(I parked in the garage for amoeba which is validated with an amoeba purchase.) This location is pretty small but has a decent selection of donuts and coffee options. They have 2 self order kiosk and a few small tables inside. This is definitely better as a grab and go type of place, since seating and space inside are limited. Came here to grab some more lunch this Sunday afternoon and also to buy the popular $6 meal deal going on in the app! No major complaints. Service was just average, did not need much interaction as I offered pickup but employees seemed very attentive to people's orders especially on a busy Sunday. I think I only waited less than 10 minutes for my pickup order which was nice and quick! Food was decent (7.1/10) the iced coffee I found a little too sweet but that's probably on me as I asked for 2 shots of Carmela and mocha each and some sugar cane syrup. So if you don't like your coffee too sweet I'd recommend just 1/2 shots of something sweet js good enough. The croissant egg and sausage patty sandwich I found to be pretty good, I like that they toasted the croissant it gave a nice crispness and the egg was cooked better than a McDonald's egg McMuffin. Overall ambiance/environment was a little small. This is not a location to dine in. Most people seemed to just order something and leave. It can get a little crowded on weekends. But place seemed clean for the most part. And efficient as people seemed to get their orders within a few minutes. read more

Dunkin has apparently decided to replace most of its counter staff with an order kiosk. Everything took about 4 times as long as it would if they had 2 people instead of 1 behind the counter. They had items in the display case that weren't available to order on the kiosk and items in the kiosk that they were out of. Orders were prepared and handed out in a random order. The one employee working had NO customer service skills -- at least the kiosk said thank you. Overall an irritating experience. read more

Still love donuts. However, it's not just this location to blame, but they all are cashless, and they want you to order from their in-store kiosks, while the associates sometimes just stand there. Physically, the selections I wanted were there in-store, yet the option on the kiosk was missing. I will say the guy was helpful when I finally got their attention. Just another step away from human interaction (which normally I don't mind until I need the help). They were also out of a lot of things, but it was around 1p. The donuts are gone and the vibe is just not it. BUT, come around 8am, it's my favorite place to stop on the way to work and i have a variety of treats and breakfast wraps, while have a great tasting coffee or a matcha. Free donut in Hollywood, California... After a short (early morning) hike nearby, Gloria and I decided to use our $2 coupon from the T-Mobile Tuesday app. PARKING: a lot of the curbs are painted red around the corner where Dunkin' is located. I was tempted to park in a loading zone since this was Saturday, but Gloria said it would be terrible if we got towed. She's right. I drove down the block and parked in a metered space with a green curb (15 minutes). Inside, there was a line of people, but the lone gal was very efficient and got through all of the customers in no time. There are no dairy-free options. I wanted a pumpkin iced coffee, but I'm lactose intolerant. I asked for a pumpkin donut - none right now. How about a chocolate donut with sprinkles? Okay! My takeout package included three napkins! I'm in the store at 6201 Hollywood Blvd, right now on a Saturday afternoon. It's quite busy. I was next door at CVS and while waiting for my prescription, I decided to place a mobile order. I didn't send it because I wanted to wait until I had my prescription. Well, in my true fashion, I forgot to send the order. I went into your store and went to add my new card and got the message, "technical difficulties " so I couldn't add it to my app. I went to the kiosk and as I was trying to check out it was more expensive than through the app. Hugo was up to his ears in orders and when I was able to make eye contact with him, I asked if the kiosk didn't honor the "Dunkin' membership" prices that you have on the app. He totally stopped what he was doing and came over to me and asked me to explain. I explained and he told me I could go to the cashier and they could help me. When I came in, I had a few bags from different shops and placed them at the table by the door, but in a little cubby area, not able to be seen from the cashier. I explained I had the bags, and I was afraid of someone dashing in and grabbing them. I was just going to pay the price on the kiosk, but he literally came out from behind the line, went to the kiosk and helped me complete the transaction, which did in fact honor the coupons from the app. I am 62 yrs old, and have difficulty with technology. A boomer for sure. I've encountered places where I've been told that, and been made to feel like I'm the dumbest person in the world. He was so kind and I feel I never gave him the indication that I wanted him to stop and come out from behind the line. I feel he went over and beyond to help me. I work in the restaurant industry, so I know how frustrating it is when people stop your flow. I try to be like him whenever the situation arises. That is why I really appreciate him going above and beyond because it's how I try to be and I totally understand the annoyance it can be when you are focused on the task at hand, but you have to be customer friendly first. He definitely nailed that. Like I said, it was very busy and he made me feel like I was the only customer in there. He really deserves a shout out from y'all for his actions today. The service experience at this Dunkin' was so chaotic. They have two automated ordering machines where you basically order off of an iPad. When I was there, one of them was broken. I understand that this is a plus for many people, especially for when you don't feel like interacting with anyone or when you are still thinking about what to order. However, at this Dunkin' this was the main way to order. The line was held up for so long even though only two people were in front of us. The automated ordering system somehow seemed to make people not decide on their order until they started ordering. In addition, we could not find some of the items while trying to order. We spent forever trying to find a chai and couldn't. The ambiance isn't the best, but there's not much to say about it. Other than the service, I got an iced matcha which was surprisingly good. They let you customize the sweetness and sweetener method. Unlike Starbucks, this matcha didn't taste like it had added vanilla. read more

A big reason why I like Dunkin is because they're the only coffee shop that sells decaf iced coffee. Starbucks and Coffee Bean only sells decaf iced latte. For those of you who don't know, a latte is expresso with milk. Decaf iced latte has a bit more caffeine than a decaf iced coffee. Yes, decaf still has caffeine, just alot less of it than the normal versions. A large decaf iced coffee at Dunkin has less caffeine than a can of diet coke. Unfortunately, this store had run out of decaf iced coffee, so I ordered the coconut peach refresher. The bagel bites at Dunkin are awesome. They're basically bagel balls with cream cheese in the center. I'm a big fan of Dunkin. read more

This is some what my local Dunkin Donuts so I come here and there. Especially since being from New York I grew up on Dunkin. But this place has hands down the Worst customer service. Every time I come there's always some unhappy employee just being rude some type of way. I'm here now literally sitting outside with my drink that was prepared and served but yet another unhappy employee. This place needs to get their act together. Whenever we are near it, we stop at this Dunkin Donuts. It is the only one we go to and we love it. it is right next to The Pantages Theater and a great stop before going into the theater. The service is fast and very friendly. If you are traveling, and get lost, stop here and they will help you. I've been to this location multiple times in the past and I've yet to have any experiences with this Dunkin' that struck me as unpleasant. But I'm giving this location one star simply because my latest experience was utterly awful. I walked in during the afternoon and saw that there was only one family in front of another woman and myself. I walked up to the counter and patiently waited for the staff to finish making the order of the previous customers. After noticing they left almost 10 minutes ago and the two employees behind the counter were literally just walking back and forth past their cooking items in a completely empty store, I finally said "excuse me, I've been waiting for the last 10 minutes. Do you know how longer the wait will be?" The guy looked at me and said with a sharp tone, "we don't take orders". I was thrown off for a moment and the woman behind me said "what?" before I could. The employee then said in a harsher tone "we have kiosks now, we don't take orders" and proceeded to turn around. Now keep in mind I have been to this location over two dozen times and I have never seen a kiosk in there before. So I responded "if they are new kiosks, shouldn't you alert customers to that? How would we know if no one who buys from here often has seen them?" He then grabs a sign from BEHIND the counter that wasn't visible before and says "use the kiosk". I already knew the manager wasn't in since these two employees were the only ones there. I said "this is awful customer service" and he went on about whatever he was doing. Even with satisfactory experiences beforehand- that doesn't excuse an awful interaction with the staff. This location is convenient for anyone walking down Hollywood Blvd, but that kind of customer service won't make anyone want to return. read more
