Ube coconut machiatto? Yes, please. Didn't get it iced. Enjoyed it hot, and there were pieces of shredded coconut. It was heavenly. Had this yesterday morning along with our breakfast bagel sandwich from Del Mar Deli. It was a a delicious breakfast. If you are not Filipino or Pinoy/Pinay, Ube is indigenous to the Philippines. I repeat, Ube is from the Philippines, it is documented in the earliest books written when the Spaniards had control of the country. It is a huge part of Filipino culture. Hubby was saying that for the price of the sandwiches and the Starbucks drinks, we could've had the buffet again. (But nope, can't do that again.) (Again, I must mention that we enjoyed our Staycation at this Property. We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary here. Blessed and lucky.) Great Starbucks location near registration and at the front. Friendly service and they keep you moving rather quickly. I was surprised that in a Casino it would be so busy. If you purchase a regular coffee the will give you a free refills with your receipt during a block of time which was cool. Make sure to ask them about it. read more

Very rude barista! This was about 630 am on a slow, Tuesday morning. I walked up and ordered 2 coffees and a peppermint bliss bar. The picture menu of it looked really, really good! Well, the young, white, female barista was very rude when I ordered the the peppermint bliss bar. Giving me a disgusted look and said why I would even order it because we don't have this. I showed her the menu with the picture on it, and snarklily, she responded that I should know better because it's not in the baked goods area. Really?! The only positive about this Starbucks is they are open 24hrs. I've been here a few times and every time my Frappuccino comes out too thick. I hate when it's not blended enough and I need to swirl it around with the straw before I can actually drink from the straw. It's conveniently located off the casino floor, but there's always a long line and service is slow and the staff always looks Unmotivated and tired. Bright lights and open space located right as you walk in the entrance of South Point Casino, is such a welcoming sight! We're here to simply get a chocolate cake pop for my niece and next thing you know we're grabbing a refresher, too. This is a convenient location. Lines can get long, but they work quickly. The coffee is what you expect. Prices, as at most Starbucks, are very high. So we only visit when we want a coffee treat. Last visit, I ordered the special drink of the day, posted right up front (cant even remember the name). I asked the server 'how much is it?'. She didnt know. She looked it up, and said $5.95 (I think). I said ok. Then rang it up. It was $7.95 because of the fancy whipped topping. I sighed and said oh well. And of course I tipped anyway due to peer pressure. The drink was 'ok'. So minus one star due to high prices and not posting prices. This Starbucks is inside Southpoint Hotel Casino, and it is a good place to drink your coffee while you have family or friends who are playing in the casino. They have a few tables and chairs and it is not always full and there's always space for you to sit down. Pricing wise it's not as expensive as when you are in Las Vegas strip. It's a few dollars less. They have outlets for you to plug your phone when you're running out of battery. The staff are friendly. read more

I love this Starbucks located within the SouthPointe Hotel and Casino. The employees are friendly and helpful. They work hard, so I always tip them. It's in my opinion, the best Starbucks in the Las Vegas Metropolitan area. I live down the street from SouthPointe so it's easy an easy drive for me. Yesterday I stopped in for a iced white mocha, non-fat whip. I usually order the Americano, but decided to order one of their specialty coffee drinks. This location makes sure I get my money's worth, because they always fill my cup up to the top. It's awesome! The service they provide is exceptional, the coffee drinks are out fabulous. All I have to say is WOW. But I want to elaborate on why. I have been coming to this Starbucks everyday for 4 days for a conference being held at South point casino. I ordered from here everyday and I noticed something I have not seen at a Starbucks in a very very long time, that being a happy team. Let me premise this by saying I travel the world and Starbucks is a sort of American embassy I try to find when I don't know any good places in other countries. So I have seen a lot of Starbucks and I have not seen a team dancing and smiling and just having fun, especially in early hours of the morning. Whatever this team has is special I would recommend it being studied because the drinks were fantastic because they were made by someone who is enjoying what they doing. Truly a very special team and I wish more Starbucks teams were just half as enthusiastic to work there as this team. Smiles are contagious and every day I left with one. This will be my go every morning while we are staying at the Grandview nextdoor since their coffee at Grandview isn't great. I ordered my coffee through the Starbucks app and just had to walk over to pick it up. They are pretty busy so give yourself like 10minutes, more depending on the time of the day. You can also wait in line but the line is typically pretty long. They have room for line to loop three times. read more

Decided to come to this hotel after speaking with Courtney from her other job! I came a little later in the evening, so I didn't get a chance to see her, but ran into a sweetheart named Lily who is such a joy to be helped by! Always smiling, and despite how loud it was, she called out my order clearly and kindly. This Starbucks is located right by the valet entrance, so it's easy to spot and very convenient as soon as you come in or if you're leaving. I was incredibly surprised by how busy this Starbucks was, but how fast the staff pumped out drinks. They have a small seating area with a few tables, and a side bar area where you can sit and watch the baristas. I imagine you could work there, but this hotel is incredibly busy, so I'm not sure if I'd recommend it for a study spot like normal Starbucks Cafés. The pricing is a little higher than any other typical Starbucks, but I expected as much with it being located in a hotel. They currently have their fall flavors, which are always a hit with me! read more

The Starbucks in the South Point Casino automatically adds a tip to your bill. They are sneaky about doing it as well. Even if you hit NO TIP and enter, there is a tip preselected and you dont realize it because everything is moving so fast and they quickly tell you to use the up and down arrows to add a tip, what they dont tell is the NO TIP button doesnt work and there is already an amount entered for you at their discretion. I go to South Point pretty often, I am very impressed with the night shift staff members that work until like 11pm. For example, Kaitlyn and the rest of the girls along with Matthew. They fit so well as a team to make your service great. They are literally my favorites and make me more motivated to come back just to even see them. Lines could be long at times, but this group of staffs will literally make time fly by as they are pretty good with time management. They literally know their frequent customers and are so polite each time I come by. This is probably one of my favorite locations as I've experienced like a home here than any other locations I go to. read more
