The coffeeshop itself is quaint and cozy inside. Service was slow, as there was only one person working on making all the drinks, taking the orders, taking payments, and getting food out. There were only 2 people ahead of us, but it took a while for us to get an acknowledgment for being there, as she was working hard on making the drinks for them. Our group mostly stuck with regular coffee, and the cafe uses Stone Creek Coffee. The latte was good and creamy. Vibes inside were cozy and warm on a cold December day. And the neighborhood was nice! The bread was nicely toasted, the ingredients were fresh, there was plenty of perfectly cooked bacon, and the avocado was creamy and ripe. The portion felt more like two sandwiches than one. For drinks, I had the Orange Blossom Hot Tea, which was very good. She ordered the Mocha Latte, and it was outstanding. The barista clearly took the time to get it just right. And who doesn't appreciate well-crafted latte art? It was a beautiful day, so we sat out on the front patio. About half of the patio is covered, providing protection from either the rain or the hot sun. These are just a few of the reasons I keep coming back.

I'd encourage the owner to consider using real lemons or more natural ingredients, as I think it would make a huge difference. Inside, there is seating downstairs or upstairs, which tends to be a bit quieter (my choice). Also upstairs is a meeting room that you can reserve. The counter to order is at the back of the shop, which can feel a little distracting if you are sitting downstairs, with people lining up across the room. On this visit, I got a super friendly greeting from the cashier. Ordered a London Fog Tea Latte (a little vanilla, a little lavender, extra foam) in a mug, and a blueberry lemon scone. They do a nice job with the latte, and the scone was very good (might ask to have it warmed up next time). The place has a great vibe. The staff seem to enjoy themselves and treat everyone with kindness and respect. It's a great example of what a coffee shop should be.
