Soooo I tried coffee bean for the first time yesterday. I got the blended mocha with caramel drizzle and I was actually shocked. I've heard good things about coffee bean, but I didn't expect it to be so much better than anywhere else I've tried! The coffee just tasted great quality and their caramel is great quality as well. It's 1000 times better than Starbucks. The staff is super friendly and kind! They are more than happy to help with any questions and have no issue with customizing any drink! They all seem to have such nice personalities and try to save you some money! The drinks are actually so much better than Starbucks IMO. The baristas are always really nice and friendly, you can adjust your drinks how you want and they'll be happy to try. My go to order is mango and peach jasmine green tea, which is technically not on their menu since it's typically two separate drinks. I love the combination of the two flavors, and paired with their jasmine green tea results in a refreshing and well rounded drink. I do recommend getting it with less sugar or half sugar since it can run on the sweet side. My only complaint is that they do put in quite a substantial amount of ice, and it feels like the ice melts rather quickly, diluting the drink. Nonetheless, I always enjoy grabbing a cup of their tea whenever I'm around there. The price of my drink was $4.85, which I think is pretty fair. I just moved to So Cal this year and had never heard of a Coffee Bean before. Now that I've tried it, I realized I've been missing out. The person that helped us was very nice and attentive. The drinks were made quickly and tasted absolutely amazing. There was seating inside and outside. It was very clean and considering how busy it was the restrooms were really clean, too. This location is great too, being that it's close to the theater, restaurants and a few shops (though many of the shops ask that you leave your drinks outside). I've recently become a regular here, and I can say that the drinks are always good. I like the small environment, it feels cozy and like a neighborhood coffee shop more than a chain. The service is always pretty nice and as fast as it can be in a popular location. There is seating inside and outside, but the outside can be a little off-putting since I've noticed a lot of smoking occurring in the pass-through to the courtyard. Not being a smoker, it isn't a great place for me to sit. But, its always nice inside. There's seating in the courtyard as well, and it is very pretty. Some smokers there, but more space so it's not as aggressive. Inside can be a bit noisy sometimes, but I really get the "you are welcome" feeling here, and noise-cancelling headphones do wonders! I didn't realize it until I got all the way to my car. I turned back around and went back to the store. I waited in line and let the register person know. One of the girls at bar (I believe had braces) overheard and asked for the drink back and instead of remaking it, dumped it back into blender and added the cookies.
