There are no seating arrangements inside the small shop that has a lot of merchandise from T-shirts, sweatshirts, to coffee beans to mugs, etc.. from the looks of the mugs that are featured here. This shop has been in business for a decade, more power to you. I hear vibrant and cultural music that is faint enough for you to be able to carry a conversation, I really love that. Even on a Tuesday at 3 p.m. there are locals hanging out, enjoying the space, the music, the coolness (in both senses of the word). The staff here is always friendly and accommodating. Because of the rush, they missed my milk modification and the drink ended up being way too sweet, to the point where I couldn't really drink it. What saddened me most was that the cashier was pretty rude and dismissive toward us. We actually felt so uncomfortable that we didn't even want to ask for a remake, so we just headed out. This is a functional, budget drink. On ambiance, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) is a HUGE success. There's a lot of utility. The location has a self-serve water station, public internet with no password, stacked high chairs for children, two game corners (ex: Chess, Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga, Uno Cards, Etc), and about one available electrical outlet. Warning: The organic coconut mango drink was just straight coconut milk and some mango puree. It was a tough one to drink. Luckily the barista blended that with some ice and more mango and that made the drink 10x better!
