here. Today I felt Christmassy and got a peppermint latte. I get half and half as my steamer so it's called Breve! I always use my app to get my stars too. This is a pretty Starbucks inside. While I normally go to the Milton location, I've never had any issues at this location while getting my refresher beverages. My daughter loves the coffee here too. Neither of us ever experienced any issues with ordering or how we are treated. It's a lovely large location that seems to be well stocked in products as well. Very friendly and courteous with impatient Satrbuckers who were running late to work. They have a very high rate of first time makes and are always friendly and approachable. This is the first store where I've seen more than 2x Black Aprons working the same shift, this time 4! 4 Black Aprons in one shift, unbelievable . After a hot day hiking in the hills, this Starbucks was a welcome oasis to rest and rejuvenate. There is a small parking lot but it seems to be large enough. I think they do a major drive through business here as it is on the way into Flagstaff from the east. As usual, my high expectations were met. Four different coffees and four very satisfied customers. Two cold brews, one nitro brew and one hot latte. This Starbucks has a spacious interior with space to work or relax. The barista was very efficient and our drinks were all served quickly. The drive through consisted of a steady stream of cars the whole time we were there. We waited over 35 minutes for 2 drinks!!! Never ever has this happened at Starbucks. The few employees were friendly and were hustling but definitely not enough staff at this location. So ridiculous! They keep getting orders wrong at this location. I'm already not a fan of Starbucks, to be fair. But when you ask for sugar free cinnamon dolce & they're out & don't tell you & just change it to sugar free vanilla & add extra whipped cream when you asked for none it makes it so my diabetic self can't even drink what I paid for which sucks. I keep telling myself I'll stop getting things here but I've got a friend who loves Starbucks so we go here sometimes for them. Handled my coconut milk latte order quickly and perfectly executed. My husband orders expresso roast pour overs. Takes 5 minutes but worth the wait. If your doing mobile you order a dark roast but call so its ready when u get there. Perfectly done. And if course our favorite. Egg white egg bites with sweet peppers. Yikes...worst branch of starbucks I have witnessed. I've been a fan of the company for years but after multiple visits I found some workers ruining the experience for everyone. Short tempered and blunt, they literally shove your coffee at you in the drive thru and never say thank you. Other workers show the standard training and deliver excellent customer service, which is why I was a regular. I've worked in a restaurant a for many years, so I try my best to respect the job and not complain for mistakes. I pay extra in tips when my order is fixed, and try to keep my orders simple if I'm in a drive thru. But the experience here finally drove me (and I'm sure many other locals) away. Today, a young girl (maybe high school age) was chewing gum at the window. Glaring at me when I asked how her day was going, she repeated my order back wrong, and did not offer any way to fix it after charging my credit card. This was weird because there was nothing off about the interaction at the speaker where I first made the order. She had handed over a latte, and forgot the breakfast sandwich. I politely asked if they were out of the breakfast sandwich I ordered out and she said she would check again. She just stood there and waited for someone else to. Luckily another worker noticed my order, quickly warmed up the missing sandwich, and passed it along. Then the girl proceeded to slam the drive thru window in my face, shocking even the people behind me. I later found my car singled out and vandalized while at my work parking lot, just a few blocks over. We don't have a security camera so I won't be pressing charges since no permanent damage beyond drawings on my windows were done. It's pretty easy to not see this as coincidence as the starbucks window worker was my one social interaction outside of work on a normal week day. I'm also confused on how I was a bad customer during the maybe 8 minutes we interacted. Whoever is hiring on employees at this branch needs start matching the corporate standards. I know I'm not a big deal as one customer, but your regular customers like me are going to leave if management is not improved. read more

Asked a very basic question (price of reusable cup) and she did nor know answer and didn't seem interested in finding out. Food case was 90 percent t empty but when asked she rattled off all the things they had available--she just could not be bothered to restock the case. With Starbucks having such a good reputation of treating employees well, I was quite surprised by this behavior.
