This Starbucks continues to close earlier than their posted hours on the Starbucks app. Writing this at 9:33pm and store shows open until 10:00pm. Wasted well over half an hour driving there and then back home. Additionally, this isn't an isolated incident as this happened last week when we drove there. I should have read the reviews before coming here. Let me also put a disclaimer that this is just for the drive thru. I've used the drive thru a few times and been disappointment almost everytime. The first time I ordered an Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte with Almond Milk, they thought I wanted a Matcha Lemonade with Almond Milk. Um, ew??? I had to repeat myself and they just kinda of said real quick "okay, see you around the corner" with out confirming it. So, I pulled up and they asked again if I wanted the Matcha Lemonade. I told them again that I wanted an Iced Latte and they made it real quick for me. When it was handed over, I noticed the powder was not mixed completely. To be fair, they had thought I wanted a different drink and made my Latte in a rush so I was like "eh, I can let that slide, we all make mistakes and my voice is on the quiet side". This past week I had to get gas at 76 and thought I'd give the drive thru another chance. This time they heard my order... But the powder was mixed WAY WORSE, if you even want to call it mixed. There was powder ALL OVER the lid! You could see a finger print from a barista in the Matcha powder. EW!!! When the drive thru worker gave me the drink, even she made a face at the lid like "ew". Honestly, just make the time and go to a local coffee place that actually cares about what they put out. After I moved to San Pablo, it became my weekend spot. Now that I've moved a little further out, I probably end up here about once or twice a month, at the most. I've never encountered any problem at this location and it is very close to my brother's house, but by the time I make it out this way, it's usually pretty late so I've already had my coffee from my local Starbucks. Like all the other reviews on here, by far the worst starbucks i've came to. I have came here many times & its always the same. Last week, i've ordered my regular drink. Came to the window & they handed me the wrong drink. I did pay for it before they handed it to me but she never told me the price of that drink that day. After i told them its the wrong drink they claimed they gave me a refund but never did. Whatever. They never have any breakfast in stock or its always cold when they hand it to me at the window. This location constantly disappoints. Came today thinking maybe it had improved since I stopped coming a year ago. Same issues. Ordered in the drive thru when I got to the window they missed one of my four items. I mentioned it nicely, they acted confused and the girl who took my order rudely acted like I was adding it to my order last minute. What happened to Starbucks giving the best customer service and "the customer is always right". Once making the drink they missed originally, they told me have a good day and tried to let me leave without handing me the food item I ordered. To top it all off the caramel frap came without the caramel drizzle inside the cup. I think we can all agree that is the best part! Here the thing. I get that orders get mixed up. People make mistakes. But instead of being defensive and trying to throw your not a big deal mistake onto the customer and coming back with attitude. This afternoon I went to the Starbucks by kinder's in Hercules, CA. I have researched and know that if you have a gift card with a balance under $9.99 you can get cash for the card. There is no receipt required( as most won't have since it is in fact a gift most times) the barista with red hair working on 02/15/23 at 3:20pmish was dismissive, rude, and had an accusatory tone as if I had made it up. This law is currently only valid in California and Oregon, but please, if you're not a coffee drinker and you have a balance below the $9.99, you can get cash in these two states.Do not let rude baristas deter you.
