I love some of the people that work here but there isn't a slower Starbucks. Generally, there are gobs of people waiting for their coffees. One night, I went in there to pick up a mobile order and no one was at the bar and so they didn't even get the order until I got there and summoned someone from the back. AND TODAY, I heard these words... "We're out of soy." At 2pm!!! Starbucks, you have ONE job... to make coffee for all people. So you run out of soy and you just don't bother to get any more? Well, hey, all of you dairy-free folks that like soy, sorry but you can't have your coffee today. Now you have to go to another Starbucks because this location has RUN OUT OF SOY and no, they didn't buy anymore. Look, all dairy-free people aren't created equal. Best Starbucks! Never a crowd or long line. The staff is always friendly, quick, and cheerful and they know their customers. My drink and food orders always arrive tasting excellent - no extra spices needed and I never get shorted on the milk in my lattes. You will not have to wait for online orders either. Waited a long time here for our order to be wrong and after correcting it the cup was covered in coffee which I had to wipe up myself. Also, not sure what has gotten into the baristas but they are anal about every small thing going on in the store: "don't stand there, don't sit there, too many people in one spot", never a please or thank you. They should call this place Cheers since they know the regulars. And they treat new people very well. If something's not right, they fix it. I've only had one mistake that I remember in the last 3 years (past that, I can't remember, I'm old). The place is clean and well maintained. I love sitting outside with my daughter and watching the cars go by. There's a lot of parking underneath and that's where I always go when I'm driving (i'll bicycle and walk as well) I mean, it's Starbucks. The coffee is consistently good. The service is consistently good. I personally love this place because they remember me, I like the seating, I like the clean bathrooms, and I like how easy it is to park below. Disappointing Service. Let me get the point. I ordered a tall ice latte toffee nut, with a 1/2 shot of expresso. The barista made it and I since I order the same drink for the 5+ years, I asked if she could add a little more milk. She responded, "I'll try, I don't know, I said, you can pour some out, if you have too." No reply, no eye contact, returned my drink." It didn't taste usually how I would normally like it. I know Starbucks is known to create anything for you and will go lengths to make it "perfect." I wasn't creating a drink, it's their usual and I'm not asking for perfect. The worst Starbucks ever! This review is based on consistent experiences since they opened. Besides not knowing their own menu, cashiers that aren't trained properly and either record the wrong order, take 15 minutes to enter it or constantly having to ask a sup to come over and help make your initial experience tedious. Then comes the barista aspect. It's not hard to make a earl grey tea with a splash of milk and should not take 21 yes 21 minutes to make a pink drink. I came here today in a rush and ordered a simple item in hopes it would be made sort of quickly. The store was dead so that shouldn't have been a problem. After waiting nearly 20 mins and watching the barista working asking people for their drink orders before they even ordered and giving them out to people, I asked politely at first where my drink was. I was told it was next, two more drinks are made before me at which point I ask for a refund. Then the employee skipping my drink to help people who haven't even paid yet, the blame was then placed onto me and other employees. One of the least professional things I've ever seen. I was being nice and apparently I shouldn't have been ar which point I stopped. Never coming back and it's my local spot. Ridiculous. I walked in for an order pickup. They couldn't find it so I double checked my phone and I ordered at the wrong store. I muttered never mind and tried to walk out feeling super embarrassed but the nice lady at the register inquired further and I explained I had placed the order at the wrong store. She asked what I had ordered and went ahead and got me the drink at this store. That act totally made my day. This is a nice enough store located next to the freeway (CA-85) art the Los Gatos Blvd/Bascom exit (across Los Gatos Blvd from the Stanford/Good Sam hospital medical complex. The partners are friendly and the customers are dominated by medical personnel who clearly frequent this store. This is a busy, well-run store which features a great location and inadequate parking. read more

This place is great. This has to be one of the quietest Starbucks I have ever been to. The service is great and the people are nice. I got a green tea and it was done in the usual Starbucks manner. I just spent 1 1/2 hours here and really enjoyed it. The only thing I would recommend to the owners is more comfortable chairs. The wood chairs need to go. read more

Absolute worst Starbucks I've ever been to. I recently placed a mobile order thinking it would be ready after 15 minutes. The order took another 30 minutes once I got there for pickup. To make matters worse, the order was incorrect. The employees seems more interested in socializing instead of actually doing what they were hired to do. This Starbucks has been nicely remodeled and it's spacious. The service was great. It gets pretty busy around 3 pm. The only reason why I can't give it a 5 star is because they don't have outlets for me to charge my laptop. It is a very busy location in the mornings and their job isn't easy with people rushing to get their orders and often being impatient due to time pressures. I'm not a huge fan of this location. I can't go here on my way to work because of how long everything takes. I do like to come here on the weekend sometimes though. The bar staff is usually happy but it's the people working register, you know, the customer service part, that act as if they are attending a funeral. I normally give a business a few chances before I write a 1 star review... This location used to be really good. It's convenient and down the street from my work. I relocated for the last 5 months but now I'm back in the area. I've gone here twice since I've been back and each time they messed up my order. The first time I ordered a venti peppermint mocha. I like the mint and the sweetness of the syrup and it mixes well with the dryness of the mocha. When I took the first sip, I knew instantly that it was made with white mocha, which is much too sweet to begin with so the mint syrup made it extremely overly sweet. I also had to ask for the peppermint sprinkle because the guy put the lid on without it. I thought I'd let that slide... Mistakes happen all the time. The second time I went in I ordered a zebra mocha (white and chocolate mocha together) because I like the dryness mixed with the sweet. My drink came out great! But I had ordered an everything bagel and when I opened it at work it was a plain bagel. I can't let this one slide because I heard the girl ask the guy to put an everything bagel in the toaster AND the bag clearly said "EB with CC" And to top that off, the guy who gave me my order was a total tool bag. On a good note, Cassidy is extremely nice, 5 stars for her :) she's helped me many times and she's always very pleasant to talk with. read more

I decided to skip my desert and informed the cashier/manager of the fly. The response I got from this employee was so casual and unapologetic. This Starbucks is conveniently located near Good Samaritan Hospital so it is a busy Starbucks. They always seem adequately staffed though and I never have to wait too long for a drink. Despite how busy they are they still make it feel like a neighborhood coffee shop. All of the staff are super friendly! I love coming here and love the baristas! There is alot of room inside to sit and nice patio seating as well. This store is always very clean-bathrooms too. Yes, I agree with other reviews, the parking isn't always the greatest... But it takes a whole 30 seconds longer to park in the garage...it's not terribly inconveniencing. Overall Its my favorite Bux thanks to the awesome baristas! read more

This Starbucks is pretty packed in the morning when I come before work. Sometimes parking is so hard to find that I have to park in the back and it's a pain to have to walk all the way to the front especially since Starbucks is at the end of the strip. I've had an OK experience every time I have been here except once. I came and I proceeded to tell the barista my order. I said I wanted a Soy Caramel Machiatto and he repeated back to me Salted Mocha and I told him no... Caramel Machiatto. He wrote "SCM" but wrote soy on the bottom. I waited an unusually long while for my drink. They finally called my name but of course, they said Salted Caramel Mocha. I let them know that I had not ordered that. They were confused because of the writing and started making me a new drink. I knew that guy got my drink wrong! GRR!! So upset. I should have gotten his name! read more

Yeesh. You'd think I have leprosy by how rudely the cashier here treated me this morning around 11:30 am. I have a pretty high tolerance for rudeness but this was beyond. (Actually some of the customers were a bit rude too so maybe that's just how this place is.) Went to use the bathroom and it was incredibly dirty. There was wet, dirty toilet paper all over the floor. Someone had left the toilet seat up and the seat was absolutely covered in dried urine. An extra star here for the guy who made my drink, who was pleasant and the drink was fine. I'm pretty laid back but this was a shockingly bad Starbucks, especially given that Los Gatos is an affluent area and this particular store is surrounded by hospitals and medical offices. read more

Great service! I came by today to get a Honey Citrus Mint tea before visiting my grandmother in the hospital. The drink tasted different from the usual, but I didn't think of it much. However, I came back two hours later, and the employee who took my order earlier, I believe she told me her name is Seti, told me that they had forgotten to add lemonade to my drink and that she would make me another right away free of charge! Extra points for remembering me and my order from 2 hours before Anyways, great service! read more

My first off-the-highway Starbucks. Con: Lazy cashier girl (should have gotten her name, next time maybe) = -1 I stopped by while in Los Gatos and ordered a Vanilla Frap. The cashier must have been very preoccupied with what she was doing because she clearly missed my personal cup that I placed in front of her. I told her as she began writing on a cup, and I just got the "annoyed" vibe after she put it away. The baristas here know how to make a good frap! My frap was very tasty, but that was probably due to the exact tasting of vanilla ice cream coming through my straw. The only aspect of the frap that I did not like here was that it had bigger than usual pieces of ice at the bottom of the cup, but I guess since the whip cream topping was so generous, I can overlook it. read more
