Service is always friendly and efficient here. My favorite Starbucks location. 'nuff said.

Morning rush around 8 can be painfully slow. Staff is nice though. Also needs some redoing of its setup.

Friendly group. Small location. Had to sit outside in the heat due to the crowd. Iced coffee was very good.

I came here on a Thursday afternoon and the baristas there were very friendly - especially compared to the ones at a few other Irvine locations. There is a good amount of indoor seating to do some work or reading and a lot of outdoor seating as well. It does get busy at around 5-6PM, when people are getting off work, so keep that in mind if you're in a rush. read more

No matter what time of day, there's a long line. Avoid this location if you're on your way to work because you'll be waiting awhile for a cup of coffee. They always seem understaffed for the a.m. rush. read more

I've been a loyal customer to this Starbucks for a long time. While they have had their shortcomings, no one is perfect, and I continued to provide them with my business. Today however, was the last straw. There have been times where I placed a mobile order and it took a little longer than expected. In those cases, though, they profusely apologized and at times gave me a card for a free beverage due to the inconvenience. One thing I have noticed, especially lately, is that I'm always seeing new people working there with the exception of a few regulars I've come to know. They seem to have new people on the register or helping with drinks during the morning rush on a weekday which just doesn't seem efficient. Anyway, I placed my mobile order as I usually do, and when I walk in they aren't terribly busy. The barista wouldn't even acknowledge me when I said hello (and she's one of the regulars!), and finally said after a good while that my drink would be done "in a while." I should have known and left then. A few moments later, my pastry is done. Now that it's been roughly 15 minutes since I placed my order, the barista looks at me and says "I'm sorry, there's still 4 drinks ahead of you." all the while people are walking in and grabbing their mobile orders. Something just didn't feel right. And then I noticed it. Everyone who was picking up drinks ahead of me had expensive drinks, whereas I had my inexpensive but tasty grande Misto. I truly think they were bumping my order back to fill more expensive drinks! Even if they weren't, to now have waited almost 20 minutes just to be told there were FOUR more drinks ahead of me? I said that was unacceptable and I wanted a refund, which they gave me, for my drink only though. No full refund, no free drink for next time, just a simple and unsympathetic "I'm sorry." I will solemnly swear never to return to this Starbucks, I'd rather leave home 20 minutes earlier to go somewhere else at this point. read more

Worst customer service ever!!! I came in and ordered right away and I waited for 15 minutes to get my drinks. There were 6 employees behind the counter and nobody wanted to make the coffee!! I've never ever seen this at any Starbucks before! Seriously they were just standing around chatting and each person was hoping the other would make the drinks!! I was this close to ask to speak to a manager!! Worst Starbucks experience ever!! If you don't want to make coffee for customers, maybe you shouldn't be working at a coffee shop!! Asked for no whip cream, got whip cream. Also gave us a really old Lemon loaf. Friendly staff though.

It took 25 min for my drink. I ordered my Hot caramel macchiato via mobile phone at 7:07 , stopped by the store at 07:18. Waiting, waiting, waiting for my order. Until I asked the lady my order at 7:30. There's a guy named Jake showed up and handed my order...my god. They messed up my order... he gave me ICED one... I told him I order Hot one. He asked me : ARE YoU SURE ( this pissed me off) ... the heck... I was so mad but I was trying to calm down. I said YES and showed him my order on the phone. He told me I'll make a new one. He didn't even say sorry or anything... Been a costumer at this store for a year since I recently moved and work at the hospital near the store ( and this is the closet one) Guess what I'll never come back. Go in to buy a bottle of water and get a venti iced water. Waiting in line isn't a problem, but instead of just filling the water which would've taken 20 seconds like they do with the black coffee, had to wait 10 minutes for it at the bar. Just complete bullshit. It's water. read more

Great new layout. Most staff are friendly and welcoming. Specially they recognize you and say hi. Sometimes on weekend morning it gets so busy I am ready to give up on waiting. Overall great coffee shop! read more

I used to work at a starbucks in my teenage years, I know a good Starbucks when i see it, and this one is top notch. Customer Service is amazing, they know my drink the second I walk in the door. The drink is made exactly to my specifications without me saying a word. The place is clean, and the team looks like they get a long pretty well. The reason for the four stars is the weekend team is not my favorite. I almost prefer to go there m-f in the morning because I know who is going to be working. Weekends, I feel like a stranger in my own home, but otherwize, AWESOME. read more

This is my favorite Starbucks to go to. The line can be long, but the employees are always friendly. One of my first trips here they drew an orc on my coffee cup (I was wearing a blizzard shirt). Since then I've met Josh who always talked to us and asked us about our day or weekend. He even sometimes notices us in line and makes our order ahead of time. I started to order for here quite a bit, I stopped because almost three times in a row my coffee was either wrong or tasted off. I appreciate that they are willing to make you another one but sometimes you don't have the time to wait 5-10minutes for another one. That's why I use the app to order ahead. Maybe they have alot of new hires that haven't quite gotten a hang of everything. But after multiple times, I won't be returning often. If things change I'll update. read more

I don't appreciate the employees putting my cup off to the side after I purchased my drink. I waited about 30 minutes to get my drink while the are helping out other customers. Most customers max wait time was 5 minutes. I waited 30. I'm really not happy with the excuse that they had too many orders. I'm a paying customer just like everybody else. I deserve to be treated equally like everybody else. It seems as if every time I go in there, the staff always has a problem with me being there. So they'll start talking amongst themselves and trying not to let me here them but I know they talk behind my back. They did it before. The only time when I don't have a problem is when I go in there at nights. The night staff is very respectful and I appreciate them. Great outdoor seating but noisy indoor seating lol, friendly and fast service..

The Starbucks is perfectly located for those of us who live at the park or the village which is next to the Irvine spectrum and/or if you live in the beautiful Shady Canyon resort style neighborhood right behind this which is right behind the hill. There's indoor seating at outdoor seating is generally sunny here like most of the other Starbucks is in the area however this one is another one of my favorites because it is quiet it is easy to get to theirs back roads you can go on and even better it's right next to the nectar place I like to go get juice or bowls. read more
