Okay so let me start by saying I work for Starbucks in the Bay Area and was traveling and stopped here. Not only did they make my drink amazingly lol! They were super quick and gave us a recovery card for the time we waited for our food because we ordered a lot of food. The barista at the window was amazing and super sweet! I tried to be considerate but this was the last straw for me. I've had much much better at other Starbucks locations. I walked in, ordered a smoothie, which wasn't made right. It tasted yucky and instead of ice cold the texture was more like luke warm and soupy. Yikes! Didn't have time to stand in line again so I went through the drive thru and luckily the girl understood and remade the drink herself and it came out the way it was suppose to. I'll say that the whole feel of this Starbucks is very serious and unfriendly. I don't know if it's a holiday thing or if this Starbucks is usually like this, but if so I don't think I'll be stopping by again. Just left here on a Friday morning. Had a delightful experience! The staff was friendly and efficient-they made my soy cappuccino without a problem. This place is pretty busy but one of our regular stops when headed to and from Los Angeles. It was crazy busy as we needed to use restroom and of course get some coffee and breakfast for our road trip to LA. There was only was gal running the register and toasting the pastries and sandwiches as needed. The parking lot of this Starbucks is somewhat hard to drive through because the people going through the actual drive through drive really quick and it can be dangerous. Luckily, the parking lot is pretty large and you can park further away from the building itself. I came here inbetween driving from SoCal to NorCal and ordered a hot chocolate (perfect for winter time!) and the staff was so quick. So let me start off by saying the only place I ever stop for coffee is Starbucks. Yes, not Coffeebean, not Peet's, not Mc Donald's...you get it. And I've been to a fair number of Starbucks all over California, so this is not an unfair comparison. Sure, it's a small town Starbucks but I've been to others along the I-5, for example at Tejon, and have not felt the need to post a review like this. Okay, so why 1 star? As we drove up to this place around 5 pm on a Sunday recently, I saw the long drive thru line so decided to go into the store. As you enter, you see a long line to order. Sure, that's fine. But that line took forever to move because the lady at the register kept talking who-knows-what nonsense (like taking forever to see if she got a name pronounced right or walking away talking to herself). My family came in to join me, wondering what was taking so long. Suddenly, that lady announces to her co-worker that she has to go pee. Co-worker looks at our line and leans in to whisper (which we could all hear), "How bad, one a scale of one to ten?" She says she has GOT to go and walks away, another girl walks up to the at register and I breath a sigh of relief. Orders in, I thank the girl and move to the table with creamers on it. No napkins at all and the trash was full to the brim. Wow! "Toilet's out of toilet paper!!!!!" Shouts someone and I look over to see it's that annoying employee from before. It was so, so weird. She marched up to some storage area. I had some napkins of my oan so took my daughter to the bathroom. It was filthy, horrible. Everything was out. And cherry on top, it wouldn't flush. I go back outside to find annoying employee from before just standing there, leaning against the wall, with five toilet paper rolls in hand. She proceeded to stay there for who knows what reason, looking like the picture of chill, while the line's getting longer, the trash still hasn't been taken out, napkins not refilled, and toilet is out of order. I walked up to a barista and told her the bathroom was out of order, feeling sorry for them for being so out of order. Whoever is managing that store, needs to get their act straight. Some of the baristas there were clearly working super hard but without leadership, they were struggling. Maybe it was a tough day but other reviews here seem to mention similar incidents. And for that reason, this will be the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. :( read more
