I could see a bit and it was very cute and a nice size for hosting. There were not many plants outside on the front and the greenhouse was nicely stocked but not full. So some may consider the selection a bit small, but it was still nice. They had tons of beautiful pottery and lots of supplies to also choose from. We didn't try the food, but everything coming out looked great. A couple of small downsides: parking can be a bit tricky, although we found free street parking just down the block. There were also quite a few flies inside during our visit, so I hope that's something they can address. Overall, a great experience, and we'll definitely be back!

I selected from their seasonal drinks and opted for the iced summer crumble latte. I ordered the summer crumble latte (espresso, milk of choice, blueberry, house made oat crumble distillation, subtle lemon coconut infusion, oat tincture, lemon rind garnish) which was excellent and tasted like a bowl of cereal milk. I noticed several people ordering matcha which also may be excellent and something I'll have to try next time. Parking can be a bit tricky here as the coffee shop is located in the heart of downtown Raleigh. The vibe inside this coffee shop is bright and open. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely be stopping by black and white coffee for a cup of coffee.

When you walk inside, you're greeted by a large, open space with a clean, minimalist design that feels modern without being cold. The menu is where this place stands out. There are a lot of fun choices, including several unique options you don't see at most coffee spots, which makes it worth exploring beyond your usual order. I kept it simple and went with a red eye, and it delivered--good, solid coffee with the extra kick you want when you're in the middle of a workday. Overall, a convenient stop with a cool atmosphere and a menu that brings something a little different to the table. Definitely a good spot to keep in mind if you're in the Cary area.

Since it was peach season I had to try their freshly made peach syrup. The latte was good and the beans were a bit more on the acidic side which I enjoy. You may want to stir the latte a bit as there was a bit of syrup at the bottom of the cup. Definitely check this place out if you are in the Mordecai neighborhood in Raleigh and are looking for good coffee.
