I tried the Iced Double Berry Matcha at Starbucks and just swapped it to whole milk. It was actually really good and not nearly as sweet as I expected. The berry flavor adds a nice fruity twist without overpowering the matcha. With whole milk, it tastes smoother and creamier overall. I ordered through the mobile app and my drink was ready super fast. The store itself is also pretty spacious, so it's a comfortable spot to hang out for a bit. If you've been curious about this one but worried it might be too sweet, I'd say it's definitely worth a try. I've gone to this Starbucks a couple of times but each time, they seem to be running out of my order or I would have to make some adjustments to my order because they do have what I want. I think their customer service is on point, I simply wish they had what I wanted in my mobile order. If not, I would have been informed enough to go to another location. Super busy location on Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 pm. However by 1:30 pm everyone has gone home for lunch with their families. A local Vietnamese coffee shop community meeting spot for many different groups here. They are very nice people here and the restroom was surprisingly clean today. Restroom is wheelchair accessible for disabled people too. Excellent cup of pumpkin spice latte today. Only on one pump of syrup not five because you are really looking for flavorful notes of pumpkin spice and not sugar insulin overload here. The joyful bliss of getting older in America today. Nice Starbucks location with spacious, clean seating area. Located by the cross streets Brookhurst and Westminster, this place can be easily spotted. Most of the time, service is extremely quick so is there rarely is a long wait time. The great thing about Starbucks is how customizable their drinks are so you can adjust and add on pretty much anything which gives customers freedom to endlessly experiment with drinks. I ordered a grande mango dragonfruit frappuccino which is not on the menu. It is a vanilla bean frappuccino with 2 scoops of mango dragon fruit inclusion. The flavor is nice and balanced however a bit too sweet. I also ordered a tall strawberry cream mocha which also isn't on the menu. To order, ask the cashier for an iced white mocha coffee with sweet cream cold foam and request for them to blend strawberry puree into the sweet cream cold foam. It is one of the best drinks I've ever had at Starbucks, I highly recommend getting this! It is so creamy and delicious. Customer service is great here. The employees are friendly, accomodating and I have yet to have a negative experience. Also, I love responsive they are with phone calls. Before heading back to San Jose our party made a quick stop to Starbucks for a small snack and some much needed caffeine. Being that this location was a little over a mile away, we headed right over. Parking was teeny tiny but due to the option of Sbux having a drive-thru, most traffic ended up there. We were able to walk right up to the registers without any wait and placed our order for 2 Pumpkin Cream Cold Brews & a twice heated chocolate croissant. Since the line for drive-thru was bananas, I knew it would take time for us to get our drinks so I headed to the restroom. Unfortunately one bathroom out of the two was no working so everyone was forced to share the men's. No harm right?? WRONG!! The restroom was absolutely disgusting. Urine was all over the seat and the puddle I stepped in was most likely urine as well. The tp was completely out and the hand soap was running super low. I legit couldn't get out of there fast enough!! 1 star because I'm not able to give zero. My drink was rushed. The cream head on my drink was not the typical foamy goodness. ***holiday drinks*** Came here with my gf because we had $20 gift card so figured its perfect time to use it and get the cute holiday hot cups the drinks comes in. So many bad reviews for the drive thru. Yeah expect to wait forever for that. We came in and got a table.. ordered our drinks. Baristas are all nice. I forgot to ask for oatmilk and luckily she didnt make mines yet so she let me change it. Easy peasy. Parking sucks bananas though. I just parked in the supermarket parking lot. Horrible location for drive thru so I'd highly recommend walking inside. We got the toasted mocha white hot chocolate. Something like that. I asked for less syrup. Honestly I prefer mines cold so I'm taking it home and throwing it in the fridge. We split the Sugar Plum Cheese Danish. It has jelly and I'm not into jelly. The Vietnamese guests are friendly and fun. The place is usually clean for the most part. The staff is friendly and hard working. But there are no true baristas here. The music is loud like a concert hall. I don't know why. Maybe they all want heating aids one day. The voices of patrons are enough background noise and more interesting than the dumb music piped in. I love Starbucks and been for so many years. I know when my coffee is made just right or slightly on the toasty end. However, I've encountered again an order that has almost to none existence of coffee in my hot venti caramel macchiato upside down! At first sip, I thought maybe it's too hot and all I got was the foam. But even as I got half way, I still yet to taste any coffee. I even took the lid off and saw no trace of caramel drizzle either. Unfortunately today I paid for a venti size cup of warm milk. And I still have all my senses of smell and taste fyi. I always go through the drive-thru; the line moves pretty fast. The baristas are full of energy, even though it's 7am in the morning. I bought the egg whites with spinach and roasted red peppers. You have to have it with sriracha, most Starbucks locations have them upon request. It's the perfect touch, especially if you love a spicy kick to your food. I go so often they know my name and drink my heart. I can go at any time if the day and know I won't be disappointment. The drinks are solid here and the crew seem pretty friendly and efficient. One major plus is the amount of tables and chairs available for use. The downside is there isn't a lot of available outlets other than the center island. Fast wifi. Plenty of parking here and the adjacent shopping plaza next door. There is a homeless situation here - the ones that keep to themselves are great - but then there are the ones that try to go out of there way to disturb you. The last time I was there, there was a lady who tried to convince me to let her use my cellphone. I refused, she looked annoyed and started asking the other people. One patron gave in, and the lady started having a conversation with the phone, only to walk right out the store with it. I'm not heartless or anything, but I draw a line when I know something is up. You want me to call or connect you to a social worker? Great, I can help with that. But no, I'm not going to hand you a multi-hundred dollar phone and allow you to have free reign on it. I used to go in here all the time. Now, I just go when I have to go because it's the closest Starbucks to me. I typically order on Uber eats throughout the week, but even that has become a struggle, because there is no consistency when it comes to keeping the menu up-to-date. I don't do sugar, so I typically order stevia and that's not even an option on the Uber Eats menu anymore. When I called in to ask about it, they told me they didn't know how to change it. Since they don't keep the menu updated on Uber eats, there has been numerous times that I order my food, and receive a postcard stating they are out of the product that they were originally advertising they had on Uber Eats. I don't even think they realized that every time that happens I get penalized for requesting a refund through the app. I've spoke to the manager and they offer a giftcard, but it's just a "hush gift," because they didn't make any improvements. If you try to go into the store, there is homeless people sitting at the entrance. If you try to go through the drive-thru, there is homeless people waiting by the speaker box to ask for money. I went in to see the cup inventory, and there was a used cup sitting on the shelf available for saleThe whole situation, is disheartening. This store is in a prime location, and under the right management, I believe the store could be just as good as the other stores I have visited around the world.
