Great location for meetings. Busy during peak hours. The uh... Kirkland female clientele is very high end and the service and quality are typical Starbucks - which isn't a bad thing. A great idea to have a 24 hour Starbucks! However, the service I received in the last 2 visits was not good. (This is rare though) I was disappointed to find that the whipped cream on my drink was sour. I didn't take it back because I had already gotten home and ended up throwing it away. Going back another time I had a venti iced tea (delicious) but it was given to me with the lid not on all the way and the whole thing spilled in my car. The drinks here are always good but you might want to double check your whipped cream and lids. :) read more

I generally really enjoy Starbucks. However they vary by location - and the one in downtown Kirkland may be one to avoid. I like that Starbucks Hires retired folks (i.e.- second or third career ) - however they need to do it for benefit of customers (and stockholders). The +65 gentleman that took my order behind the counter this morning - should either not be in retail or should work at a time that more suites his capability. Anyway glad to see Starbucks is hiring in this dimension (older folks) however they need to insure that the bad apples get screened out (or customers may hold their noses :) ). read more

I'm a regular of this Starbucks, drive thru to get a cup of green tea before work every day. Love their green tea ^^ I have to say during peak time, their drive thru line is insane but don't be scare off their long line because their services is incredibility quick. I usually get my green tea in 6 minutes^^ There was one time that I waited for over 12 mins, and they gave me a free drinks coupon for next time to use. read more

All the employees here seem knowledgeable about coffee, they all deliver stellar service constantly, and they do, in fact, know the difference between a latte and a cappuccino. Now, they still can't touch the local coffee places, but they come about as close as any chain store could. read more

The staff are the quickest around considering the amount of people that pass through here. I have heard that it is one of the busiest in the state. The only negative I have so far in coming here is the awful parking lot layout, which I don't know how they can change, and some of the customers that come in here. Okay I'll officially never be back. NASTY NASTY NASTY!!! I made a mobile pay & go order. While waiting in the car facing the dumpster area, our attention was first directed there when we noticed one employee taking his break practically in the dumpster, but literally no exaggeration he was sitting on a crate at the foot of the dumpster. ( big deal right ? Not my first choice of seating but that's all him) so shortly after about 3 other on duty employees trickle out the side door to empty the trash it looks like. BIG DEAL? Right, the only problem here, they were all wearing their aprons which is supposed to serve as the barrier between there uniform ( street clothes) & our food, drinks etc. they proceed to throw trash out obviously having to touch the wet, dirty dumpster & one girl in particular WIPED HER HANDS ON THE FRONT OF HER APRON REPEATEDLY !!! ( picture proof ) - this same woman decides while on the clock, to TAKE A COUPLE DRAGS OF THE CIGARETTE of the employee who sat by the dumpster to eat. As far as I know cigarettes aren't to be smoked within 20ft of a restaurant etc. I pray she washed her hands when she went back & not that it would do much since she's already contaminated her uniform. I can make a sure bet since they made little effort to be discreet in all that I saw I don't want to know what happens when no one is watching. Management needs to get on this ASAP & GET THE STORE IN ACCORDANCE WITH PUBLIC HEALTH SAFETY & ALL OTHER FDA LAWS. read more

The drive tru was long so I decided to go inside. It took so long for me to get my drink and burned almond croissant that when I went out there were no cars in the drive tru. Next time I will take the drive tru. Also, inside there were three employees cleaning and one taking care of the customers in the window and one doing the drinks. The staff at this location are very friendly but I have to stop coming here because of the parking lot/drive through situation. It is downright DANGEROUS! The drive through frequently has a line waiting which blocks cars that are parked to use the restaurant. This is true for all hours of the day. The other day a woman came out while I was waiting in line for the drive through. She got tired of waiting so essentially did a 18-point turn in her parking stall to get her minivan out! People kept honking at her but she didn't stop and came within inches of hitting me and my kids. I eventually pulled out of the line and left without my coffee. There's a drive through coffee shop right across the street that is way more organized with equally delicious food and competent staff. Won't be back here. Ever. read more

I was a long time patron of this location. But I received really poor service. I dropped my credit card in my side door and couldn't open it in drive thru. I gave them my gold Starbucks card, after ordering, and they asked me to pull forward and someone would run out to me. After waiting five minutes I had to move as cars behind me needed to pass. then, I parked and came in. Well no one came out to me because my preload card only had $3 bucks, and my order was greater, but rather than doing what they said, they cancelled my order and treated me like I was trying to rip them off. when I asked to speak to the manager after PAYING and waiting for food for my toddler, they gave me a business card and the teenage employee rolled her eyes. Time check, 25 min. after I asked to speak to the manager face to face, she was pleasant and apologized, but honestly I know how different they treat women who come in dressed nice for work, versus my off day in casual attire and small kid with me. They said. "oh man it looks like you are having a rough day, because I was holding my toddler and complained... The issue was not my kid, it was their condescending poor service. Parking Situation: Horrible, usually the drive-thu is so long that it blocks all of the parking, so if one would like to go inside the have to wait for the drive thru people to clear out. The people coming out , again, have to wait for the people in the drive thru to move through before they can back out. Service: Do not tip here. Horrible, Rude, Lazy service. I was in line with three extremely picky young women in front of me, not attractive. This customer seemed to the know the employees by name so I assumed she may have worked there. She kept asking this particular staff to make her drink because the other person ruined and discolored the drink she got. So instead of having her wait a few minutes after I paid for my $5 latte plus tip. They re-made hers (which took 8 or more minutes because it was super complex and the drink was not even on the menu, for heaven sakes this is rush hour to work people). They finally after making her drink over an over, did not apologize, she did not thank anyone. I walked straight over to the tip jar and took my tip back. I will never go there again. The morning staff is nothing less than wonderful. I stop by every morning on my way to work and I feel like I'm stepping into Cheers. Lol the only downside is the parking vs the drive thru at peak hrs. There will be a ton of lazy ass people who are more willing to wait in the drive thru line for a good 20 minutes just to avoid stepping foot out of their car to run in and take 5 minutes getting their order. This causes the line to overflow into the street, blocking all the vacant parking spots for those of us not to lazy to get out of the car.
