I had finished my errands of my day off from work and really appreciated the time to relax. My husband joined me there after his work and from there we continued with our adventure in downtown Pomona (see The Rookery and Game Nights). Even on a Tuesday at 3 p.m. there are locals hanging out, enjoying the space, the music, the coolness (in both senses of the word). The staff here is always friendly and accommodating. They select the music so it's different depending on the barista. I took photos of a couple intriguing flyers from the Pomona community on the table at the front doorway.

As we approached the smell of the coffee was beautiful! the space was scattered with a variety of seating... booths, tables, couches they had QR code menu + digital menu... daughter and both got the bourbon caramel iced and shared a breakfast sandwich. oh wow ...i was pleasantly surprised at how yummy it all was! they have a counter set up with to go boxes, napkins, water etc... to help yourself...love that! also i guess it switches from a coffee shop to a bar at 5 pm...genius! not sure if alcohol is available before 5 and coffee after 5...i would be curious to find out. def will come back to check out the evening vibes

And if I'm not getting the Snickerdoodle, my other go-to is the Heartthrob Iced Latte, which is another super solid choice If you want to avoid lines and the crowds that tend to fill up the shop, I'd recommend coming in earlier in the day. Sometimes the line gets pretty long and the wait can be a bit much. It can also get tricky finding a seat inside when it's busy, though you might have better luck outside if you don't mind sitting outdoors lol Overall, I really appreciate how nice the staff usually is :)

There's no hesitation from any of the ingredients, as they all intertwine and create a delicious experience. To be fair, I've only tried the Courageous Latte, but I'd go back every day for it if this place were closer to me! The space itself is well thought out and lively, especially on weekends. The Saturdays I've stopped by, there has been a DJ playing upbeat music. Now be warned, there is a long wait. From other reviews, it seems like there isn't a day where they don't have a line, so be prepared to wait. But rest assured, the wait is worth it.

I love cafe de olla and as they say, it didn't disappoint. I got an exceptional cup of cafe de olla latte, thanks to Elijah, who was a very welcoming and and friendly young man who help me at the counter. He answered all my curious questions. It is such a small shop. There are no seating arrangements inside the small shop that has a lot of merchandise from T-shirts, sweatshirts, to coffee beans to mugs, etc.. from the looks of the mugs that are featured here. This shop has been in business for a decade, more power to you. I hear vibrant and cultural music that is faint enough for you to be able to carry a conversation, I really love that. This is right by the Metrolink train tracks street parking noted and there appears to be a public parking that's free along first street this shop is in the corner of first Street and Main Street. . We were delighted to see it was happy hour after 1pm which was buy 2 get 1. The worker was able to customize our drinks. We got 2 brown sugar milk tea with boba and their tropical fruit. I tried the milk tea during lunch and it was tasty. Got home later that day and tasted the fruit tea and it was also good. I liked that it came in a keepsake bucket and the fresh watermelon fruit was a good touch. With the happy hour, we paid $14.50 for 3 drinks. Individually drinks are about $7 so not cheap, but they were decent tasting. Come for the happy hour!
