Horrible experience today. I got 3 regular iced coffees and all 3 people that drank it said it tasted STRONG. soon after we finished the coffee all 3 people got HORRIBLE anxiety and racing heart which is synonymous with caffeine overdose. Not sure how this may have happened but maybe they ran out of cold Brew and substituted with a shot? Or cappuccino? Something was and IS STILL NOT RIGHT I feel anxiety 4 hours later and so do the others. I have been to Starbucks 1000s of times and always get the same item. Ice coffee no sweetener and caramel drizzle with cream. This is highly dangerous to be consuming.. I know for a fact it was stronger than normal and it is absolutely uncalled for. read more

Disappointed I have to even give them a star. I am a barista myself and the way these people operate at this store is beyond my comprehension. My drink was made wrong and I asked the lady politely if she could just "add more milk" a milk that I paid 1.25 extra for making my drink 9$. When I asked her she had another girl come to the window to inform me she'd have to charge me extra. I informed her I worked as a barista as well and I know the policy and how the drinks are made and that I had already paid the extra 1.25. Instead of argue with her I agreed to pay an additional $1.25x2 =2.50$ I asked her to scan my discount and she proceeds to say it's $2.50 with the 50% off. So I looked at her in disbelief because not only did she make my drink wrong now she is lying to my face. I asked her how it could be 2.50 with my discount if 1.25+1.25 is $2.50 regularly. And she just acted like she was annoyed like dude how about me I waited in this long line for a drink you couldn't even execute and then u proceed to ask me for more money since u didn't make it right then u look me in the face and lie to me and say my discount applied like I'm not a barista who KNOWS the prices. Disappointed and never gonna come back. The one by Autozone on Route 66 is 1000% better. Never mess up a drink, never rude, always helpful. I gave this a 1 star for the following - my mom lost a family member about an hour ago and I wanted to get her a chamomile tea to calm her down - it was 11:15pm. You advertise to be open till 12am, but not the case. I understand being closed, but what shocked me was that I was in the drive thru trying to grab the only attendant there. He saw me multiple times and ignored me. Is this the customer service you now employee? LOVE my neighborhood Starbucks!!! I use the drive-thru almost daily and they've started recognizing me by my order. Always the friendliest baristas who engage me in conversation and are genuinely happy and helpful. Since they are open regular hours on holidays, I make sure to tip on those days to show my appreciation. Yes, drive-thru lines can get long, but in the am drive time hours, I feel they try to be quicker. I would've given 5 stars, but the times I do go inside, it does seem like slower service and I had an incident with a barista not using all the money on my gold card and then telling me it's empty (thank God I know my balance at all times so I caught it right away and brought it up to management). read more

Very good service. Friendly and fast. They get your orders correct. They are somewhat young and joke around together as a staff but they get the job done so it's okay--a bit awkward but oh well. No big. There is rarely ever an open table inside so be ready to sit outside. Lots of people studying and a sufficient amount of outlets for computers. I'd say 2-4, I forgot to count specifically. I absolutely hate this Starbucks! And I am a regular costumer/ fan of Starbucks. This shop in particular is way under staff for the amount of obese housewives ordering frappes. They literally need to have two lines ones for housewives of glendora and one for people just trying to get a cup of coffee. And not to even mention the drive tru- the line is always to the Stater bros! They seriously need to have a sign saying that more than 2 drinks must be orders inside, this could perhaps help the obesity epidemic!! read more

I got a toddler and an infant to deal with most of the time so when I see a drive thru extend to the middle of a busy parking lot, I actually found it faster to take both kids out, walk through the lot, all the way to the front of the building to order inside. It may or may not take just as long but it felt faster and my infant may or may not cry in the car. Bad organization considering most Starbucks around here is at a corner with plenty of places to park and/or easy access. This is a miss in terms of planning. I also decided to try a holiday drink but they were already out at 9 am. You should have that fully stocked since it is the holidays. It was only 3-4 hours since opening! All Starbucks are pretty much the same in terms of what they offer. The staff here is always really pleasant. Even when they're swamped with customers, you always get a smile and the appropriate amount of attention. I've yet to have a drink made incorrectly. This particular location is really good for working and/or studying. They have a lot of tables and nice patio seating. No couches or lounge chairs that I've ever noticed. The Grand Ave. location in Glendora is much better suited to cozy conversations with friends. read more

Give this place a 3 star because not my favorite Starbucks but it's a drive-thru and convenient (closest one to my in-laws/on the way to the freeway). My husband and I usually go drive-thru. Pleasant staff. Nice and efficient when taking our orders. I've been inside a couple times and looks pretty clean. Last night, I was being a little fatty and wanted a latte. So I got my usual: decaf tall soy latte with classic syrup. No foam. Tasted burned! Now, this isn't the only Starbucks that has burned my soy latte. In their hurry to whip up my drink, they overheat (burn) the soy. I used to work at Starbucks and I remember that soy milk was heated to 140 degrees (something like that...I forget) but it's less than the 180 degrees of milk. So soy lattes are not that hot. So I know when they burn the soy because (a) it tastes burnt and (b) it's very hot! Because my latte was burnt, I didn't taste the classic syrup. Soy and classic syrup give this latte a nice, sweet taste. Not this one! :( So this Starbucks deserves a 3 because they tend to overheat the soy. My suggestion: take your time when heating up soy milk. read more

Love this place. I come here every day because I like the drive through and not having to go outside with my puppy in the car. All the employees here are so nice and I see them all the time since I come here so much. They always say hi to my puppy too. Also, if there is ever a mistake made, they give you a coupon for a free drink of any size when you come the next time. They also make my signature drink ( venti, white chocolate mocha, very light ice, one extra pump of white mocha and whipped cream) better than any other starbucks I go to around Glendora/azusa for some reason. Bottom line: this particular starbucks provides exceptional customer service and take their time making the drinks RIGHT. Drive through is busy most of the time but goes very fast. I waited in the drive thru line for 25 minutes today. I was on the way to a birthday party, hence trying the drive thru for expedience, and was really late. The barista never apologized for the wait time, and wasn't very friendly. She also didn't give me my treat receipt, which was half the reason I went (so I could have my $2 pick-me-up post party) and there was no way I was going back to get it. I was very disappointed at how quickly this place went to crap. I was a loyal customer to the SB on Damien and Foothill until they kept messing up my darn coffee and oatmeal order. So I started going to this location. Coffee was always great and consistent until about 4 months later. I went through the drive thru and got my coffee however I needed my receipt for the entry for Starbucks for life. The guy at the window did not give me my receipt so I stood there for a few seconds to get his attention however he totally ignored me and walked away. The week after I went three times. One time, my coffee smelled like the whipped cream was sour. My daughter later that afternoon wasn't feeling well (probably due to the spoiled whip cream). I called that morning informing them that my coffee did not smell right, they stated they make their whip cream daily and it would be impossible for it to be spoiled. Ummm, hellloooo - they could have used spoiled cream. The next day I went back told the girl at the window what happened and she said she would talk to her manager. When I got back to work my coffee had no flavoring in it. Come on now, how do you forget the flavoring in a White Chocolate Mocha. The following day, same thing, forgot the flavoring and whip cream. At this point I was doing with both locations and am now a fan of the coffee at Wahles in La Verne. Bye Bye Starbucks!!! read more

Hate this place. They are incredibly slow and you can get stuck in here forever. Also, this sounds harsh...but fat people have ruined starbucks. It takes me 20 mins to get a regular iced coffee because 17 people, all 250+, order frappechinos. One piece of advice is if you are already a obese and prediabetic do not order something with 60 g of sugar in it. Anyway Starbucks does not prioritize what drinks to make and the result is you get stuck in there perpetually. read more

I usually get my late night coffee from here around 1030-11pm. The staff are friendly and since i go late at night there is hardly ever a line in the drive thru. The only complaint i have is that every time this female staff (didnt get her name) takes my order she mistakes it for a venti when i know i ask for a grande every time. No big deal, its just getting a little annoying. the price difference isnt that much for what i order, but i dont need a venti size. no other staff or starbucks has ever gotten my size on the order wrong. lol The last time it happened was last night (7/4/14) at 10:55pm. Only 4 small tables + 1 disabled tables inside, even though there's probably room for a couple more. Some outdoor seating. Pretty friendly group, definitely working as a team. I love this starbucks. It's one of my favorite study/reading spots. It's pretty spacious with lots of seating and tables inside and outside (shaded area :] ), you can find outlets galore along the walls, and it's easy to find parking (in a shopping center). The staff is super nice and always cheery (in my experiences). Another plus is the drive-thru! Perfect for a quick pick-me-up. ;) One more thing: they were open on Christmas and Christmas day (regular business hours). read more

I used to visit this starbucks frequently, easy parking and friendly staff. Lately though it has become a homeless shelter. Every morning the walkway leading into the store is littered with bicycles and carts of junk, and inside the store there are homeless taking up all the seating. Went there for breakfast and had to leave because there was nowhere to sit. Homeless were occupying more than half the seating inside and had their backpacks and bags of god knows what all over the floor. I hope the place doesn't get a bedbug infestation from this. Too bad, this used to be a nice Starbucks. Hopefully corporate catches wind of the situation and does something about it. read more

Just stopped in to get drinks for the road. Much to our surprise, there were 7-8 homeless people inside at the big table. All of their "belongings" were nestled among the other tables outside. First let me start by saying this is a Starbucks; not a peets coffee or any other super slow-traffic coffee shop with no line and baristas just waiting to whip you up a frap. It's always busy and yes, the drive thru line has taken a significant amount of time before. But it's quality items and they never run out of soy plus (a major plus) and they always get my drink right (I said grande soy latte, not soy chai latte... somehow this is a confusion for other places). On a review note, the baristas are great and really try to hurry to get your drinks made to perfection. I've never seen them take a break or have only one check out line and one barista; it's always doubled up with usually another person taking over the pastry/food fridge area ready to pop you breakfast sandwich in the oven. Parking: typically crowded and the spaces in the front are TINY. I recommend parking a little farther back, closer to the drive thru entrance, and walking a bit so your car doesn't get dinged. read more

Im really not a strabucks person at all but I have to make an effort to lift up this location in particular. For one this location has a patio area that opens to an exceptionally scenic foothills back drop. There was also one occasion when my father left his ipad in the bathroom and someone was kind enough to return it to lost and found and we retrieved the same day. We called in a few minutes before closing and the staff stayed an extra few minutes so we could pick it up. Very friendly staff. read more

I'm here almost everyday, sometimes multiple times a day. The usual staff is AMAZING, easy to talk with, makes good suggestions and ALWAYS get my apparently "difficult" drink right. I say it's difficult because when I go to a different location it's usually 3/4th's of the time wrong. Now.... Their seasonal staff. Not going to lie, there's a few rude ones that shouldn't be working with customers, if my drink is wrong don't try to tell me otherwise and give me a nasty look. I know what my drink is suppose to look like AND taste like. I'm ordering a drink that's mainly espresso and ice with a little dot of milk. It's a dark colored drink. Not suppose to look like a super light latte. I've also noticed when there's more seasonal staff on hand the coffee tends to taste burnt.
