I was just at this Starbucks, and I had a free coffee so I used my points and ordered online, it said there was an error and I couldn't use my points...all good so I just used my card. I went through the drive thru and the worker had told me my order went thru twice, I checked and it did use my points and it charged my card. This is one of the worst Starbucks I've been to. I stayed overnight in the area, so it was out of convenience rather than pleasure. Nothing outrageous, just that both visits the staff was not an ounce friendly or fast. Took a minute to be greeted and to order at the register. As I stood there wanting to order, they moved around making coffee for customers that would've been better served if the employees drank them. very rude customer service. I drove to Starbucks prior to closing on Sunday, August 11 and walked in at 9:59pm. AlI the lights were still on and between 3-4 workers were cleaning while one employee finished making drinks for 2 customers who were exiting as I entered. Before I could say a word, the employee said "we are closed" I proceeded to say, "it's 9:59, can I just buy a cold drink from your refrigerator section? He then looked over at the time which read 10 and said "No, our system immediately shuts down at 10, we are closed" Please don't lie to me, I know your system does not immediately close on the dot when the store closes. Any other person would agree to the fact that you were to lazy to help rather than going the extra miIe to represent your store branch in a positive light. The doors should have been locked if closed. I am a branch manager for a rental car company and although I may be tired after a long day of work; if a customer walked in at 5:59 prior to closing @ 6 in need of a rental, I wouldn't hesitate and immediately assist the person after excusing myself to lock the doors prior to assisting my last customer. I believe i noticed a manager approaching the front entrance to lock the doors after leaving when my request for service was refused unfortunately, not even the manager assisted me with my order. Word of advice, in a future situation like this, may very well be the difference between keeping a loyal customer completely satisfied and made to feel valuable or a disappointed customer who may never want to return again along with warning others about such disappointing customer service. read more

The worst Starbucks I have ever been to! I usually go to this Starbucks because it's on my way to work. Every time I go and get a standard iced coffee with 2% milk and classic syrup and it has not once come out right. Last week I was rudely told to begin asking for more milk if I noticed that it didn't taste right. I don't have to do this at any other Starbucks but I digressed. Today I went and it wasn't made right even after asking for extra milk. The lady seemed so annoyed and was rude that I didn't even bother telling them it still wasn't right. I have been to this location about 5 times the past month. The drinks are usually right and people are friendly. However, each time I've come it has taken me 20-30 minutes just to get through the drive through!!!! And it's not a long line or a drive thru that is really long. When this Starbucks first opened I was so happy! On my way to work, with mobile order it's just a quick way to get my fix in the morning. They were fast and had great customer service. The last 3 visits I've had here...not so much. I ALWAYS mobile order. I'm thankful Starbucks provides that feature. I'm told 4-7minutes. Which I think is totally reasonable considering all of the people in line inside waiting for their drinks and the drive thru. But it has taken 15-20 minutes for them to get to my order the last 3x I've been there. And when I come in to ask for it, the customer service is just not good! "It's not ready yet," while I see 7 drinks ahead of mine that are not mobile order. Even simply saying "sorry we are slammed but we will get yours out soon" would be better than nothing. There are side conversations happening with the baristas and they aren't even paying attention to the people waiting for their drinks. I don't like to write bad reviews, but this Starbucks has potential to be the best one in town, but they've only been open a short while and are declining in efficiency and customer service. The baristas here tend to be much slower than the other locations...I find myself in the drive thru lane much longer than normal. The staff isn't so friendly here either. The meat in my sandwich happened to have been cold too-A few minutes longer in the oven would've been greatly appreciated, I mean I did have a long wait already...what's another 3 minutes. I begin this with saying that I've frequented this facility since they opened. Sure! The drive thru is speedy, but it's a hit or a miss with beverages.. today for example I requested a tall soy mocha with an add shot and wound up with a grande. As a Northwest Native, I grew up going to Starbucks, and although it generally isn't coffee for the true "coffee connoisseur ", it usually will do and often gives me a feeling of home since moving here three years ago. However, we get three coffee drinks several times per week and more often then not, the drinks are bitter and taste burnt. I am not sure if this happens during the espresso drink making process or if the product comes to the store like that, but it needs to be addressed. Perhaps it is because people are not as particular about their coffee in Southern California but the quality should be the same and it leaves Starbucks open for another coffee company, like Dutch Brothers or another NW company, to come in and take away business. Please keep quality control a number one goal because it is non existent now. read more

I'm gonna get straight to the point, this location has some of the rudest baristas I've EVER had to deal with at Starbucks. I feel like it's just common knowledge that Starbucks baristas are notorious for hating their jobs and making it feel like it's customers fault that their job is so horrible, but this is by far the worst I've ever seen it. I ordered a very simple drink (and I know it's one of the more simple drinks to make because I have friends and family that work at Starbucks and they let me in on the scoop so I don't order drinks that are annoying and complicated) and I was standing not very far away from the bar when I heard two baristas essentially talking sh*t about the drink I ordered. Very shamelessly, not very quietly, talking about how the drink I ordered was sooooo hard to make and the fact that I modified it with *gasp* oat milk made it even more complicated. On top of that, apparently putting cold foam on top of your drink really pisses off the baristas they do NOT like going out of their way to make a drink they were hired and paid to make. I could hear every word they were saying as they were ridiculing they way I ordered my drink, the flavor I had chose, and the fact that I was so stupid for ordering such a drink. When the barista handed out the drink, instead of saying my name that was posted on the sticker, they said "here's your drink" in a snarky tone and I was not the only one in the cafe so it could've been anyone's drink. In fact their was a man standing in front of me so it very easily could've been his? Why didn't they just say the name on the cup? I have no idea. I'm so sorry you chose to work at Starbucks and making my tiny drink was SUCH an inconvenience to you that you openly talked about how annoying I was. You can thank your lucky stars that I work in the service industry as well and recognize that people have bad days, otherwise I would've been talking to the manager about your shi**y a*s attitude. However, 9 times out of 10 at this location, this is this kind of service you will receive. There was one girl in the drive thru who actually entertained the drink I ordered and thought it sounded really good but that was the only good experience I've had out of this location. The positive attitude and employee engagement was amazing. They were busy, mostly drive through and took a minute to get to me, I walked in. They did acknowledge me the moment I stepped up to place an order. The girl who took my order was fast and personable. The barista who made my drink called my name after a few minutes, just to let me know she was making my drink and had not forgotten about me. I worked at Starbucks many years ago and expect the best. CONs: I often find that the drinks that I would like to buy aren't available, a couple of times due to things like being out of lemonade. He threw it at me as if I should have been grateful for a $10.25 beverage that he took ZERO care to craft. Starbucks has become McDonald's in the coffee world. No one working there actually knows how to make coffee or anything regarding crafting a drink. It's child employees need to be properly trained both on customer service and recipes.
