Great location! The building says 5/3 Bank, so took me a minute to figure out where it is. Closed on Saturday & Sunday!

Tinker Coffee NEVER misses. They have so many fun drink options. I tried Tinker the first time at…read morethe airport and was extremely excited to see it at the AMP in Indianapolis! I enjoyed a blueberry vanilla iced latte and it was the perfect drink to start my work day. Service was awesome with the perfect recommendations based off my preferences and the space is perfect to work out of for a couple hours.

They are reserved for take-out pickup. I was circling for a while, trying to find parking, when I saw these spots. It makes actually visiting The AMP a bit easier! Anyway, I visited Tinker Coffee to get a hot tea. They have green jasmine tea, which is one of my favorite green teas because it tastes naturally sweet. No sweetener needed! Tinker also have Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Chamomile and Lavender Mint tea. I guess they also have coffee! I didn't get any this time, but I always like Tinker Coffee every time I get it. They did a collab with Jason and Chris of the How Long Gone podcast a few years ago, which has endeared me to them even more. Worlds colliding, and all that. I didn't see too much in the way of things to eat here. This Tinker Coffee location is strictly beverages. But that's OK, because if you want something to eat, you can take your pick from one of the several restaurants and shops located within steps of Tinker inside The AMP.

If you work downtown at the IU School of Medicine or at Riley Children's Hospital or if you are…read morevisiting someone in the hospital, this will be your go to coffee place. There are typically long lines in the morning hours, but the line moves quickly most of the time. Aside from coffee, they have delicious cookies and other baked goods in the case and a selection of grab and go sandwiches, salads, fruit, yogurt, etc... The coffee is not amazing, but not bad. I would not recommend getting a drip decaf coffee in the afternoon because it will likely be cold. Instead, go for a decaf americano! The customer service is good. Anytime I have had an issue with my drink, the staff has offered to remake it. Fun things to consider! They have a coffee stamp card and after 10 drinks, you earn $2 off. If you bring your own cup or one of their cups to refill you will get $1 off your drink. I have been known for keeping a cup for a week to refill! The best deal is the 3 after 3! After 3 PM you can get a coffee refill and your choice of cookie for $3. It is a nice treat in the late afternoon.,

I really really really miss the Hubbard & Cravens that was formerly at this location (RIP Healthy…read moreElephant shake). However, since this Copper Moon is sometimes the nearest espresso location during a busy day at work, it is "the" option. Still on a caffeine hiatus, I tend to get a plain decaf latte, for the espresso taste. The service is typically friendly, but the drink make line can get backed up (especially when there are newbies manning the machine...and there seems to be turnover frequently). The pastry and grab n' go options are overpriced in my opinion; so were Hubbard & Cravens' options, but at least the quality was better. I can't speak to the regular coffee or flavored drinks, just to my okay plain decaf lattes...which are difficult to screw up.
