I have visited this location on numerous occasions and one of the things that has stood out to me is how sweet and friendly many of the employees are. I've had them take the time to ask what I have planned for the day when visiting via the drive thru, and even today the woman taking my order was like I just wanted to say how pretty you are... I just wanted to tell you that. While another young lady (a barista) saw me waiting for my drink to be prepared and leaned over the counter and commented that she liked my hair. Even though they were pretty busy this afternoon they took the time to say the nicest things to me and this is generally what I experience when visiting this location. My sugar plum danish was excellent (first time trying it) and espresso shots hit the spot. I could have used a bit more sugar free vanilla & caramel brûlée flavor in the drink ( since I paid extra for the additional syrup but still couldn't taste it.) other than that everything was great. Out of the local Starbucks in the area this location tends to make my drinks the best. read more

This location is one of the friendliest I've been to. Their drive thru line is always so incredibly long, but it moves fast! The staff is always peppy, even when they're very busy. I used to go to Starbucks almost daily before the COVID-19 pandemic. I usually get the same thing each time. I know what that tastes like and have gotten accustomed to its taste. Well today, I went to this Starbucks and the one they gave me was delicious! It is simply a grande iced latte. I don't know what was different this time but the proportions were on point and the ice level was perfect. It also made my day. The store itself is not doing indoor seats or bathrooms but I was fine with that. Literally just went in and out for coffee. Staff was friendly and efficient. read more

The line was long & we waited for a good few minutes before we started moving - much slower than I'm used to for other locations, but after the first couple of cars were served, the speed picked up. This particular Starbucks can be slow most times because it's always busy, unless before 630 in the morning. They are always courteous and friendly. I don't know if you knew, T but their inside has been renovated! I hadn't been to the location since they closed their doors due to COVID and I finally stopped in again today. They've got a large comfy leather bench seating on their wall with lots of round tables and chairs. Great place to sit and study or catch up on some work. Their background music is quite loud compared to some other Starbucks I've been to- but I'm digging the new seating arrangements. They've also got two tables for the handicapable and a larger table for about 6-8 people by the front door. Clean bathrooms :) read more

Nice Starbucks in a good location right down the road from CSU and convenient right off the interstate. The parking lot is a little small and gets pretty packed, but they do share a building with a Firehouse Subs. It's one of the better locations I have found to do work in the mornings and on weekend on their wifi. The staff here is friendly and energetic and will take good care of all your coffee related needs. read more

Starbucks on University Boulevard in North Charleston is a really well operated Starbucks that does everything that you want a Starbucks to do. They have excellent service here and I have been impressed with everything each time I have been here. The location is very convenient from each direction if you are in this area of town. I go to this Starbucks since it is the closest to Goose Creek. It's honestly my favorite of all the Starbucks I've been to. They have friendly baristas, spacious area, and plenty of seats and tables. It's very well kept, and they play bomb ass music. --- Very often I go through the Starbucks app to find the name of the song. Like other Starbucks, their coffee and fraps are amazing. I recommend dark roast for those who don't want their drinks to taste like Ben and Jerry's ice cream, but for those who do, try their Caramel Frap! read more

The people here are always very kind! I'm not sure why they don't have better reviews. I've had a couple of occasions where I've asked for my drink to be remade (and not any fault of the barista) and they've not only done that, they were kind in the process... which we all know isn't always the case when you're making more work for someone. I've always been very pleasantly surprised by the workers here and everything is standard Starbucks good. The is by far the cleanest Starbucks with the nicest baristas that I've ever been to. I used to work at Starbucks, and I thought the one I worked at was like this until I came to this location. Everyone here speaks to customers and each other with utmost respect and genuine kindness, and they treat everyone like they've been in 100 times. Such a convenient location to be by all the stores on a main road. I was able to grab a nice treat before I headed into my meeting. Parking was great and Starbucks service was running as normal. It took a few minutes to get my drink but she ended up throwing in some whipped cream and chocolate shavings to my mocha. The baristas were very friendly and personable. Of course, I'm sure it helps that I came on a Sunday at around lunchtime and there were only about 3 customers in the cafe. My drink was up to Starbucks' normal standards -- that's one thing Starbucks really excels at, compared to their competitors, consistency and standardization in drink taste. My only complaint is that this location is not very clean. There's little bits of debris under the condiments cart that can be seen when sitting in the pleather seating area -- at least several days worth. Whoever sweeps up at closing needs to do better. And the window to the left of the condiments cart had a TON of fingerprints, smudges, and handprints on it. It obviously hadn't been windexed in awhile. I'm not a neat freak, but if I'm paying $6 for a coffee drink, I expect the place to be clean. read more

This is one of my favorite locations. They are pretty busy in the mornings, but they always get you in and out pretty fast. They are friendly, but quick. Honestly, I think mobile ordering was the best thing I've done for myself. There have been a time or two where they didn't have it ready, but it was a Saturday. People and kids were everywhere, so on Saturdays order earlier than you think you need to. read more

Pros: The service is great. The atmosphere is great. Cons: the location is easy to access when making a right turn but making a left turn in, you have to cross traffic. It is a little difficult. It is also difficult to leave making a left turn. The tables are a little unstable... well at least the one I was sitting at. Overall: this was a good experience. read more
