Drive thru service is by far the slowest I've ever experienced. Been coming here for over two years and it's getting worse by the week. Disclaimer: I'm a local, and a few old acquaintances work at this store, so I'm admittedly a bit biased... But then again, I'm a frequent traveler and a regular Starbucks customer, and so do frequent many locations throughout NorCal and am no stranger to the chain. In my experience, this Starbucks location has a generally superior quality of service compared to most of the standard strip-mall Starbucks locations in California. It is usually a fairly long wait as other reviewers have mentioned, but it is not an appreciably longer wait than any other strip mall store with a drive-through. It may be the busiest business in this building, but this Starbucks is by no means a freestanding cafe and should not be judged by that standard. I very rarely receive an incorrect beverage here, but when I do my experience only earns the store's staff kudos in the end. Let's all be honest.. Starbucks' accuracy when it comes to order fulfillment is at times spotty, regardless of the particular location where the mistake was made. It's their readiness to correct the error in an equitable way that matters. Some of ya'll reviewers need to grow up when it comes to order accuracy; Mistakes are to be expected and when you spend $5 on a beverage you damn well *should* turn around and hand it back if it's not correct... It's Christmas Day and we traveled two hours to our families house, we see a Starbucks and I ask to stop for a coffee. We pull into drive thru at 1455, the person in front of us takes a long time to order. We drive up to put our order in and wait a few minutes and the women comes on the speaker and says we are closed. We were shocked, she said we close at three have a nice day. So we had to wait for the people I front of us to get served and then when we pull out they had the drive thur blocked off. Good customer service would have been to serve everyone in line before the drive thru had been closed. It's like asking people to leave your store when they came before the doors were locked. I have to say as a manager in the retail food industry I am impressed by this staff. They handle busy times to the best of their ability and alway provide the best customer service. Obviously the people on here complaining how slow they are have never work in retail food. I come here multiple times a week as I commute to work and everyone is amazing. Not a coffee fan, but I do like their hot chocolate. Typical starbucks. Were very flexible when we ordered coffee canisters for our wedding weekend. Let us return plastic canisters a couple days later. Small town feel, with the consistency of a typical Starbucks. read more

The staff is generally friendly but they always seem to be a bit overwhelmed. Consequently, service can be somewhat slower than you might have come to expect from other Starbucks locations. In fact, from time to time, it can be a lot slower. Therefore, it would be wise to stay away from the drive through if you're in a hurry or if you dislike slow queues. Otherwise, the quality of the coffee is fine and, as I mentioned before, the staff is usually quite friendly. The store is also clean and nicely decorated. read more

I love Starbucks and it is definitely a 5 star coffee shop. I love coming here before school to get going with my day. The drinks here are amazing and I never have any problems with there drinks or their food. This is a great place to work on any type of work wether it's school or work, work! Had an especially friendly and efficient cashier today named Cassie! Sometimes when I go through Starbucks drive thrus people will cut me off a lot like they're in a huge hurry (which f course they are, can't blame them) BUT that almost never happens at this location. This is the worst customer service experience I've ever had. The employee named Elizabeth was very rude to me and my wife and treated us like dirt. This is by far the slowest damn Starbucks I've ever been to! I went inside to use the restroom and it was a mess. Trash can over flowing, papers on the floor, no TP in the holder, no protective covers in the holder. Found what I needed tho in there-thankful they had a spare roll of TP in there! I decided since the line looked so long inside, I'd join the the rest of my family in the car and go through the drive through..Oooh what a mistake! We were there for at least 30 mins. When we got there, we were promptly given 2 of our drinks and the red-haired barista walked off. While we sat there another 5 mins, the drive thru window was stuck in the "open" position-couldn't help but notice all the baristas working, not working and talking about their lunch-finally, we spoke up and advised we were still waiting on the rest of the order. A guy came to the window and said "hey, we're still making it, it's been very busy today and were understaffed." The original red-headed barista must have seen my annoyed look on my face and decided to chumply chime in "have a Merry Christmas." He could have simply saved all the annoyance with a simple acknowledgement and a "were still working on the rest of your order." The kid in the back of the car even said "what's his problem..Christmas is Over!?" (Clearly, condensing is not understood yet). All I could do was chuckle it off-Starbucks, you need to evaluate what goes on at this location is all I'll further comment. read more

After waiting in the drive through, I found out they were out of the Frappuccino mix for the special drink to give me bonus stars....when I asked if there was an option, the staff graciously said, NO....are you kidding? read more

OK, I hate leaving bad reviews BUT as a previous manager of a store that serves nothing but the best customer service this place just isn't cutting it. I have lived in Jackson for 7 years and just the last 2 have been AWFUL. Who is managing this crew?? NOBODY should have to wait 20 minutes in the drive thru being the 3rd car in line. Drive thru is for people on the go and usually in a hurry. If you need to order 16 Fraps (all different) do the kind thing and park your car and order inside or call it in!! For the drive thru employees.... when they get to the window and pay MAKE them PARK!! You can walk it out!!! This was my final straw. I have given this location too many chances as it is. DUTCH BROTHERS PLEASE COME!!!! Also.... when you complain as a customer, which I did, you should give out the "Sorry" coupons like you used to. Flies, flies, flies. They have a major fly problem. I have been in this store 5 times over the last 2 weeks, during morning and afternoon times. There are flies everywhere. Not just one or two, but 10 or more including the one in the pastry case. Gross. read more

Just as another had previously said, they messed up my order and then acted like it was my fault, even though I was being friendly and nice, the attitude of the employee was disgusting...It was like you could physically see the attitude dripping off her face. The rest of the employees didn't seem much more friendly and they all had this stuck-up better-than-you air about them.
