There was nothing I overall disliked about this location other than the staff was a little too forward and there was habitually a line. I know it's not the only location around there, however, for the strip mall, it is exceptionally busy unless you are there early in the morning. Our coffees came out well and in a timely fashion. The barista that greeted us was very awkward in her greeting (commenting on my dad's shirt) but not dropping the subject after the initial answer. Normally I'm all about small talk, but the delivery and awkwardness was a bit much. This location has plenty of parking (being in a strip mall), they take cards and have free wi-fi. Went to Starbucks around 11am, wanted to order the chicken and sausage biscuit sandwich but they were sold out. So I settled for the turkey bacon and egg white sandwhich and it was pretty good. Food was hot and the iced Carmel latte was made well. This particular Starbucks in the Lahaina Cannery Mall is exactly the same as every Starbucks in Seattle - except for the fact that the coffee's worse. Why? Starbucks anywhere is good. Starbucks in Lahaina Maui is also good. I've been coming to this Starbucks for a better part of 6 years and they're great. Love the fact that they open at 5:30am in the morning too on most weekdays - as most Starbucks in this country do. This Starbucks kiosk is pretty convenient and cozy. It's a small retail store than has a few tables and chairs for patrons to sit down and enjoy their coffee and other foodstuff they may buy for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even a snack. There's also tables and chairs outside as well as a table just outside the Starbucks inside the Lahaina Cannery Mall, where this Starbucks is connected to. The Starbucks is clean, as usual and the staff here is great and happy. They do their best to service everyone with a smile and do a great job - at least when I'm there. :) This particular Starbucks store is located at the Lahaina Cannery Mall at 1221 Hoanapilani Highway, which is quite convenient for those of y'all who are staying on the west side of Maui and don't want to be driving all the way to either Kihei or Wailuku / Kahului, or touristy Front Street for your freshly brewed morning Starbucks coffee or anything Starbucks sells. Since this Starbucks is apart of the Lahaina Cannery Mall, there is plenty of parking here for your morning coffee fix and late night coffee needs. They accept major credit cards, so that's always a plus. The Starbucks pricing strategy is consistent with most stores in Hawaii, but it can be a little less expensive on the mainland USA, since shipping everything to Hawaii often passes down the costs to the end customer. In addition to coffee, assorted drinks, and assorted pastries, they also sell Starbucks branded merchandise, including tumblers and mugs. For me, a blueberry scone and a trenta green tea lemonade works for me these days for a pretty good breakfast on a day or weekend trip to the west side of Maui. Used to drink coffee, but I swore it off, but still come to Starbucks anyway. I love the ambiance that Starbucks provides. The casual cafe atmosphere with cafe music really soothes the soul and helps me concentrate and relax when I need some down time during the busy work week or just Chillaxing on a weekend. I love the fact that they do have free wifi and a restroom here, just in case you need to go. You can study here or read a good book and the Starbucks staff won't bother you - just as long as you don't make a scene. Love that. Support local! A+ read more

Had to get my Starbucks fix while on vacation. The service here sucks! Workers didn't look happy and wasn't friendly like the ones I go to in California. Didn't ask for my name and when my drink was made the barista didn't say anything and just left it on the counter, he did that to every customer ahead of me. There were a group of girls waiting for their drinks and the barista just left it at the counter when it was made without saying a word, the cashier had to tell them it's ready after a couple of mins, shouldn't the barista say something? The service was friendly and pretty fast. The place is quite dirty. I sat at a table that was sticky my napkin stuck to it and the paper wouldn't come off.
