I had a very frustrating experience at this location. ( flamingo and rainbow, wanted to make sure this location) I ordered a venti iced espresso with banana foam. Normally, when you order a drink with foam at other Starbucks location, the foam is filled to the top. However, at this location, the foam was only about half the amount I usually get. I asked them employee about it, and he told me that heir location doesn't fill up the foam unless you pay extra. I explained that I order this drink regularly at other locations and have never experience this before. The employee was actually trying to be helpful and was willing to add more foam without charging me. However, the manager (Jaxon) stepped in and stopped him. He insisted that it doesn't matter how other locations do it - at this store, I would have to pay extra if I wanted more foam. It's not even extra foam. Just filled to the top. What made the situation worse was hi attitude. He came across as rude and dismissive, even though I was simply asking a reasonable question based on my experience at other Starbucks location. While this was happening, another customer nearby spoke up and said very agreed with me. They even motioned multiple times that he agreed with me, which made it clear that wasn't the only one feeling this way. I already reached out to Starbucks customer service, but I'm still not satisfied with the outcome. This wasn't just about getting refund-simply wanted the manager, Jaxon, to understand that his behavior was unprofessional and inappropriate. I ended up feeling very frustrated and disappointed. This kind of inconsistency and poor customer service is in acceptable especially from a brand like Starbucks. I entered at 7a on a Saturday. It was nice and quiet. A great place to have a chat with a friend or do work with your laptop. Lots of 2 person seating with some 4 person tables. I wasn't actually looking, but I saw one outlet. So if you're working be prepared to come with a full laptop battery. I love that there is an outside seating arrangement that is fully covered! So necessary for hot summer days when you wanna have a breath of fresh air while being protected from the brutal sun rays. The employees were kind and I saw them cleaning up the establishment with sprays and wiping it off with cloths as I enter. Even before the concern of Covid, I have always loved a clean and disinfected environment so thank you SB team for taking extra care with that. I had a nice chat with my companion and by 9a we noticed a change in the occupancy level. It got much busier inside the lobby, and by 10a it was a full house with people staying inside to enjoy the air conditioned space. I have been going to this location for YEARS the staff was great. They were quick and attentive, especially Ashley, the manager, this was up until the new location opened up on south rainbow near Russell. When the majority of the staff left to go to that location and Ashley became the manager over there. Then this location became absolutely terrible. My drinks every day take at least 20 to 30 minutes to make it is absolutely ridiculous. I usually order on the app but sometimes I order in person and it doesn't matter whether i'm in the drive thru or I go inside. The employees are always on sloth mode, meaning there's no sense of urgency. They're always talking to one another Which I usually don't mind as long as you're doing your work too but if it takes 20-30 minutes for me to get my order there's an issue. Today was my last straw. This is generally a pretty good Starbucks and is my go to location. It's fairly new and used to be located about a block away in another plaza. This new location is quite large inside and has a spacious parking lot. They also have designed the drive thru to wrap around the outside of the parking lot in an attempt to avoid the drive thru crowding nightmare you find at many other Starbucks locations. It works pretty well unless the line is incredibly long at which point a car or two might spill out into the parking lot entry area. COVID precautions are in place with masks required and no indoor seating. Mobile order is a great option, although last week they let me down as they weren't accepting mobile orders any of the mornings I tried. Staff have been pretty friendly and have come to recognize me and will proactively hand me my mobile order when I walk in. This is sometimes an issue with some locations as people crowd at the pickup area and staff don't proactively ask who is picking up a mobile order. My go to drink is their "skinny cinnamon dolce latte." For some reason this item no longer appears this way on the menu, but you can make it by selecting the standard cinnamon dolce latte and substituting the sugar free cinnamon dolce syrup for the regular syrup. This is one complaint about Starbucks. They have only two sugar free syrup options (vanilla and cinnamon dolce). They used to have more, but no longer. It's too bad since so many of their drinks are incredibly sweet, and having more options would be good. Their turkey bacon breakfast sandwich is also a tasty treat for breakfast or any time of the day. Overall this is a new and generally pretty nice and convenient location with friendly staff. read more

This Starbucks is amazing. The store itself is clean. They're big on social distancing and every time I've stepped foot inside I'm not worried about whether it'll be on the next installment of dirty dining. The drive through in particular is my favorite part. The service is prompt and the line itself moves at a decent pace. Important for me because sometimes the wife gets impatient when she's hangry (or thirsty-gry), so the wait time is never really an issue. The coffee itself is typical standard Starbuck-fare. So don't expect anything different than any of the other billion Starbucks on planet Earth. But to me consistency is key. So definitely a plus as far as I'm concerned. Service moves at a reasonable pace for being busy. And it is friendly. Seating is attique. But wish there were more separate tables. To many tables are pushed together. Not enough outlets for people that v want to work on their laptops. There is seating outside, but this location does have a homeless (begging) problem. Cloie is amazing! I usually get tea or refresher but feels like getting holiday coffee today. I asked for her recommendation and I love that not only she picked a flavor out of my list of interesting drinks, she further explained the notes, sweetness level and milk that is perfect with the drink! And based from her description, I was able to customized the drink based on my preferrence (we have the same taste, I requested oat milk and less sweet too!) Becca created my first drink. My bad I did not specify cold drink when I ordered. She offered to correct my drink and even gave me the hot drink as well! I took pictures of this [newer] Starbucks, located at the corners of Flamingo Rd. and Rainbow Blvd. It is not the cleanest of facilities I've ever been in, and it is certainly not the friendliest. I can overlook these things by believing they're anomalies. What I can't ignore is the drink I ordered versus what I received. When I arrived, I was the sole customer in this expansive store. I asked for a tall Frappuccino, no whip, and half the pumps as I always do with all sweetened drinks. I repeated my order twice to the girl at the register and she repeated it back to me in broken English. I waited (alone in the store), and the barista waved me over and asked me to restate my order. I reiterated, "tall Frapp, no whip, half the pumps," with a hand gesture of "half the pumps" once again. That's three times. A couple of minutes later I picked up my order, got in my car, and began to drive away when I took a sip. It tasted a bit sweet, but I kept driving. Again, I took another drink, and this time it tasted even sweeter; I hate sweet if you catch my drift. When I arrived down the street at my destination, I looked at the order generated on the cup, and voila, "no whip" was written, but "half the pumps" was not. Two people heard me state in clear, precise English, three times, and still, this Starbucks screwed up my order. I can't find any accuse for these two people or this particular Starbucks, so I have to issue the lowest rating I have ever given to any of the dozens of Starbucks, sorry.
