One of the nicer Safeway Starbucks. All drinks were on point and the baristas were extremely kind. :)

Five Stars Romance Served by the Slice…read more Tucked inside Clackamas Town Center sits Tous les Jours, and I'll be honest I didn't give it the respect it deserved the first time around. I rushed a review, checked in, moved on. That was a mistake. This place isn't just a bakery it's a quiet little weapon in your romance arsenal. You walk in and you're hit with that warm, sweet scent of fresh bread and cream, the kind that makes you slow down whether you planned to or not. Now here's the move: don't overthink it. You don't need to walk out with a whole cake (though you absolutely can). Grab a single slice chocolate, fruit, cream-filled, whatever catches your eye and bring it home like it actually means something. Because it does. Small gestures hit harder than grand speeches. And if you really want to step it up? Have them make a custom cake. Yeah, it's not cheap. This isn't bargain-bin dessert territory. But you're not paying for cheap you're paying for precision, presentation, and that moment when someone's face lights up before they even take a bite. Fun foodie fact: Tous les Jours actually means "every day" in French, and the whole concept behind the brand is baking fresh, daily no shortcuts, no stale shelf life. It's a South Korean-born bakery that blends French technique with Asian-style lightness, which is why their cakes aren't overly heavy or sugary they're balanced, clean, and honestly easier to keep eating than you probably should. That's what puts this place on my list. Not just because the cakes are good but because it delivers something people forget matters: intention. You're not just buying dessert here. You're buying a moment. And if you play it right, that slice might be worth more than the whole cake.

My favorite is the Iced Honey Lavender Matcha Latte, it's perfectly creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. I also really appreciate that they offer milk alternatives. I'll definitely be stopping by every time I'm in Clackamas!

I've walked past Croffle Crew at Clackamas Town Center a few times thinking, "Man, that looks…read morefancy. I'm gonna have to try that." Well, today I finally stopped and apparently my taste buds had been waiting on me. I went with the avocado toast and salmon lox, and let me tell you, that avocado was amazing. Everything on that thing worked together perfectly. The croffle had that waffle-like texture, but it didn't overpower anything. It was just the right amount of crispy, savory, creamy, and delicious. I ate that thing like I had somewhere important to be... which I didn't. The food came out in less than two minutes, which is faster than I can decide what I actually want to order. The inside was clean, fresh, open, and simple. Nothing over-the-top or trying too hard. It felt like a place where you could actually sit down, relax, and enjoy your food without somebody blasting music into your soul. And the crew? Great people. The gal working the counter had me laughing my ass off while I was ordering. I don't even remember exactly what the joke was, but apparently she was funnier than my breakfast, and that's saying something because this avocado toast was putting on a comedy special of its own. Five stars. Great food, quick service, clean atmosphere, friendly people, and a croffle that made me wonder why I waited so long to stop. I walked past this place several times thinking it looked good. Turns out, it wasn't just looking good it was damn good.

This charming little gem has opened recently in the last year in a nook behind the Clackamas mall…read more And it is an absolute delight. It is a very open space with high ceilings. Although it is mostly composed of white shades, there's a calming mint color to contrast, with small pops of pink. At certain times of the day, it can be particularly busy, and the noise levels can be high. There is a combination of both sweet and savory options. The food is centered around croissant dough being formed into waffle shapes. When my coworker and I went, it was during the February special, which premiered certain flavored croffle and drinks for a limited time. One of the types we had was the Burrata & Prosciutto. The creamy burrata, the salty, satiny layers of prosciutto, contrasted with the sharp and sweet notes of the balsamic glaze was mouthwatering. The croissant base made for a great vehicle for the toppings, being soft in the center, and flaky on the exterior. The Nutella, Strawberries & Bananas Croffle was an instant classic, albeit a little heavy on the Nutella, since they stuffed some more of it in the interior of the croffle. The seasonal Berry in Love was absolutely fantastic. The fresh berries and house-made compote with the slightly sweetened whip was not heavy on the palate at all. For the drinks, we got the Sweetheart Latte, which was a light blend of rose and vanilla. The Blushing Matcha was incredibly smooth and earthy with notes of tangy raspberry bits over foam. Overall, it was a great experience. Both the food and drink are excellent. But expect prices to be more on the expensive side. The staff was also informative and hard at work behind the counter. I have already been back to this establishment a couple of times.
