Yesterday early morning, after dropping my father off at the hospital for his glaucoma surgery, I stopped by a nearby Starbucks. This location in Larchmont is one of my favorite Starbucks. I love that I can charge my phone, the staff is always friendly, and all their drinks (including the coffee) and pastries are delicious. Ordering a cup of coffee here and taking a stroll down Larchmont Boulevard is so refreshing. In particular, I want to give a huge shout-out to Hugo, who seemed to be the manager yesterday (oh yeah, I was able to catch his name without even asking--I saw his nametag when he walked past me!). From the moment I walked in, he and all the other staff members gave me such a warm, friendly welcome. He was incredibly kind not just to me, but to all of the customers, and looked very professional. Also, they were giving out free Uber Espresso drinks to everyone yesterday, and it was really good. (However, free drinks are dangerous: it was tasty, but it was so sweet that my teeth haven't been feeling great and actually hurt since I drank it. OMG. I spent a lot of money on composite fillings and inlays for my teeth a few years ago, so I usually try to avoid sugary drinks, but I totally forgot yesterday and just drank it anyway.) Fortunately, I did skip the free Strawberry Mango Lemonade they were handing out to all the customers after that. (It just looked way too sweet!) I had one of my favorites, the Banana Walnut Loaf at this Starbucks too, and it was delicious. When I asked for a cup of water, a fork, and a knife, Hugo immediately had another staff member grab them for me so quickly, which I was very satisfied with. Even though yesterday was my first time seeing Hugo, I think he is a wonderful person who works incredibly hard, does his absolute best, and treats customers with genuine kindness. When there's someone like him working at a restaurant or cafe, it simply puts every customer who walks through the door in a good mood. read more

BEST BARISTAS IN TOWN! Haven't been to this location in almost a decade due to moving and I can happily say it's just as good as it was years ago if not better. The store is immaculate and chill, the baristas are incredibly friendly and I think this Starbucks might make the best drinks in the city compared to every other location I've been too. Whoever is the manager at this location needs a raise as do their baristas. This is now my new main spot. See you soon guys! X read more

Earlier today, I had the opportunity to speak with an amazing individual named Cap! When I called about an error with my order, there was no hesitation. We also got to share a couple of laughs and this customer service was warmhearted and inviting even offered to do the whole order over so I'm so thankful for cap and the rest of the Starbucks team, please keep it up and keep LA moving. the ambience is always kept in. Ok this Starbucks is literally my life. I love it so much and is the best Starbucks I have ever been to. They are so nice and generous and will give you a discount if you are a regular and they know you. They will always help you out and are super pacient. They have plenty of seating. All of it is so good especially a strawberry acai lemonade EXTRA STRAWBERRIES and the Grilled Cheese is impeccable. I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT HERE! There is one barista who used to work their, Octavio, who was so nice and always said hi to me, knew my order and name, and was so polite, as they all are. I always order ahead via the mobile app. Today, I really wanted to order the egg nog latte, but the last few days almost all of the Starbucks locations were showing the egg nog latte as 'sold out', so I've ordered other flavored lattes instead. Today was no different. I ended up reluctantly ordering the Caramel Brulee latte for myself and SF Vanilla iced coffee for my brother. They were still making my latte when I asked the nice barista when they expected to have the egg nog latte again. To my surprise, he said they haven't been out of stock and he didn't know why the app would show it as sold out. Because he I told him that it was what I REALLY wanted to order, he gave me the Caramel Brulee that he had already made AND made me an Egg Nog Latte too for free, apologizing for the misinformation in the app. Now, that's customer service! I used to come here every single day. Today I came in to get my mobile order as usual. While walking my shoes became untied and I have an infant strapped to my chest. While attempting to tie my shoes so I could safely get my coffee every employee erupted to shout at me because there is ABSOLUTELY no sitting down. I'm not trying to dine in. I'm a mom trying to get a coffee. I have limited options because of Covid as to what I can do. The lack of humanity is staggering. I explained I was just trying to get my shoe tied without falling over, and they let me know they didn't care. I then threw out my order that I paid for and they had a problem with that too. Yesterday I was on the way to San Diego with my son. Stopped for coffee before a long drive after a long day. Davin ( I hope I spelled his name right) greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcomed. He had such a happy attitude and new how address each customer, and it was the end of his work day. Inside, it's pretty good size with 4 counter seats and 10 small tables with 2 chairs each. Very accessible Google WiFi, but what I like most about the tables is the free charging pads for phones and tablets.  It's a busy location, so seating is at a premium. If your lucky enough to snag a spot, it's great to sip, meet & greet, and/or study. Most memorable for this location? =========================== 1) The service. This is my neighborhood Starbucks. I don't mind a bit of slow service as long as I get my coffee ( usually order by mobile app). I have seen lots of Baristas come & go in this location. I never talk down nor being rude to employees @ Starbucks. NILDA, works at Larchmont location, needs to be retrained as to better customer service skills. 1. She doesn't acknowledge you when you need her service. 2. She talks back to you when you point her out as to her mistake (placing wrong mobile order sticker to someone else etc). 3. Embarrassing you in front of other customers etc I complained to the corporate office regarding my unfortunate experience w/ NILDA. I spend thousands a year on Starbucks and have probably visited hundreds of locations (mostly in NYC but also across the U.S. and Canada). This is my first review, however, and not a good one. Location is nice enough with patio seating... and our order was executed just fine (a couple of coffees and a lemon loaf). But after walking our puppy for about a mile we were hoping to get some sort of vessel from them to provide our dog water with... we requested an oatmeal bowl for that purpose and were denied ... because they were low on bowls. What sort of business is that? Paying customers refused a 5 cent paper bowl because they may later miss a single sale? Happily this isn't one of my local Starbucks.... read more

Probably the worst Starbucks that I have visited. The person at the register had an attitude and I had to repeat my other like 3 or 4 times, where I just asked cold soy latte with light ice, but he proceeded to put 2 others and when I told him that I asked for a single order, he rolled his eyes... I showed my vaccination card and one of the lady said ok, and as I was going to sit down by the table, another lady told me to show my ID, and I said ok and brought my ID to that lady to show it, but she kept ignoring me though she saw me standing there. They did not even give my order correctly after all that. I was there for literally 10 minutes, and saw at least 3 people coming back saying that they did not get what they asked for. read more

Skip this Starbucks at all costs: no parking, not enough baristas, too many customers. Lack of decent service. Larchmont is always busy no matter what time of day, thanks to stay at home parents, elderly, and hipsters. However, there's only two workers at this location. It creates a long back ordered drink line. Even when ordering ahead of time through the app and arriving 10 minutes late, my drink is never ready. What makes it even worse is the little baristas that there are aren't friendly. I once saw an Asian customer get stereotyped and talked to as if she was 5-years old before she had to tell the cashier that she speaks English perfectly. They also managed to get my order (iced black coffee) wrong on two occasions ... when I ordered through an app. Regardless of the lack of decent service, skip this location and drive 5 minutes to another. read more

I noticed the 25% off add sign and when I mention to the cashier that she forgot the discount, the manager sadly said he can't honor the 25% off because it was over a couple of days earlier but the signs were still up. That's when Chris approached my wife and I and with the biggest smiled said... I'm very sorry sir for the inconvenience, here is a voucher and next coffee is on us! He made our day!!! read more

7 people ordered after me, they Served the 7 walk in people after me their drinks before my drinks came out. I didn't say anything, but everyone who dared ask about their drink being made wrong(2 people), or asking why they only had 1 of their 2 drinks for long periods of time(different 2 people), were met with an incredibly passive aggressive young lady saying "your drinks will be out in just a minute we will call your name when it's ready", or completely ignored by the other 2 gentlemen who just stared away on purpose as if they purposely wanted the customer to know they were ignoring them. I got almond milk in my coffee because of lactose issues, guess what I got in my drink . Going to hang out in my bathroom for a few hours. read more

Drinks were as good as any other Starbucks. Won't be returning here again bc the staff member (I didn't catch his name) was extremely rude when I went to go pick up a mobile order. He couldn't hear me behind my mask given he has steam whistling near his ear since he is behind the counter. And of course I wasn't going to remove my mask, so I just had to repeat myself 4 times with increasing volume until he could hear me. And then when he finally understood, he said "why didn't you say it like that in the first place?" with a lot of attitude before handing me my order. After walking around the area, shopping for a couple of birthday gifts and browsing the Sunday farmers' market, I popped in here to redeem my free birthday drink postcard that I got in the mail (yay!). While I waited in line, I was excited to see some new things in the bakery case: Starbucks Petites - mini bars, whoopie pies, cupcakes, and even cake pops, all under 200 calories and YUMMY looking! I HAD to get: Red Velvet Whoopie Pie ($1.50) - a mini whoopie pie, the size of a chunk-a-licious Oreo, drizzled with red icing and sammiched with cream cheese icing in between two soft RV whoopie pie-lets. This was SO YUMMY! I've had the red velvet cupcakes at Starbucks before and liked them, so it was no surprise that this whoopie pie made me happy too. Great staff at night. Not so busy. Made my drinks the way I like it. Well stocked but the floors need attending to. But of corse it is the end of the day. They have a cool bar place to sit and drink your coffee. Not just the Regular table and out siding sitting. This happened today at around 1145am today. This incident didn't occur to me but was so rude and so not what Starbucks needs. I placed a pick up order and while I was waiting I saw an elderly lady place an order for a double latte. They took her order and when completed it seems there was a miscommunication with the order; INSTEAD of smiling and understanding this woman employee just argued with the older woman and was absolutely horribly rude to her. The older lady was very nice and patient with the employee but she was snide and muttering under her breathe as she was making the correct drink. Like come on. This is Starbucks. You guys can hire better than that. I worked at one in Seattle for years, I know they do not train their employees the treat customers like that. I just needed to put this here as I know the employee was assuming "this old lady won't leave a yelp review", well I hope Starbucks looks at their employee situation and adjusts. Love the people and the vibe here in Larchmont. The employees always seem to be in a good mood. I don't think they are the fastest, Sherman Oaks and Studio City Starbucks seem to have this down. Juice up before you go... They got rid of the outlets --------------------------------- On the plus side, they have seating, unlike the always packed Bricks and Scones. The square footage is a bit small, ever since they took up prime real estate to build a bathroom. To compensate, they have a coffee bar with bar stools... And they changed the outlets to a proprietary wireless charger. Maybe that's not a bad thing, to prevent people from camping too long. On the same token, the chairs are one step above sitting on hard concrete, but no matter - as long as you have planned accordingly (and charge your phones / laptops fully), you can get some serious work done here, which is probably more than I can say at Bricks and Scones (where the few times I was there, I just found myself surfing the web, daydreaming, and people watching). Although there are many beverage options on Larchmont from fresh juices to lattes, I decided to go with a classic like Starbucks after my farmers market trip. I already had my morning coffee and wanted something refreshing to drink. I got a Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher, which is lower on the calorie count that some of the other options so I felt less guilty. Service was quick as I paid with my rewards, and the baristas were very nice. I would come back here for another Starbucks break. read more

This location is rather small and there isn't much seating. Plan on having your devices charged since outlets are limited. Service is fast, and all the employees are cheerful. There wasn't a open seat but I found a bench up the block. This is a nice old town area with several places to eat.Grab an ice cream at Salt and Straw a beverage at Starbucks and find some outside seating. This Starbucks is like most Starbucks, but it's on Larchmont Boulevard so I tend to stop here frequently. Their lattes are good, exactly like all Starbucks lattes, and the service is friendly. I have never had a problem here. The store is quite small, and there are only a few places to sit. Out on the sidewalk are a couple more tables. This Starbucks is nothing out of the ordinary but it is consistently good. read more

Fair amount of seating, friendly service. Some outdoor tables on this quaint, relaxed street. Do NOT get any breakfast sandwiches. They are small and the egg tastes like powdery astronaut food. You're better off grabbing a bagel sandwich at Noah's at the end of the block. I don't regularly pay $4 for a cup of java but they have a rewards program. You can also order online and pay on a "VIP" line inside. They accept Apple Pay and I'm assuming Android Pay. Street parking or a lot across the street. read more
